Stephany | Office Manager Stephany has been a dental office manager since she moved to Washington in 2017 from Vancouver Island. She loves being a part of the Envisia family and has a real passion for dentistry and helping our patients set up the treatments that they need. Stephany also helps our practice to run smoothly and efficiently by making sure our team has everything needed to perform successful treatments. In her spare time, when shes not in Canada visiting her kids and new granddaughter, Stephany enjoys art and pursues photography and photo editing as a hobby.
Avah | Dental Assistant Avah works alongside Dr. Bob and ensures that our patients feel comfortable throughout their entire treatment process and can answer any questions they may have about their procedure. She is a trained registered dental assistant, graduating from NW Technical and Career Academy. She stays current with continuing dental education classes- a commitment she takes seriously to helping patients maintain their dental health. Patients appreciate her gentle and compassionate bedside manner. When not at the office, Avah and her partner Garrett love spending time outdoors hiking or snowboarding and enjoying time with Waffles and Nuni, their dog and cat.
Jeannette | Dental Hygienist Jeannette is a native of California who moved to Bellingham in 2007 after graduating from hygiene school and has worked in private practice full time ever since. We are thrilled to have Jeannette as a part of our team radiating her positive vibes. No dark clouds in her presence! She is an outdoor enthusiast and the most amazing Mom to her 11-year-old daughter.
Rebecca moved from Idaho to Bellingham in 2018. She has a graduate degree in dental hygiene and had been teaching dental hygiene at Easter Washington and Idaho State University for several years. With 20+ years in dentistry, she strives to provide the highest standard of care. She loves spending time outdoors with her family riding electric bikes and hiking.
In August of 2019, Dr. Hanson retired his bowtie and handed it over to his longtime colleague and fellow veteran Bellingham dentist, Dr. Robert Knudson. He continues to carry on the great tradition of dental craftsmanship and joins a well-established team with high standards of excellence that clients have come to expect and trust.
Envisia founder, Dr. Hanson, started his practice in Bellingham in 1971. Over the course of nearly 5 decades he built one of the premier dentistry facilities in the region and assembled a staff known for their expertise, knowledge, quality, and care.
Envisia remains a state of the art facility at the forefront of dental technology with a growing team of professionals to ensure you receive the very best, most advanced, and most comfortable experience in dental care. Dr Robert Knudson is an amazing orthodontist, he helped me get my teeth straighten and aligned, super happy with the result. I also refered 2 of my friends and they are all happy about the final outcome. Today I am done with the last piece with confidence in my smile. Thanks Dr Robert and all the staff at Envisia !

Dr Bob and everyone on staff are kind, gentle, and thoughtful as they care for each patient. Going to the dentist can be scary but this clinic makes it a peaceful experience... even fun!

I'm so happy I got a second opinion here. Awesome staff! Dr Robert Knudson is very personable and did a great job explaining the Invisalign process. I decided to go ahead and get Invisalign. Bonus that it was thousands $$$ cheaper than the other place I went, no shade to them, I just really liked Envisia! I'll try to remember to update in a year when my teeth are perfect.

Dr. Bob is the ONLY dentist I've ever trusted. He is so kind, caring, and patient. Both myself and my gf had significant issues after our wisdom tooth removal and he went out of his way to make sure he saw us and that we were okay despite being busy. Dr.Bob at Envisia is the best!! I needed to find a different dentist after mine retired. I have quite the dental phobia, and finding someone who is understanding AND accommodating isn't easy. Fortunately a friend told me about Dr. Bob. First of all, every person I've dealt with has been understanding and gentle. Second, and maybe most importantly, they have nitrous and aren't afraid to use it!! Time for an exam and cleaning? Nitrous please! Having a procedure, big or small? Get comfy with the nitrous before Dr. Bob even comes in! Whether you have dental phobia or not, this is a great office with kind and extremely knowledgeable people! If you're looking for a new dentist, I'd definitely suggest giving Envisia Lifestyle Dentistry, and Dr. Bob, a try!
