Dr. Ochoa followed his father's steps and graduated with a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry in 1990. He passed the Florida boards in 1991 to open his first practice at Camelot Dental in Cape Coral, Florida.
He continued his education in 2004 through the University of Miami where he trained to place dental implants, bone grafting, sinus lift procedures, (PRP) Plasma Rich Protein, nerve repositioning and other surgical techniques.
Doctor Ochoa has also been involved as you may remember in power boat racing. His team Zero Cavity became APBA World Champions in 2003. He and his team worked with Make A Wish Foundation and others to bring children hope, inspiration, as well as helping them raise money for their cause.

Best dental staff hands down. Made me feel very comfortable during my procedure, all the staff is very very nice and understanding. Dr. Ochoa was awesome and very informative and listened to my concerns and was sweet about everything. Never had a dental visit make me feel at ease and good the way they all did after coming here HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!!

Great Staff, very personable and they work with you. Hard to Find a great Dentist, Dr Ochoa is Friendly, very knowledgable and caring . I recommend this dentist and I'm particular. Listen, no one wants to go to the dentist, but if you must try Dr Ochoa.

DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE....Billing manager cannot keep records straight or submit claims to insurance company. Remainder of office staff is rude and makes you feel unwelcome. Staff tries to add unnecessary procedures on to make money. There is a nice hygienist that unfortunately works for a rotten practice.

Another Florida dentist who tries to rip off their patients. We thought this dentist was different, than Town Dental and all of the dentists in Florida who try to tell every family member they need a deep gum cleaning or they have periodontal disease, but they are not. They told my son (who was 22 at the time) that he needed a deep cleaning - since he was young and did not know he told them to go ahead. He had just seen our dentist up north 8 months prior and he had no gum issues ... this is the scam they all are running! They've told me I have periodontal disease - my dentists up north never told me this, and it's hard to believe them when you know they already scammed your child. Just sad!

The best dentist I've been in Florida. Dr. Ochoa went beyond my expectations after I talked to him regardless my previous experience in those big dentist corporations, I set up an appointment and he and his staff made me feel I was the only patient in the whole Cape Coral, no long wait and the front desk girl super nice and smiley. They don't have you waiting with your mouth open for two hours like others places I've been. Dr. Ochoa explained everything in detail and he works with such an expertise that you won't feel anything, Rosy the dental assistant was super sweet and kind too as well as the front desk lady. I'm very satisfied with my root canal and at first I was terrified. A friend who works on the health care business one day told me , you want to see how an medical office works? Pay attention to the front desk and their staff I can assure you it's true! Thank you Dr. Ochoa. Looking forward for my next cleaning appointment.

From the beginning this was not a good experience. Just making the appointment with the rudest receptionist was difficult as she argued my insurance coverages, until my insurance had to call HER because she wouldn't listen. I should have took that as a sign to not go here but I was referred, so I gave them a chance. Then the hygienist took terrible X-rays that my next dentist couldn't even use. They took another type of X-ray and coded it a way that I had to pay out of pocket. Then the doctor inspected my broken and decayed molar and said he could halfway extract it and rebuild it. !!!?! What!!? First of all that's expensive. Second, it wouldn't last long. Third, I bet my insurance wouldn't cover that!! My next dentist was shocked when I told HER (never going to a male dr again..) what he recommended. Then he made some inappropriate comment/"joke" about me not being on birth control so then it would obvious that he would be the baby daddy!!?! Or something to that effect. I didn't even get the joke. And I was so appalled. My worst nightmare. I've seen lifetime movies. I know what can happen under any anesthesia. Then to top it all off I didn't even get my cleaning that I had asked for in the appointment. Overall terrible experience! They even had to charge me $6 for the visit when it was supposed to be 100% covered with my insurance. They nickel and dime you and are just looking for money and not even doing their jobs right. I couldn't even make this stuff up. Stay the heck away!!!
