Epperson Orthodontics is a patient-centered practice, and as the only full-time orthodontist in Springfield, Oregon, Dr. Epperson takes pride in his work and in bringing beautiful new smiles to his patients faces.

We are a boutique, lower-volume orthodontic practice, which means we make sure you get the time you need to make your treatment exactly what you want. Your individual comfort and safety are our top priorities, and your voice is always heard. When we focus on our patients desires and needs, we achieve better results.
As a small business, we understand the importance of community! Epperson Orthodontics is privately owned and operated, and our team members are all local. We live in and love this area, and we are invested in the success of our patients and our town. We are so proud to be able to able to lift and support the people around us, one smile at a time.
I completed my undergraduate studies in biology at Snow College and at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas (UNLV). While attending Snow College, I met a beautiful girl who later became my wife. I attended the UNLV School of Dental Medicine, graduating summa cum laude in 2012 with my Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
Following dental school, I moved to Eugene, Oregon, to practice general dentistry and fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. I practiced as a general dentist for 2 years and became intrigued by orthodontics during my own orthodontic treatment. I then pursued specialty training and attended Louisiana State University for my Certificate in Orthodontics and Maxillofacial Orthopedics, where I received an additional 2 years of specialized post-graduate training. While attending LSU, I also completed my Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) degree. I take continuing education courses with regards to Invisalign, growth modification, standard edgewise orthodontic mechanics, and other treatment methods three to four times each year to ensure that I am on the leading edge of orthodontic treatment, and aware of the newest and most comfortable ways to deliver exceptional smiles.
My goal as an orthodontist goes far beyond simply delivering straight smiles. My mission is to encourage people to do the things that inspire them. I believe that helping people feel better about themselves and achieve the confidence to pursue their dreams through a great smile is an amazing thing to do each day. I love my job because I enjoy interacting with people and building lifelong friendships. Transforming lives by empowering others to find self-confidence, balance, fulfillment, and true joy is my ultimate goal.
I am a father of four girls, and absolutely love it! I consider myself the luckiest man in the world because I have had my best friend, Aubrie, by my side since we married in 2005. I love being outdoors and enjoy running (and have recently gotten into trail running), hiking, and camping. I also enjoy CrossFit, GoRuck, softball, golf, and anything that allows me to be outside. My family is my life, and my true happiness comes from the relationships I have with them and with the many amazing members of the Springfield/Thurston community.
Stephanie Lead Assistant Stephanie recently moved back to Oregon from Washington and has over 25 years of orthodontic assisting experience. She is glad to have found an office that is so personable and has a family-like atmosphere. Stephanie was born and raised in the Eugene area. She has a daughter, Mallory, and a stepdaughter, Sophie. She and her husband, Randy, enjoy riding ATVs on the coast and taking road trips.
Trina joined us in September 2018. She loves being a part of our team and community, and seeing familiar faces come into the office. Trina is friendly, kind and caring, and goes the extra mile to make sure things run smoothly for both our patients and our staff.
Trina grew up in the McKenzie River area and loves living and working in the Springfield community. She and her husband, Chris, have three children, Alexa, Jordyn and Wade, as well as a dog named Toby. She enjoys being active in the outdoors and taking trips to new places with her family. She also enjoys reading, writing, home improvement, design, and embarrassing her children.

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Epperson or the staff! I just got my braces off at 27 and I am so incredibly happy with the results! I got my braces on at 25 after putting it off for years. But I can now confidently say I'm so very happy I did it! I never thought I would have such a beautiful smile and the few health issues I was suffering such as constant head aches and teeth grinding seem to have been fixed due to my teeth being in proper alignment. And working with Dr. Epperson was an absolute pleasure! If my children ever need orthodontic care we will definitely be going back to Epperson Orthodontics!

The office staff are all very knowledgeable and friendly. They are able to help on short notice. The clinic is beautiful and perfectly clean. I also like being the only client each time I have an appointment.

Dr. Epperson took the time to explain what needed to happen for my daughter's care and why. His assistant was extremely patient, as was Dr. Epperson while putting on my daughter's braces. Overall we've had great experiences with this office.

Hello all, I just moved to Oregon and was in Search of a Orthodontist. I tell you what i have found a grate one! my braces journey was not to say uneventful by any means. I started my braces journey in North Dakota and moved to Montana, a few months after having them put on and now i am here. It's definitely hard these days to find good business that truly care about what they do or how they treat there customers/patients. I was vary impressed with the care that I received at this Epperson Orthopedics. They went above and beyond to help me in any way they could. I called the office and explained the situation that I had and they got me in right away, Removed my braces and formed my retainers in the same day with quality! The ladys in the office are extremely nice! DR Epperson is the best Orthodontist that i have been to yet. I would definitely recommend this Orthodontist to anyone that needs braces/treatment. They definitely know how to keep you smiling forever! Thank you Epperson Orthopedics!

Our son's dentist recommended Dr Epperson to us for a braces evaluation and I'm so glad he did. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The office is beautiful and welcoming. All the staff are very friendly and they made sure to explain everything in a non-intimidating way for my son, who was very nervous about getting braces. I really appreciate the attention to detail and care for the patients that everyone showed us.

Orthodontic needs into your adulthood can be quite frustrating, and an uneasy process to move towards. This was my third office I visited for a consultation and I can tell you that I was not only greeted with kindness but thoroughness during the entire consultation. Dr. Epperson gave me a break down of my options and explained my outcomes of each. They offer in house financing for the balance not covered by insurance. Cleanly atmosphere, welcoming staff.
