Dr. Neil Engel, D.M.D. is a 1979 graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He received his undergraduate education at Brooklyn College, graduating Cum Laude. Dr. Engel has made it his professional priority to continue his training and education in the field of dentistry. He has completed over 900 hours of study focusing on implants, cosmetic dentistry and periodontics. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Society, the Nassau County Dental Society and the Glen Cove Study Club. Since 1981, Dr. Engel has been practicing family dentistry in the Oyster Bay-East Norwich community, bringing quality care and a friendly environment to his patients.
Gail graduated S.U.N.Y. at Farmingdale with a degree in dental hygiene in 1975. She joined our practice in 1999. She has extensive experience as a New York State Registered Dental Hygienist. She has maintained her license with continuing education credits in dental hygiene throughout her years of practice.
Her expertise includes oral scalings and prophylaxis, root planing, soft tissue management, dental x-rays and fluoride treatments. She also provides oral hygiene education and prevention, along with nutritional guidance to her patients.
