It is truly an honor to be part of the orthodontic field, dentistrys oldest specialty. Working with all ages brings to me a wonderful educational opportunity. Treating each person as an individual, not a number, makes my personal journey in their treatment very rewarding. It is exciting and a privilege to earn the trust of a growing child so that I can ensure their growth and dental development can be the best it can be.

I am involved in continuing education for dental implants, temporary anchorage devices, and multidiscipline treatment for adults. Staying up-to-date on the newest technology keeps me current with other dental specialties, an integral aspect of working in this field.

Soon after graduation, I was invited to teach at the Loyola School of Dentistry Orthodontic Department. I was an assistant professor for ten years and enjoyed the blend of private practice and teaching. Its exciting to see how the orthodontic profession has evolved just since graduating from my residency. Research has provided technology and techniques that have improved treatment, made it more comfortable, and provided healthier results, and I am proud to offer these benefits to my patients. I was also voted by my peers as a Top Doc in orthodontics for the Chicago area.

In addition to being the first female orthodontist in Illinois to be Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, I stay active in the orthodontic community through participation in the following organizations:

I am a native of Joliet and currently reside in Naperville with my husband, Mark Sefcheck, DDS. In addition to caring for our rescued shelter pets, I stay busy with Pilates, playing tennis, pottery, and fishing. I am also active in my community. Throughout the years, I have provided orthodontic care at no charge to select individuals in need and am involved in the Philanthropic Educational Organization, and the Daughters of the American Revolution. As a side note, the P.E.O. is a philanthropic outreach which helps thousands of women pursue their educational goals through support of its own college, Cottey College and five educational assistance philanthropies. It is also an organization of friendship which is the characteristic that makes the organization so unique.

My husband, John, and I have been married for 31 years. We have two adult children, Kayleen and Kyle. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family and good friends. I enjoy working out at the gym, playing golf, and traveling.

I assist Dr. Engleman in patient procedures, prepare and educate patients on how to care for their braces and appliances, take any necessary X-rays and impressions, and make Essix retainers. My career in orthodontics began in 2007 when I joined Dr. Engleman and her team. My favorite part of my job is seeing the progress that the patient has made by the end of treatment. It is great to see how happy they are with the end result. I really enjoy working with Dr. Engleman because she is very passionate about her work and about people. She wants her patients to have the best outcome with the best care. I feel good knowing I have a part in helping her accomplish that. The team here is full of caring people and that makes for an upbeat and enjoyable atmosphere.

Outside the office, I enjoy engaging involunteer work as a Bible educator, spending time with my family and friends, cooking, playing sports, dancing and reading. I am married to my best friend Scott and we have one kitty named Fiesta.

I began working at Dr. Engleman's office in 2016 and I've loved every minute of it! Dr. Engleman is truly passionate about the work she is doing. She gives all her attention to every individual who comes to her office. All of the staff members are very welcoming and make the environment very relaxed, which makes me excited to come in every day.My favorite part of the job is knowing that I'm helping other people have beautiful teeth, and seeing the reactions when people get to see the final result. I also really like meeting all the different patients who come in because i love meeting new people!

I am the oldest of six children and I'm passionate about dentistry. I love to be around people as well as sing, play the piano and do service activities with my church. I just recently started college in Fall 2017. I plan to complete my degree in Biology and then apply to Dental School.

I have been with Dr. Engleman for a year and have learned so much! You can find me in the office taking x-rays, cleaning instruments, pouring up models, and assisting Dr. Engleman with patients.My favorite part of the job is that I get to watchthe growth of each of our patients. I love that I am able to see their transformation by the end of treatmentnot only in their beautiful smiles but in themselves as individuals. I love hearing about what's happening at school, what sport everyone is playing, and which super hero would win in a battle. It always makes my day!

When I started working with Dr. Engleman, I was amazed to see how she interacted with each of her patients, remembering and asking about siblings, parents, courses and classes they were taking. I could really tell that she takes a personal interest in everyone! And that atmosphere she's created is infectious! My favorite aspect of this job is creating a relationship and rapport with our patients and their families and seeing their excitement and confidence in their smile at the end of their treatment.I'm currently taking classes to become a Certified Orthodontic Assistant and I can ususally be found helping with patients and procedures, taking x-rays and making Essix retainers. My co-workers in the office are kind, compassionate and understanding and everyone enjoys each other.

I began working with Dr. Engleman and her team in 2014 after attending Medical/Dental Global Brigades abroad in Panama. I have always enjoyed working with children and patients of all ages, and I love that my job here allows me to do just that! It is rewarding to be able to get to know our patients and their families through their treatment.It is a joy to work with Dr. Engleman, as she is so motivated by achieving positive outcomes with each and every one of her patients. I appreciate that she is so thorough and always accommodating of their unique needs. Dr. Engleman and her staff have made me feel at home. Each member of the team is caring and always willing to go the extra mile and assist in whichever way they can.

I recently received my Masters in Public Health and am passionate about working in health care to increase positive health outcomes in our community. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with wonderful family and friends, working out, traveling, and trying new foods.

I started working at Dr. Engleman's this year and I've loved every moment of learning in a welcoming and friendly environment. The whole staff is kind and willing to go out of their way to accommodate a patient's needs. Dr. Englemanis very hands on and aware of not only the specific stages of each of her patients, but she also remembers what is going on in their lives and always wants to know how their family is or how school is going for them. I look forward to coming to work everyday because I love meeting new patients, recognizing old ones and learning more about what the latest games on the iPad are! I love seeing the final outcome and the happiness on the patient's face.

I am a senior in high school and am hoping to pursue a career in orthodontics. I enjoy being involved in school extracurricular, volunteering at the hospital and occasionally tutoring after school. I love meeting new people, spending time with my friends and family, and watching Friends.
