Dr Mitrut and his team are FABULOUS -- professional, friendly, communicative, patient, kind. The office is spotless and very tastefully designed. The location is great, as you can treat yourself to something delicious in Astoria, after the visit. I had my first (and hopefully only!) root canal in this office. Of course no dental procedure is ever something one WANTS to do -- but they made the experience as pleasant and close to painless as possible. If I'm ever to need another, I will 100% return here.

Dr. Mitrut is a master of his craft. Going for a root canal is never fun and trying to preserve an existing crown that's 10 years old is almost mission impossible. Dr. Mitrut operated with surgical precision to conduct the root canal while preserving my crown. He provides you clear and concise options based on the complexity of your situation and is very candid about the potential outcomes. Not that I'm rushing to go back to a dentist anytime soon, but if you have to see an Endodontist, this is your guy.

The level of care I received from Dr. Mitrut and his entire team was top notch! The customer service aspect of this experience helped make a painful situation easier to deal with. From the moment I called the office, I felt as if each person I dealt with genuinely cared, and wanted to help in anyway that they could. Dr. Mitrut's team was able to squeeze me in for an emergency consultation, at which time the doctor examined me and explained the issues, and how he was going to address them. He put me at ease with his kind demeanor, and always asked if I had any questions or concerns along the way. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable, but the thing that really got me was his follow up! When was the last time a doctor called you after the procedure to check and see how you are doing? This impressed me the most! If anyone ever needs a root canal treatment, this is the doctor and office to call.

The office is nice, assistants are nice....but I wouldn't go back. I went for an opinion to see if I needed a root canal and I should have known that if you go to a root canal dentist, they get paid for that service so of course he said "yes". Not feeling good about my visit, I got a second opinion and the dentist was able to quickly fix the issue and no root canal needed. His fees are extremely high too....worth it, I don't know... because I never needed work done after all.

I don't particularly appreciate going to the dentist, but having an appointment with Dr. Mitrut and his team is different. They are so good, and I felt so relaxed when visiting him that I almost fell asleep during the procedure on my fourth and last visit. I had a problem with a root canal done about four years ago. Dr. Mitrut took care of it. Four visits over a few months, and now the healing process is coming to an end. Each visit, I asked dozens of questions to Dr. Mitrut and his team. They all patiently answered each of one of them. At the end of each visit, I always expected to have an extra bill. It never happened. Dr. Mitrut said that I paid for the treatment, not for the number of visits. He also recommended me a general dentist for other procedures. Finding the right doctor for the right procedure is like finding the right lawyer for the right case. If you are looking for a good endodontist, Dr. Mitrut is the right professional with the right team.

Dr. Mitrut did not rush through my appointment. He made sure I understood my options by repeating some of the more "difficult to understand" terms. Based on good reviews on Yelp, I went to his Astoria practice for a root canal. The doctor said that the root canal may or may not be necessary. He wanted to take a conservative approach and save the tooth if possible. So, he said that I should visit a general dentist first. This resonated with me and assured me that he was looking out for my best interests, not his.

My experience with Dr. Mitrut and his staff was pretty much a game changer in terms of my relationship with dental health. I came to his office with years of trauma and fear, and I left with a whole new approach to my future dental health. I can honestly say that I no longer understand why anyone would refer to modern-day root canal procedures as scary. and I owe it to Dr. Mitrut.

Five stars! I've never had a root canal experience that went as smoothly as this one! I was having some pain and I contacted the office about an appointment. I also had some questions regarding prices since that was a concern for me. Not only was the office able to accommodate me for a next-day appointment, but the cost was much less than I was quoted by three other endodontic offices (each told me close to $3,000!) I've had some bad experiences at the dentist, but this was completely different. I was taken in promptly at my appointment time. The front desk was kind and helpful and so were the assistants. Dr. Mitrut was friendly and patient and took the time to explain every step in the procedure. He answered my questions and didn't rush right into working. And...the best part...I didn't feel a thing! Highly recommend Dr. Mitrut with the utmost confidence!

I was informed by my general dentist that I needed to have root canal treatment. He recommended that I find an endodontist, but I was hesitant to search; I'd heard stories about painful treatment and I was not in a hurry to have it done. One morning, I found myself in extreme pain; nothing seemed to alleviate it. I searched online for an endodontist and I came across Dr. Mitrut's information. I called the office and they accommodated me for an appointment that morning. I was quite pleased with the office- it's modern and welcoming; the staff was kind and informative. Dr. Mitrut examined me and explained everything carefully; the root canal treatment itself was painless. I actually fell asleep in the chair! I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Mitrut. I wholeheartedly recommend him.

After a consultation with my dentist about my tooth infection that I had a root canal many years ago I was recommended to Dr. Mitrut. I read several reviews online and looked at the pictures of the office. The office is very clean and I was impressed by the fact that he is using microscope to do his procedure. All in all, it was a comfortable visit to his office in Astoria. Dr. Mitrut explained the procedure and despite my fears he addressed all of my concerns. I knew that I was in good hands. The procedure was very professional and I didn't have any pain while sitting on the chain and following his post-operative instructions. Dr. Mitrut is professional and I highly recommend him.

Dr.Cezar Mitrut Is an excellent doctor. Very professional, kind. He was able to safe my tooth. The place is beyond clean, staff is very friendly. I would recommend to anyone who needs a root canal treatment. I am so happy with the treatment that I got in this place. He would take the time to explain every detail about the root canal treatment and make sure that you don't go through any pain. Thank you, Dr. Cezar Mitrut.
