I got my Iconix braces at Epps Ortho today. I really liked Dr. Epps and the girl that put them on. It was a nice atmosphere, quick and easy. I recommend them for braces.

I got my braces put on last fall and the results so far have been amazing! I'm only a year into my treatment and already love how my teeth are looking. I had a lot of crowding and was worried I may need to have some teeth pulled but they used damon brackets and they are working great. The staff is really friendly and knowledgable and Dr. Epps really knows his stuff. The office is clean and comfortable and they have all kind of new equipment I haven't seen in other offices. I would definitely recommend Epps to anybody looking for a good orthodontist that won't charge you an arm and a leg.

I really need to share the experience I just had as a new patient at Epps Orthodontics! I am in my 20's and I had braces in highschool from a different ortho office, but I wasn't mature enough to keep up with my retainers at that age. Recently I have noticed minor shifting in my front two teeth and bottom teeth that isn't noticeable to others, but I can feel it and see it so it has been really bothering me. We love to pick ourselves apart unfortunately. I immediately thought about Invisalign knowing nothing about it. I got a couple consultations with offices in Columbia and I really felt like I was getting taken advantage of financially because I wasn't educated on my options. I have heard of Epps Office so I decided to go in for one more chance on a consultation at a new office. Guys...every single person I came in contact with from the front desk to the person doing my scans, to Dr. Epps himself..were all so comforting and genuine. They gave me all of my options and helped me tremendously financially by explaining that I didn't need Invisalign because my shifting was so minor, they gave me an option of "in office trays" where they have a machine that isn't very common for an office in our area to have that can print out retainer trays that are 100% made by them to shift my teeth over time to exactly how I want them. Of course they were more than willing to provide me Invisalign if I was set on it, but they told me it wasn't 100% necessary. I am so excited and so grateful. They did a scan day of my consultation and I will be starting with my first set of trays soon! I 100% recommend Epps Orthodontics, usually people come on google reviews to complain, not to praise. Good deeds usually go unnoticed, but really take my advice and understand that you don't have to have major teeth imperfections in order for them to get corrected. Big or small insecurities they seem to have the equipment and solutions with the ability to work with you financially. Sorry this is so long, I am just really really happy with my experience and needed to share! special thank to Dr. Epps, Jessi, Dolores and the extremely kind and gorgeous woman who did all of my scan! I will get her name next time :)

Some are friendly and pleasant. However, there are other issues that would cause me to never recommend the practice. First, the scheduling team is horrible at making appointments, & that's when you can get an appointment. They will actually miss scheduling you for a six week tighten & blame it on the amount of patients they have. Or schedule you for a random day & time & expect for you to be there. Most adults are working during the day, so appointments should be discussed prior to ensure workable for both parties. Secondly, they do not care about the appearance of the teeth after braces are removed. They will leave gaps! I know several people whose had to get braces again. My treatment plan is almost over and I still have several gaps. Dr. Epps response was "it's the natural shape of my teeth!" I strongly disagree! More like, they don't care! They just want your money! Lastly, while undergoing treatment they don't explain to you what's going on with your treatment or take routine X-rays to ensure the teeth are doing as they should. They line everyone up in a chair like a sweat shop do the braces & tell you go to the front to pay. You have no idea where you are in the treatment process. Go elsewhere! Sometimes cheaper is not always better. Sorry for the long review, but I hope this helps you make a decision when considering orthodontist.

Ordered Invisalign through Epps, and the process was okay at the beginning although they schedule me to complete payment before I completed treatment. Predictably, now that they have been paid the total the office's commitment to the treatment has been lackadaisical. Several times they have insisted the assistants apply buttons/ brackets, and each time I have had to return to get it repaired within a week. I am writing this review because the straw has finally broken the camel's back when I explained to them that I need to fix a bracket, they scheduled my appointment, and I drive 1 hour each way to go to the office only to have them tell me that the dentist only does "emergencies" that day. WHY SCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT THEN??? The dentist is rarely in the office which makes scheduling the treatment difficult. They don't plan what you will do ahead of time. It feels like they wait for you to show up to discuss what you will do during that visit. Sometimes they don't even know what is in my mouth! I expect them to open a chart and review my treatment plan. I expect them to afford me a little leeway with rescheduling since they keep messing up the work and I am driving over an hour to get to the office. The disconnect between the front desk, the assistants, and the dentist has made this whole process more difficult than it needs to be. Their communication and foresight has delayed this so much I am getting frustrated and counting down the days to finish and move on with my life.

Yeah they seem nice or whatever but when it comes time to take your braces off they don't care about any details. I got my braces off and asked him to make my two front teeth the same length and instead he filed it too short and just reversed the problem. He can't fix it because if he files the other tooth to the same size my two front teeth would be so small so now I have to have one of my front teeth looking stupid. I paid 7,000 for my braces and I hate my teeth because of how he filed it. Not to mention all of my bottom teeth are still crowded. I waited almost 3 years to get my braces off and now I'm more ashamed of my teeth than I was before :(

I was a patient here from 2008 up until 2014. 12 years old until 18... They were always friendly here, and kept the same staff for years. Mrs. Loretta is the sweetest lady ever. She always made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Epps is nice also. The wait times were short ! I hated that when I was a student haha... i was out of there in less than an hour, and back to school with a sore mouth. LOL.Once I find a good job I will be coming back here. My bottom teeth shifted after I lost my retainers, and I never had the money to get more. Everything else is still perfect. I always get compliments on my teeth ! Thanks... Dr.Bridges/ and Epps... may Dr Bridges rest in peace

The staff is friendly. However, insurance claims take months to be processed (untimely and antiquated...by mail). Perhaps this office should determine if electronic submittal of insurance claims is practical (economical/save time and money-envelopes, postage, etc.). It certainly would improve customer service!
