Endodontists are dental specialists with specialized training beyond dental school. An endodontic residency is 2-3 years of additional training andallows a practitioner to learn every facet of providing exceptional care.
On average, endodontists perform nearly 25 root canal treatments a week, while general dentists perform less than two. In fact, Dr. Eliot has performed well over 8,000 endodontic procedures! He and his team havetruly hasmastered the art of providing exceptional root canal therapy.
Because they limit their practice solely to endodontic treatment, endodontists are efficient and precise. We have all heard horror stories of root canals taking 2, 3, or 4 + hours. We stay with you during the treatment, dont bounce around from room to room, and make sure it is done quickly, painlessly, and most importantly well. This equates to positive experiences and faster healing.
Most endodontists offer tremendous flexibility in accommodating emergency cases, so delays in treatment are kept to a minimum and patients can be relieved of dental pain quickly. We have relationships established with great referring offices; if an excellent referring office asks us to see an emergency patient, we usually see them the same day or very next day.
We use state-of-the-art technology such as operating microscopes with high definition cameras, 3D digital imaging, electronic apex locators, ultrasonic instrumentation and fiber optics to treat patients quickly and comfortably.

Enid is extremely lucky to have Dr. Eliot! He put me completely at ease, kept me informed of everything step by step, and it was relatively painless! I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a root canal!

Hold on to your wallet if you go to this place. Apparently they don't accept the insurance allowed amount and are not up front with you about costs until they have already done the procedure. More than $1,100 out of pocket with insurance is the biggest rip-off I ever saw.

Nobody wants to have a root canal, but if you need one I recommend Enid Endodontics. They are very professional and put your comfort foremost. I was treated with respect and courtesy at all points. I found Dr. Eliot to be very knowledgeable and proficient. I would recommend Enid Endodontics to anyone.

Welcome to Enid! Dr. Eliot was very understanding and kind to this very anxious patient. After he numbed the tooth, I did not feel a thing. Afterwards he has show and tell with pictures of his work. I highly recommend Enid Endodontics, no need to leave Enid for specialized tooth care.
