Dr. A is proud to have been practicing comprehensive dentistry in Carrollton for nearly 20 years. A graduate of the Texas A&M College of Dentistry, he loves that he gets to help improve peoples health, appearance, and confidence every single day. His favorite parts about coming to work is getting to collaborate with a team he truly respects and challenging himself to perform dental procedures to the best of his ability.
Despite his decades of real-world experience, Dr. A is constantly seeking to expand his knowledge and skillset through continuing education, which has led him to taking specialized training in implant dentistry (both placement and restoration), dental sleep solutions, and Chao Pinhole gum surgery. This dedication, along with his active membership in the American Dental Association, led him to be nominated as one of Americas Best Dentists in both 2015 and 2016!
Away from the dental office, Dr. A likes to spend his free time with his wife and two beautiful children, ages 14 and 12, attending their sporting events whenever he can. He considers himself a movie-buff, and he always likes learning more about computers and history.
Dr. Shin has a steady hand and performs every aspect of dentistry including complicated procedures such as root canal therapy, implant dentistry, and wisdom teeth extractions. He is also skilled at cosmetic dentistry procedures like veneer treatments aimed at improving patients smiles. Dr. Moses Shin completed his undergraduate degree in engineering at Sung-Kyun-Kwan University in Seoul, South Korea. He worked as a researcher with Samsung Electronics for two years before coming to the US in 2001 to pursue a masters degree at the University of Southern California. Dr. Shin moved to Ann Arbor in 2003 and enrolled in the Ph.D. program in mechanical engineering at the University of Michigan. In his second year in the program, however, he decided to switch to dentistry because he realized how much he loved helping people. He attended Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA, and graduated with a DMD degree.
Two basic principles guide Dr. Shins practice: his patients should leave his office with better smiles, and they should be comfortable during the procedures. He devotes a lot of time and effort to continue his education, improving his abilities and learning about the latest dental technologies so that he can fulfill these principles. This is what makes Dr. Shin such a successful dentist. He loves what he is doing, and he is a warmhearted professional who treats patients like they are his own family.
Dr. Shin has completed the implant course through the Hiossen Education Program, and to date, he has personally placed more than 300 implants and can also perform socket preservation/bone graft surgeries. He has provided several full mouth reconstructions and has experience with pediatric dentistry and periodontal therapy as well.
Dr. Shin lives in Frisco with his wife, Grace Yang, Ph.D., and their daughter, Loc Lily. He sings at his church and is an accomplished tenor, plus he also plays piano and guitar. On the weekends, he enjoys playing golf and tennis.

I have been going to Epic for two years now. I come twice a year and they always do a great job cleaning my teeth. They are fast and friendly and were also accommodating while I was pregnant.

I busted my teeth on a Friday night. I called around and Epic was able to get me in first thing on Saturday! The dentist even has a flight to catch but squeezed me in anyway! I have switched to using them as my main dentist because I was so well taken care of. Shout out to Marissa who has calmed me down more than once while going through root canals and new front teeth. She always helped make me feel more calm and now I have pretty new teeth! Highly recommend!

This office is amazing!! Always have a great, smooth experience here. The staff is friendly, respectful, caring and courteous of your time. The office is run very smoothly and efficiently. I had an issue with an insurance claim and Katie did a wonderful job of following up and ensuring it would get taken care of. Definitely recommend!

8/18/2022 1 star rating When I called to schedule an appointment I was on hold for over 20 minutes without anyone coming to check on me. Grayson said the office manager was occupied and when I told her my issues, she did not show any empathy I still decided to book an appointment and days before , I needed to reschedule, so I used an option to text . No one responded back to me when I disclosed and I continue to get confirmations of an upcoming appointment that I already expressed I wouldn't arrive to. The morning of, I continued to receive messages so as a courtesy, I sent the same text message again, the person texted back not acknowledging my previous messages. Grayson had an unprofessional demeanor and said I would be charged $25. I asked to speak with the office manager, Marissa. I found out about this office because I followed Marissa from a previous dental practice. Marissa came on the phone and I immediately knew she was on the side of Grayson because of her tone. I asked her to verify my insurance to make the visit easier on everybody and she told me it will be a waste of time to review my insurance to make sure that everything will be covered upon my visit. Because I was treated as If my business wasn't important, I decided to no longer come to this practice. I do not feel valued as a customer. I feel they were very unprofessional and I highly recommend that they go through customer service training . 2021: 5 star rating Katie , Marissa , Dr Danyli , Moses were all nice and efficient , they explained everything to me and had me in and out . I love the equipment and personal experience they gave me and I will definitely return .
