Dr. Kevin Ensley is a native of the Portland area. He graduated cum laude from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) Dental School in 1989. He then conducted his general dentistry residency at St. Josephs Hospital in Denver, Colorado. After completing his orthodontic residency at OHSU in 1991, Dr. Ensley launched Ensley Orthodontics.
Continuing education is a priority for Dr. Ensley. Each year, he invests three times the required hours in special courses and training. He investigates advanced orthodontic treatments like the Damon Bracket mechanics and studies more efficient methods in orthodontics.
Dr. Ensley is an expert in utilizing the Invisalign system and trains other dental professionals in its use. He is deeply committed to providing advanced aesthetics and using technological advances with Invisalign treatment.
He invests significant time training in occlusion courses. Dr. Kevin Ensley also stays current with industry standards by regularly studying a number of medical and orthodontic journals. He provides leadership by participating in regional and local orthodontic study groups and boards.
