Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it's both safe and comfortable. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies' recommendations.
In-office teeth whiteningis performed by trained dental professionals providing for safe and reliable bleaching results. The results of professionally administered in-office whitening tend to be better because dentists use higher-concentration bleaching gels. To begin treatment, a cheek retractor is used to expose the teeth. A liquid rubber dam or hardening resin is applied to the gum tissue for protection. A hydrogen peroxide bleaching gel is then applied to the teeth where it remains for 15 to 30 minutes. The gel is then cleaned off and reapplied for one or more additional periods of 15 to 30 minutes. A high-intensity light is used to help activate/enhance the bleaching process. Results will be visible immediately. We also offer a process in which you can be fitted for trays to continue bleaching at home and keep that perfect white smile!
Taking good care of your mouth, teeth and gums is a worthy goal in and of itself. Good oral and dental hygiene can help prevent bad breath, tooth decay and gum diseaseand can help you keep your teeth as you get older.
Researchers are also discovering new reasons to brush and floss. A healthy mouth may help you ward off medical disorders. The flip side? An unhealthy mouth, especially if you have gum disease, may increase your risk of serious health problems such as heart attack, stroke, poorly controlled diabetes and preterm labor.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST DENTIST IN THE WORLD!! Over the years I have been to MULTIPLE different dentists who have RUINED my teeth more then they actually helped them!! The last dentist I was at before Dr. Lafayette could care less about his patients and BUTCHERED my teeth beyond repair, or so I thought. Dr. Lafayette has fully transformed my once disgusting smile into something beautiful that I can finally be proud of! He is so sweet, VERY caring and takes the time to listen to his patients about EVERYTHING! His staff is so wonderful as well!! I have YET to have a bad experience with this office since I've been going here, their all absolutely wonderful, caring, helping and so so sweet!! Trust me this beautiful smile did not come without MULTIPLE visits sometimes twice a week. I can't say enough good things about this AMAZING team who truly cares about you and does everything they can to make sure you leave comfortable and happy. DO NOT waste your time and effort with anyone else because what I have experienced over the last 6 years is there truly is NO ONE better then Dr. Lafayette and his amazing team!! I PROMISE you will never want another dentist after you experience these wonderful souls and their amazing talents. I was absolutely NOT paid for this review I truly am so happy and will continue to come to this office over anywhere else!

Dr Lafayette is a great dentist, he will truly listen to you, and not talk over you. His prices are extremely affordable, and he is very quick. I'm excited to have him as my dentist now.

Dr. LaFayette took my bottom wisdom teeth out about 2 weeks ago and everything went perfect. The procedure was flawlessly executed and I had no issues after. Dr. LaFayette and his staff are wonderful and I highly recommend going there!

I have bad anxiety about the dentist from previous experiences at other dentist offices. Dr.LaFayette and his staff always make me feel comfortable! They are sweet and try their best to accommodate what is best for you. I would recommend Dr.LaFayette to anyone and everyone!! If you're afraid or have anxiety about the dentist (like myself) you won't after you visit him and his team

My 1st visit was to just assess my problem and they were very nice. Today I go and get a fill in and I'm nervous cause I'm terrified of needles. The shots you have to get to numb the area have always hurt me so bad at my old dentist so I'm really nervous about today. Im so scared of needles!
