Having grown up in Hillsborough, Dr. Latta couldnt think of anywhere better to start a dental practice! She completed her undergraduate studies in Evolutionary Anthropology at Duke University and then made the long trek 8 miles down the road to attend dental school at UNC. After obtaining her DDS degree, Dr. Latta moved to Portland, Oregon to complete a 1-year general practice residency at the Veterans Affairs hospital expanding her skills while treating former military members. While the Pacific Northwest is gorgeous, North Carolina was calling her home and she has been practicing in the Triangle ever since!
When not at the office, Dr. Latta can be found exploring everything the Triangle (and the world) has to offer. She adores her two mischievous cats, Maverick and Ragnar, who were definitely dogs in their past life. Dr. Latta also has a knack for puzzles, baking, and hand-lettering.
Dr. Latta has many fond memories of her hometown from Hog Day to adventures at Camp Chestnut Ridge, eating at the Colonial Inn to ice skating (somewhat poorly) at the Sportsplex. She has enjoyed seeing the influx of new local businesses and restaurants to Hillsborough and is excited to become an integral part of the local community! These days youll likely find her walking along the Riverwalk, downing some food at Hillsborough BBQ, or catching a beautiful sunset at Maple View (okay, shes there for the ice cream too).
While our office is stunning (we are slightly biased but see below for proof), what we pride ourselves on the most is our emphasis on bettering the local community. We recognize that our local businesses and residents are the heartbeat of our community and none of us can thrive if we fail to support each other! Dentistry has come a long way in the past few decades! Were easily able to take low-dose checkup x-rays and 3D images. With our intraoral cameras, were able to show you exactly what we see with our crazy-looking glasses so you can see what we see, for better or for worse. No interest in what your teeth look like? No problem, weve got ceiling TVs to keep you distracted! We could go on and on, but come see for yourself what sets us apart from the rest.

Just a wonderful staff!! I came in due to a cracked tooth, the dental assistant was so great from start to finish. When I met with the dentist, she provided a plan of action for my tooth. They worked with me on a payment plan so I can get it fixed, this is the best dental office I've ever seen! I'll need a crown for my tooth and the best part everything can be done right in the office, no waiting for the permanent to come in! I'll never go anywhere else to get my teeth fixed!

Where to begin? From the moment I called to make an appointment, I knew this place was top-notch. The front desk was kind, helpful, patient and knowledgable. The office was like no other dental office. It's more like you've entered a spa! Beautifully done down to every detail! Everyone there is so pleasant and eager to help. It's clear this starts at the top. Dr. Lau is as kind and compassionate as she is intelligent. And as if that isn't enough, they are clearly dog and cat lovers, as they have dental dog/cat treats in their freebie area!

The staff was friendly and professional which made me feel very comfortable while at the dentist office today. My hygienist was Karsen who provided complete information for all procedures during my appointment. Dr. Lau discussed with me any findings post exam. I'm happy I found this Dental office so close to home and more importantly, a pleasant environment with a caring staff.

After 2.5 years of mostly working from home, I finally decided it was time to switch dentists and stop driving to Durham for my appointments. My husband has been going to Eno River Dental for a year or two and at his recommendation I made the switch. I am so glad that I did! The office is lovely and clean. The staff are so kind and welcoming. And they even offer tea and coffee station to use while you wait or after your visit. My favorite part is the pick-what-you-need dental goodie section. They even offer dental chews for your cats and dogs! I would definitely recommend Eno River Dental.

The BEST dentist I have ever had in my life. I am actually excited to go to the dentist. From front desk all the way to the dentists, everyone is so genuine and kind and I have never been shamed or in pain like I have by past dentists. I can't recommend this place enough!

Excellent services, the dentist's assistants are so kind and always helpful, an excellent cleaning and the environment is feel like you are in your house, since the receptionist to the dentist and asistents I don't have word, now my base dentist is there, I felt so comfortable.

I've been going to Eno River Dental since they first opened, and have always had good experiences. Today I got my teeth cleaned, and I to say that Raiza is my favorite hygienist so far because she was REALLY THOROUGH!!

Best dental experience I've ever had. Took our family of 5 all at once, and they interlaced our appointments so conveniently, were setup great for adults and kids and truly made us feel like both family and celebrities at the same time. The space is gorgeously designed and completely spotless. Every person we interacted with was thorough, empathetic and smart. So glad we came here! Recommending this place to friends!

Wonderful dental practice. High tech and patient friendly. Front desk staff are alert and intelligent as well as friendly. The dental staff explain what they are doing as they do it. Today was my initial visit. I plan to become a regular. My previous dentist was very good; these folks are better.
