Dr. Justin Batz has practiced dentistry for thirteen years with nine years dedicated exclusively to endodontics. He is a lifelong member of the Arizona community, moving to Tucson from New York shortly after his birth. He graduated from the University of Arizona in 1998, and volunteered in Central America with the United States Peace Corps where he worked with local communities in the design and construction of potable water systems. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of California San Francisco, and completed an intern year at the University of Texas San Antonio, Department of Oral Surgery. Dr. Batz completed his residency in Advanced General Dentistry through the Lutheran Medical Center in New York, and received his Microsurgical Endodontics qualification training from the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Silvia joins our office after relocating to Tucson from New Jersey where she successfully operated her own seafood restaurant. She is a graduate of Temple University and is an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles (Go Birds!). Silvia strives to make your visit to our office a pleasant experience and will gladly attend to any needs you may have.
A native of Pueblo Colorado, Krystal relocated to Tucson in 2019. Krystal has over a decade of experience working as an endodontic assistant. She is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and will work alongside Dr. Batz during your visit.
As a Registered Dental Hygienist with over two decades of experience, Carol brings a wealth of knowledge to the practice. Prior to working in the dental field, Carol was a Registered Respiratory Therapist and also had the pleasure of teaching preschool and kindergarten students as a Certified Montessori Teacher. Carol is excited to join the office and will work alongside Silvia and Krystal in ensuring you are well cared for.

My dental provider referred me to Dr. Batz. When I called, I was able to get in quickly. The office was clean and staff was friendly. After filling out my paperwork I was notified that they DO NOT offer any in network insurance benefits. That being said, you are going to pay more for the entire treatment process. I should have asked, and they should have mentioned it, when making the appointment. Perhaps this was the reason the office was devoid of other patients. Dental care is a racket, especially with providers like this.

I came to Dr Batz as an out of network emergency visit. My previous PCP couldn't see me for a week even though I was in intense pain due to an infection below my newest root canal they had preformed. Dr Batz, Sylvia and team got me in ASAP and gave me relief. My teeth need a lot of work- I clench and grind a lot and have a predisposition for dental disease. But not once did the team shame me or criticize me for the condition of my mouth. They understood that sometimes it's the hand you're dealt and didn't make me feel bad about it. They were honest when answering my questions and provide amazing customer service within the facility. I felt like I was a freakin' queen! Lastly- even out of network they were cheaper than Gentle Dental with insurance. They have definitely earned a lifelong patron.

Was on my spring break, but ended up at Endozona due to tooth pain. Front desk was able to get me in quickly. Dr. Batz was able to explain the x-ray results. Dr. Batz and his staff made sure I was comfortable during the whole procedure. Office was very clean and organized. They even contacted my general dentist...I live in Jersey but Endozona went above and beyond to send all of my treatment info to them. Thank you so much for such a great experience!

I had a root canal procedure done by Dr. Batz and Krystal. The procedure was painless and I almost fell asleep multiple times, if that says anything about how relaxed I felt. They were kind, careful, and attentive. Silvia at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating to my urgent and rigid scheduling needs. And she set up a monthly payment plan, which was eased some financial stress I had. ++ Atmosphere was clean, calm and welcoming. Thanks, Endozona!

I went to Endozona for a dental emergency that required immediate attention. Worse yet, it was on a holiday. Dr. Batz and Sylvia happened to be available and willing to meet at the office to help me. They were incredibly kind and helpful, considering the circumstances, and never made me feel like I was interrupting their day off. I've always been sensitive to dental work and Dr. Batz was incredibly gentle and communicated everything he was doing and everything I should expect as the procedure progressed. I had less pain with him than I've had at run of the mill cleanings. The office was very clean and contemporary in its decor. Relaxing music played, but not boring or annoying elevator music. Overall it was very comfortable and inviting. Honestly felt like I was visiting family. The welcoming and pleasant demeanor (even on a holiday) definitely lent itself to the overall atmosphere. Silly to say, but loved the experience (considering what it started as - a painful dental emergency). If I could give Endozona 10 stars I would... now if they only did General Dentistry too!
