Dr. Manuel Englander is a full-service family and cosmetic dentist, practicing in Edina, MN, who is fully-trained as a prosthodontist. He focuses on high-end restorative and complex cosmetic procedures including veneers, implant dentistry and replacement of multiple missing teeth.

In the past, dental implants were done in many different designs, but there was a high rate of failure, says Manuel Englander of Englander Dental (pictured). Now companies have developed fantastic materials and designs that make the process significantly easier, not only for dentists but also for patients.
The implants have several benefits. First, they have minimal impact to your surrounding teeth. In the past, you often had to damage teeth on either side in order to place an implant or bridge, Englander says. Now you dont have to touch surrounding teeth. Second, dental implants help maintain the bone structure beneath your teeth. Third, the implants are stronger and feel more natural than they did in the past. You can replace a lost tooth with an implant that looks and feels just like a natural tooth, Englander says.
Dr. Portis graduated from the University of Alberta with degrees in both Microbiology and Dentistry. She operated her own dental practice in Edmonton, Canada, for ten years before relocating to the Twin Cities.

Dr. England's office is always a pleasure to visit even though I don't really like the dentist. The people there make everything happy and comfortable! I also like the interactions between the employees. It's a fun place to be!

Excellent experience. Large extraction. Dr Englander was very gentle so as not to break my gum or jaw. Took longer but berrter result without pain. Felt very comfortable with Dr E and all the staff.

Had masks on hand for those of us that needed them to enter building. Took time to explain to me on phone and in office how to use the TW Crest Kit and showed me online what toothpaste to use w/kit. And offered a Plan B option too if not satisfied with the first option. I have to say I am very satisfied with Englander Dental for both work done in mouth and for getting this cosmetic process in place for me. The staff and Dr are superb-would definitely recommend this place to others.

This is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. I moved to the area from another state and was looking for a dentist when I found them by google search. I love this dental office! I've been going here for years and every time it is the same...pleasant, friendly, competent, gentle people helping patients. One doesn't even hear any discord between the employees. The dental work is managed so well there is very little discomfort. I trust Dr. Englander, the hygienists and the office staff. It's peaceful.

I am so thankful to have found Dr. Englander. I am a retired dental professional and I have been searching for a new privately owned office, where one is treated as an individual, and selling optional services or products is not the main topic of conversation. I wanted a cosmetic issue addressed. Dr. Englander said that he could achieve what I wanted with less work than what I had anticipated. He knew that I was willing to have more work done and pay for it, but he was ethical and did less work and thus made less money. His cosmetic work is beautiful, so he made me very happy and he now has a new patient for life that has trust in him. My search is over!

Dr. Englander have been the family doctor for years. Since my husband was little. Today I went for a cavity. It was so nice to see the team. They are kind and treat me with respect. He put anesthesia and I didn't feel anything. Wow it is impressive his work, in one word "Perfection". MAR

Dr. Englander is an excellent professional who truly cares about his patients. He and his staff take time to explain procedures and answer questions patiently, respectfully, and thoroughly. There are many great dentists, but Dr. Englander is one of the best!
