Doctor Christopher Patterson is a Colorado native that grew up in a small town near Boulder, Colorado. His lovely wife Tara is also a Colorado native and grew up in Littleton. Together they have three beautiful and rowdy sons. As a family they love to travel, ski, and enjoy the Colorado outdoors.
After receiving a Bachelor in Medical Science from the University of Colorado Denver Health Sciences, Doctor Patterson attended the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. During his dental education he completed multiple externships in general practice residency and advanced education in general dentistry programs. He also enjoyed traveling to rural areas with the childrens mobile dental clinic to help the underserved children of Colorado.
Following dental school, Dr. Patterson completed a one year general practice residency at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was at this time he decided to dedicate his life to pediatric dentistry in Aurora. Following his residency in Utah he was mentored for a few years by an amazing and well respected pediatric dentist in Santa Fe, New Mexico. After this mentorship he was accepted to and completed NYU-Lutheran Medical Pediatric Dental Residency at the Tucson Arizona site. This allowed for further instruction in pediatrics and special needs dentistry including; oral surgery, orthodontics, medicine, hospital dentistry, special needs, sedation dentistry, trauma, growth, development, and behavior management.
Additionally, Dr. Patterson later completed his board certification through the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. This special designation is reserved for pediatric dentists that undergo a rigorous testing process to certify their knowledge and training in all aspects of the pediatric dental specialty.
As a parent of three active young boys, he understands the unpredictability of raising children. For this reason he tries to make himself available for those unexpected problems. His dental philosophy centers on creating a dental home where patients feel comfortable and confident that their needs can be met. Additionally, he believes strongly in a preventative and conservative approach to dental care. This approach helps patients and families develop a good attitude toward oral health care that lasts throughout life. He makes sure to answer every question in depth so that patients areeducatedon keeping their mouths healthy.
The addition of Dr. Belegratis allows for most surgical procedures to be completed in our new on-site surgical suite, his training gives him a unique perspective because he not only places implants but restores them as well.
Dr. Belegratis believes that good communication is the key to forming successful relationships with his patients. Itake pride in my rapport with patients and the positive results of my work, Dr. Belegratis said. I discuss the various treatment options with patients, and makethem feel comfortable throughout the entire process.
At Epic Dentistry for Kids, many of us have children of our own, so we face the same concerns and experience the same anxiety as that of our patients and parents. Dr. Patterson and the staff will go that extra mile to ensure that when your child leaves here he or she will remember it as being a positive experience. I appreciate how Dr explains every step to my son before he does it. All the staff has always been friendly and professional, and just treat their patients with care, take their time and answer questions I have. My son has come a long way from just sitting in the chair and not wanting to be down flat, to now no problems. They always worked with him to make him comfortable and if it took a little extra time they never seemed bothered. Thank you! I so appreciate you all!

My son had oral surgery here today. We are new patients to this office and we have received nothing but the best care from the staff here. Dr Patterson is wonderful, he knows what he is doing and does what is necessary to keep his patients comfortable throughout their procedures. I am so thankful for them!

Finally! The search for a dentist for our son has been a long and painful process. But Dr. Patterson and the entire team have put our minds at ease. We are confident that we will be able to get compassionate and consistent dental care based on our first 2 appointments. Today my son had to have 4 baby teeth pulled and be anesthetized for his first comprehensive cleaning and xrays of his life (he joined our family through international adoption in 2017). Dr. Patterson answered our questions and recommended a 3 sided toothbrush that we think will greatly help our son's dental hygiene habits. He has sensory challenges and is autistic, and Dr. Patterson is truly skilled at meeting our neurodivergent child's needs. We also appreciated the ethnic diversity in the waiting room. It appears to be a very safe and inclusive space. Thank you!!

Even though my kid cried at the dentist because he was nervous around new people, they didn't mind at all. Everyone was so nice from the beginning and they made us feel at home. Check in was so easy. The facility is very clean, organized, and nice. The doctor was great!! Everyone was so patient. 10/10 would recommend. We will never switch to anyone else.

Epic dentistry for kids is amazing!! Dr. Patterson is just awesome. He was so patient with my young son and talked him through every step of the procedure. My older children appreciate him too. The techs there are so kind and helpful. Such a nice change from one of the bigger dental chains we have been to.

This place is fantastic! The personnel is respectful, punctual, and kind. The place is organized, clean, and has a friendly environment for kids. Making an appointment is easy, and one doesn't go on waiting lists. My child has gone to different dentists. She loved her last one, but we had to move. Fortunately, we found Dr. Patterson. He gave my child confidence with his professionalism.

We have been trying to get my 6 year old's cavity filled for the past year. We have been to two other dentists and they couldn't (or wouldn't) get it done. They don't even compare to this office!! I had all 3 of my littles seen at the same time and it was a breeze. My middle has a trach and gtube and he was so understanding and patient. 10/10 recommended!!

This place is amazing. From the staff and dentist to how clean the facility is. My kids love it there! I live in Highlands Ranch and I commute to Aurora just for this dentist office. Parents, I promise you won't be dissatisfied. Your kidos will love it too, the decor makes it more fun for them and the tv on the ceiling helps lol

GREAT PLACE!!!! I was extremely pleased with the care and experience Epic Dentistry provided for my two girls ages 3 and 7. My oldest suffers from anxiety and the staff and dentist from start to finish made us all feel comfortable and taken care of!!! My daughter says she LOVES the dentist now and I am forever grateful to Doctor Patterson and his staff.
