We also perform routine spore testing through an independent third-party laboratory to ensure that all of our sterilization equipment is functioning as designed. Dr. Saba Khan is a Periodontal & Dental Implant specialist serving patients in the Chicago and NW suburbs. She has been successfully placing implants since 2005, and is an expert in delivering the popular All-on-4 procedure, both as a collaborating specialist and the primary provider. She is unique among her colleagues- a faculty member at University of Chicago- Illinois (UIC), College of Dentistry, since 2007, in the Periodontics department, working with post-graduate periodontal residents. In this capacity, she both evaluates, implements and supervises students in both traditional and state-of-the-art periodontal therapies and dental implant procedures. Dr. Khan is a Diplomate of American Board of Periodontology & Dental Implants, a status achieved by only one/third of other Periodontist & Dental Implant Specialists.

She serves as a Clinical Professor in the Periodontics Department at the University of Illinois, School of Dentistry in a postgraduate residency program since 2007. During her time at UIC, she has also served as the Program Director of Postgraduate Periodontics.

Dr. Khan regularly attends continuing education courses to keep up with the latest in dental implantology, bone, and soft tissue grafting, and facial aesthetics. She is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Midwest Society of Periodontology, Illinois Society of Periodontology, and American Dental Association.

She has a genuine love for people, and she takes time to build meaningful relationships with all of her patients as she guides them to a lifetime of smiles! Her outstanding skills allow her to provide patients with outcomes that are both beautiful and functional.

Dr. Khan lives in Morton Grove and is happily married to Mazhar Khan who is an engineer by profession. Shes also a proud mother to her sons, Mubashir and Ibrahim. In her spare time, she loves to stay involved with her community, go hiking, bicycling, and spending time with her family.

I have worked in dentistry since 2013 and have practiced in numerous fields. Working in a general dental office to an orthodontist and now Ive truly found the field/office where Ive found my passion in perio. I truly find it fascinating and I enjoy going over and beyond the care of every patient I see. One of my favorite parts of my job is providing patients the experience of good dental care and the feeling of a great smile. I love getting to know my patients and building longterm relationships. Originally Im from San Antonio, Texas but resides in South Barrington with my partner and three children. I enjoy hanging out with my family, watching movies, riding bikes, and attending a ridiculous amount of travel baseball games.
