Briano Allen PharmD, DDS, MS was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He relocated to Tallahassee, Florida where he earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree with honors from Florida A&M University. He was accepted into Howard University College of Dentistry and graduated with high honors. Dr. Allen received numerous awards for academic excellence during his tenure at Howard University. In his senior year, he was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. He completed his residency training at the University of Florida and received his certificates in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics as well as Endodontics. He also earned his Masters of Science degree from the University of Florida for his research in dentofacial pain. In addition to academic achievements, Dr. Allen worked his way through school as a clinical pharmacist for Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, Georgetown University Hospital, and University of Florida Health at Shands.
Dr. Allen is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the Florida Association of Endodontics, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Leon County Dental Association.
Dr. Sykes was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida. He received his undergraduate degree in Zoology from the University of Florida in 1984, and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in 1988. Dr. Sykes completed his residency in Endodontics at UAB in 1990 and opened his private practice in Tallahassee, Florida that same year.
Dr. Sykes is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the Florida Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Alabama Association of Endodontists, and the Leon County Dental Association.
Samantha joined the team in 2018 as our scheduling coordinator. She is a native to Texas, but she has called Tallahassee home for six years and absolutely loves it. She has extensive training in communications and enjoys helping people with their dental needs.
Ian joined the team shortly after Samantha in 2018 as another member of the front staff. Although his previous dental experience was only from the other side of the chair, Ian has brought his years of customer service and technological expertise to streamline the office to make every patients experience as easy and stress-free as possible.
Morgan joined our team in 2016 as a Sterilization Technician. She moved on to become one of Dr. Allens Dental Assistants in 2017. She is a native to Tallahassee and graduated from Florida A&M University with a Bachelors in biology.

It would be a long reach to say my root canal was pleasant, but Dr. Allen's office was close. Polite and courteous and efficient and prompt. No unnecessary waiting and about as painless as I could hope for. I would use them again.

i've been here twice, and both experiences have been a marvel! the receptionists are always chipper (even at the crack of dawn) and super helpful, you're seen pretty soon after you check in, and the assistants/hygienists are friendly, knowledgeable, and put you at ease for your appointment. i saw dr. allen both times, and i've never thought of describing dental work as "relaxing", but i was seriously almost falling asleep during my root canals with him. i hope i never need to see an endodonist again, but if i do, i'd definitely choose enhanced endodontics in a heartbeat!

Professional, kind, friendly staff. Beautiful, clean office. Dr. Allen & Morgan used technology to explain things to me, and they were patient and knowledgeable with all of my questions. Didn't end up needing endodontic care at this time, but if I ever do, I'll be back!

if you need an Endodontist, you want Dr. Allen at Enhanced. I had a root canal performed. Spoke with Michael on the phone for booking and insurance, he was polite, prompt, and positive. Morgan did my consult, she was knowledgeable and kind and made me feel comfortable with the procedure. Sam (I believe that was her name, short young lady) assisted Dr Allen, she was prompt while working and easy to talk to even when nervous about the dental work... The entire experience was absolutely fantastic, nearly painless, quick, easy. I couldn't possibly speak more highly of the entire team I interacted with. Dr. Allen should be very proud of the team he's assembled. Thank you, sincerely, for making an unpleasant experience so much more positive than expected!

I hate going to the dentist. It is nowhere near an enjoyable experience at any time, and it seems the older I get, the more my teeth want to rebel against me and cause an insurgency. This place was top notch from the appointment reminder call to xrays to explaining and showing the xrays to Dr. Allen doing the work. Very impressive. I have no plans to return. I don't want to return. If I must return beyond my own choice, I will glady accept the referral to this crew.

They are extremely professional here & they make the experience painless! 39 weeks pregnant and they made me comfortable the entire time. I appreciate that they did not ignore my pain & seen me right away!

Dr Allen is amazing. Very very high end office. Professional and nice (rare). The assistant that executed my intake was great. She was knowledgeable and explained in detail the procedure. Office see s out of place in tallahassee.. exceeds any high end office that I have been a patient at. Thank you for the service

Update: Just returned from seeing Dr. Allen to help eliminate an infection in my tooth, he is GREAT! Thanks. I also have to give a Great Shout Out to Morgan who is also Fantastic! 'Thanks for for Your Service Morgan!' working there with Dr. Allen! Just had Dr. Allen performed a Root Canal on my #19 tooth and did a GREAT JOB!!! There was No PAIN and No Discomfort during the procedure and even Afterwards that night and the next day, NO PAIN, NO SWELLING an NO DISCOMFORT!!! Dr. Allen and Ian (assistant) were GREAT!!!! I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND them BOTH!!! I was even able to play the piano afterwards (couldn't before, ha! ha!)

As far as root canals go, I cant imagine an easier process. Dr. Allen and staff were courteous and professional. The were able to get me treated quickly and relatively pain free. Hope you never need his services, but in case you do, go see Dr. Allen at Enhanced Endodontics.

I struggle with anxiety and i don't particularly like the dentist but my experience was absolutely amazing thanks to Ian. He explained everything without doing the scary doctor thing and honestly made the hours at the dentists office getting a root canal fun.

For those who spoke bad about Mr. Briano Allen, let me make you out of a LIE, I've never believed in getting root canals done, but from the time I walk through the door, it was nothing less than It's all about you training. I had a panic attack while I was there, from the fear of him not doing a great job, Jesus was I wrong, the nurses and Mr. Allen himself made sure I was comfortable before any procedure was started, the nurses and Mr. Allen walk you through everything that was going to be done, he also explained to me the importance of trying to save your back teeth. My mouth become un numb in the middle of my procedure, immediately Mr. Allen made me comfortable again. Mr. Allen and his staff has taken all fear of having a root canal done. Mr. Allen answered every question I had, even the dumb ones. I was in pain when I made it home, I called the office and Mr. Allen and his staff wasted no time in calling me something in to ease the pain. So for those who said this doctor wasn't good those were stories because he was on point. I'm excited to refer anyone to this DDS. This team of folks were the BEST of the BEST I would refer anyone to Enhanced Endodontics Mr. Briano Allen, DDS
