Upon graduating with honors at the top of his class he was given scholarships and advanced standing at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he received his MD degree.

During his 6-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency, Dr. Betita received the highest level of training in oral surgery with an emphasis on full-arch dental implants, facial reconstruction, jaw surgery and the entire spectrum of TMJ procedures from conservative therapies to full joint replacements. He has specialized training and experience in pediatric anesthesia, adult anesthesia and geriatric anesthesia.

In his current practice, Dr. Betita takes great pride in changing lives with a smile. He has expertise in full-arch dental implant smile designs and is able to give patients a second chance at life. He is thrilled to guide patients through this very special and personal process. Dr. Betita has a robust TMJ practice. One of Dr. Betitas strongest qualities is his desire to serve. In 2009, he founded and currently directs a nonprofit organization called Pillars Foundation with the mission to bring dental services, medical services and education to communities throughout the world. He has led many missions to various countries in Latin America and changed the lives of thousands of women, children and infants. The procedures performed range from oral hygiene and instruction to corrective jaw surgeries and cleft lip and palate surgeries.

Dr. Betita is married to his wonderful wife, Emily. They have 4 beautiful children who keep them very busy with activities. His family enjoys playing sports together and being active in the community. The Betitas love adventuring in nature and meeting new friends.

During dental school, Dr. Betita founded and is the past President and current Chief Medical Officer of Pillars Foundation. Based out of California, the organization is designed to bring medical and dental care to poor communities both domestic and abroad. Dr. Betita has used Pillars Foundation to lead several medical and dental excursions to various remote areas of the world where there is little to no access to healthcare.

Dr. Baker earned his D.D.S. degree from the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco, graduating at the top of his class. He was elected into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon, Phi Kappa Phi and Tau Kappa Omega honor societies. He was also the sole member of his graduating class to be honored by the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons with the award for Excellence in Oral Surgery.

Dr. Baker then received his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, a top-ranked medical school. Dr. Baker remained in Dallas to complete a much sought-after residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the esteemed Parkland program. During this time he received training in Anesthesiology, General Surgery, and Neurosurgery. In his 6 year residency program, Dr. Baker was exposed to some of the most complex cases and highest volume of any oral surgery program in the world. Dr. Baker received extensive training in minimally invasive TMJ surgery, Microsurgery for Nerve Repair, and Dental Implant surgery. He is one of the only surgeons in the country to offer surgical Arthroscopy of the TMJ.

Haley has had over 6 years in Administration, two of which has been in the dental field. She has a love for people and a passion for the patient experience. The highlight of her job is watching people take back their oral health and gain greater confidence in themselves. Haley also has received an associates degree in Communications from Utah Valley University and plans to continue her education to become a Dental Hygienist in the near future. In her spare time, she loves Design, road trips and spending time with her husband, David and their beagle-lab mix.

Julianne has been in the dental field for over 10 years with experience in Oral Surgery, Periodontal and General Dentistry. She graduated from The American Institute of Dental Assisting in 2007. She has a strong background in dental insurance billing and human resources. She prides herself on showing honesty, dedication and integrity to our patients, team and the community. As our leader she wants everyone to succeed by helping patients achieve the highest level of care. Julianne enjoys the California weather, hiking, traveling, weight lifting and her two adorable Yorkies Brody and Lexi.

Mary is a registered Dental Assistant and Licensed Oral Maxillofacial Assistant. Mary has been in the dental industry for 20 years and with Niguel Coast Oral & Facial Surgery for over 9 years. Her favorite part of her job is putting the patient at ease and making sure the patient leaves feeling much better than when they came in. She enjoys watching the patients progress from start to finish with a new beautiful smile. When she isnt assisting Dr. Baker saving smiles one tooth at a time, she enjoys throwing family parties in her backyard and exploring the world.

Shana has been an LVN for 14 years and is ACLS certified. She prides herself on making patients as relaxed and comfortable as possible. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her fianc and her two adorable rescue dogs.

Sydney received her bachelors in Exercise Physiology from Cal State Fullerton. After experience in sales from ADP, she got into the dental field as a Straumann Implant Rep in South Orange County in 2016. She spent the time at Straumann supporting the specialists and general dentists in the area through continuing education for clinicians and their teams. She supports the local community with staff training, Continuing education Courses, and is the liaison between offices. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, mountain biking, and anything outdoors with her boyfriend and pup.

Michelle has been a Certified Oral Surgery assistant for many years. Always smiling and happy to do her job she is willing to jump in and help out wherever she is needed. Michelle is very skilled as our Back office manager and implant coordinator; we couldnt do it without her. Her outside interests include planning themed parties, weekend trips and spending time with friends and family.
