Dr. Hanson earned his undergraduate degree from University of Wisconsin Madison and attended the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry for his dental training. He was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He continued his training at Marquette Universitys Department of Orthodontics. After his orthodontic residency, Dr. Hanson and his wife moved to Green Bay in 2003.
Dr. Hanson was lucky enough to have married his high school sweetheart, Marisa. Theyve been blessed with four children: Evelyn, Larz, Vivian and Yvette. As time permits, they enjoy spending time as a family camping, fishing and downhill skiiing.
I love what I do, but more importantly, I love what I can do to serve others. The physical and emotional transformation I witness in my patients from the start to end of treatment is incredible, and is what keeps me coming to work every day with a smile on my face and a grateful heart. Orthodontics not only makes a positive impact on a persons confidence, but also has a long-term influence on their overall oral health and function. I am so honored to be a part of each of my patients orthodontic journey.
Dr. Hammerbeck was born and raised in the Green Bay area, graduating from Pulaski High School (Melanie Hoffman). She then attended Michigan Technological University where she obtained her Bachelors Degree in Biology and Exercise Physiology, with a Minor in Spanish. During her time at Michigan Tech, She was a member of the Womens Soccer and Track and Field Teams, while maintaining a 4.0 grade point average.
Dr. Hammerbeck graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry, receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. She remained at Marquette University to pursue her specialty training in orthodontics and obtained her Masters of Science degree.
Dr. Hammerbeck and her husband, Adam, are so excited to be back in Green Bay to make it their lifelong home! She met Adam while attending Marquette Dental School it was love at first sight, bonding over late-night study sessions and tooth talk! Dr. Adam Hammerbeck practices general dentistry in Pulaski. They are expecting their first child, due in April 2021! Outside of the office, Dr. Melanie Hammerbeck enjoys many activities cross country skiing (and skiing the American Birkebeiner), playing soccer, cake pop making, and anything outdoors.
I feel that being an orthodontist is the greatest job in the world. I love the puzzle of moving teeth, the fun of building relationships with families, the challenge of connecting a patients concerns to a treatment tailored just for them, and of course, the amazing feeling of watching a patients new smile brighten the room!
Dr. Suzy completed three years of undergraduate study at Marquette University when she was accepted early into Marquette University School of Dentistry. The additional two years of school allowed Dr. Suzy to earn a Masters of Science degree (MS) and Orthodontic Specialty Degree. As you can imagine, she will forever be a Golden Eagles fan!
Dr. Suzy has her original roots in Oshkosh, WI where she practiced for many years. Dr. Suzy and her family have always enjoyed the Appleton area and decided they wanted to be a part of its amazing community. The Klobucarichs moved to Appleton where her husband is an IT consultant and he now helps to rock the IT ideas at the practice. Her son and little-lion-of-a-dog keep life hopping. Their lives are filled with music everywhere, time on the water, and road-tripping to the UP to visit family or wherever the car may take them!

I have absolutely loved my experience at Engage! The staff are not only extremely knowledgeable, but they truly have a love for what they do. It is clear that Engage is a great place to work and they take pride in helping people feel great about their smile. They went through everything with me step by step and are always willing to help if I have questions. I highly recommend going to Engage if you are looking to have any orthodontic work done!

Our family has had nothing short of an amazing experience with Engage orthodontics. Every time we have an appointment, all of the workers are very pleasant and friendly. We absolutely adore Dr Suzy for her knowledge, ingenuity, compassion, and fun loving spirit.

Our Family loves Dr Suzy... Working with Engage Ortho has been fantastic. We do not have insurance but they were able to make payment arrangements with us. Which made it possible to fix our daughters teeth and her teeth are now perfect thanks to Dr Suzy... Excellent state-of-the-art facilities kind compassionate care and amazing results thanks Engage!

Engage Orthodontics is outstanding! I am an adult patient and am so glad that I made the decision to address my teeth issues with Invisalign and that I chose Engage as my orthodontics provider. Dr. Suzy and her team have been fabulous with respect to assessing my needs and guiding me through the whole process. I have found them to be very professional, knowledgeable about the product, well organized and excellent communicators.

We are extremely pleased with Dr. Suzy and her staff. They are always cheerful and welcoming. My daughter got her braces off and they have such a fun, special, cow-bell-ringing end ceremony that it makes you feel all warm and happy inside.

Worst customer service, called to get my retainer glued back onto my bottom teeth that is suppose to be a lifetime warranty when I got my braces off, now granted the business was sold to engage. I was told today that they have none of my paperwork and I would be charged $250 to glue my retainer back on. My sister was just in to have hers repaired about a month ago at no charge to her.... This place is just out to take your money!

Amazing place for people of any age! Both of our sons had the privilege of working with Dr Suzy and her team. Although I had braces as a teen I needed a little extra work and didn't hesitate to go to Engage because of the amazing results we saw with our boys. Every visit was a positive experience!

Dr.Suzie is so great with Children, tweens, and adults. The staff is very kind as well. Very up to date facility, with the newest technology. Invisalign is a game changer, it was affordable, & more importantly it brought out a true full smile from my daughter in the end. We visited Engage Orthodontics for the first time today. The consultation was thorough and they were great with my 7 year old. I feel more at ease about this process since talking with them. I also appreciated the COVID-19 precautions in place (masks required, texting upon arrival to limit patients in the waiting room, requesting that you use the hand sanitizing station prior to entering the waiting room, etc.) So far so good!

First time at Engage for my 10 yr. Old son. Happy with the service. No pushing of products and services. Everyone we worked with was very pleasant, professional knowledgeable. They were able to answer all my questions and my son felt very comfortable.

My experience with Invisalign at Engage was absolutely terrific. From consult to completion the Engage team was professional, personable, and (pardon the pun) highly engaged in the goal to improve my smile. As a secondary outcome, I've noticed my sleep improved because of the space created in my mouth. I'm able to breath more comfortably and attain an enhanced, deeper, and more restful sleep. If you're thinking about Invisalign I'd strongly recommend it. And if you're looking for the right team to help you...you will LOVE your time at Engage Orthodontics.

I would not recommend this place. I was a returning patient from the prior practice, I had an issue with a permanent wire down the road after having braces. I didn't receive the same care and concern from Engage. I feel I was a bit manipulated and received faulty care, which resulted in more issues. I never write reviews but feel this was important.

Just your classic "the dog ate my retainer TWICE in a month" scenario! I called and talked to Cathy who told me I just needed to run the molds to her and they could get the order in. She followed up a couple hours later and told me that not only were the retainers ready for pick up but that they did not wish to charge me as I had just bought a new set a month or so earlier! Less than 24 hours after our dumb dog had a retainer for dinner we had new retainers! Now I just need Cathy to make sure my daughter puts them in their case at night! It seems to be getting harder and harder to find businesses that care, call back, and take care of customers. Engage did more than I could have expected! Thanks, Cathy and Team!
