DO NOT TRUST THEIR STAFF TO CORRECTLY CHECK YOUR INSURANCE NETWORK COVERAGE! YOU need to call your dental insurance before using this "Endodontic Specialist Office". They're a predatory practice who WILL tell you you're in-network, even when you aren't, and then surprise you with a bill that is three times the usual and customary cost of the service they perform. IF you go here BE prepared for a surprise bill of over $1,000.00 Would NOT recommend. If your dentist referred you here, CALL your INSURANCE company, and ask them to find you an in-network provider. You'd think for the robbery they commit financially that they'd at least pay for your parking. They don't.

Was referred here by my primary dentist for an emergency root canal. I have extreme dental anxiety and they really helped keep me at ease! Everyone was extremely kind! The dental assistant gave me a fuzzy blanket to keep me me warm and cozy for the procedure which was nice too. Dr. Johnson explained the procedure with a pamphlet so I had all of the information before it started and during the root canal they both explained what they were doing every step of the way. The office staff were also friendly and helpful. I even got a call the next day to check in on how I was doing. I would highly recommend. It's not fun needing a root canal. But this place will take care of you. Plus, the view isn't bad either from the dentist chair!

While they do good work they are NOT patient friendly when it comes to your bill. They won't take Care Credit (which is interest free for up to 2 years), and they start charging interest after 60 days as if they are a creditor, even if you are making monthly payments. No other medical provider I have ever seen does that! And, their specialist services are thousands of dollars per procedure. When asked about Care Credit they didn't care that it could help patients pay them timely, and when I said they would lose patients they said "we aren't worried about that because patients are referred". Do NOT use them or refer patients to them! Awful patient customer service.

Dr. Johnson was wonderful. I would recommend her and her assistant, Marion, to anyone in need of root canal treatment.

Was told over th phone the procedure was 400$ less than it was. Would not recommend coming here. Was told a root canal was 1150 over the phone. Got here and it's 1561. Will never return here.

After visiting Nicollet Station Dental and getting a bite adjustment for some tooth pain, they suggested I go to an Endodontic Specialist for an x-ray to be sure it was not a nerve issue. I set an appointment that day to be safe. My biggest concern was that my insurance was not covered for this specialist. I have already put a lot of money into dental, and paying for another evaluation out of pocket would be an inconvenience. Luckily, I woke up this morning and the pain seems to be gone! I think the bite adjustment is all I needed. I called the office to cancel my appointment at 8am, my appointment was for 845am. The receptionist was rude and had no interest in understanding my side. Hung up without saying goodbye. If the pain comes back, I will not visit this location. She should be more understanding that these decisions are a big deal, and it came down to cost. They also don't contract out any parking with any of the parking garages. So plan on taking public transit, an Uber, biking, or taking the risk of paying 20+ for parking. Also after reading the other reviews on price, and lack of customer service, I am very happy I made the decision not to go.

They are pricey, but I feel like that is the choice you make when going to an endodontist vs. a family dentist. They are specialists. Dr. Kinsey did a great job and the staff is very friendly and kind. A big plus is that they are downtown, so I was back to work by lunch and didn't have to burn a whole day getting this taken care of. God forbid I have this type of pain again, but I would go back to see these folks if I do.

Nice people but way overpriced. Called around and they were hundreds more than any other clinic, and when I called to ask them about it they were angry and offended that I'd ever question their pricing (after being a client for 2+ years) and would not adjust. When I asked why so high the lady had "no idea what others charge" - which shows they don't care they just want their money.

It is not about the actual procedure, it's about the headache and poor business practices that this small company employees that really frustrated me with the experience. I was referred to this specialist from a close partner of theirs, Metro Dental, after it was determined that I needed a root canal. I had just been examined by the dentist and it was clear that there were no other reason for another evaluation. When I went in for my root canal, they charged me 20% of the full procedure, which is understandable seeing that my insurance covers the standard 80% of endodontist care. At no point was I told that there would be $100 charge applied after the fact for an examination of my teeth which they clearly knew insurance did not cover since it was 2 within the given 6 month window. I had looked at other places and none of them said they charge any extra for an examination. It was 3 months when I first started getting letters about delinquent bills from Endodontic Specialists claiming that I owed them $100. When I reached out to them, they clearly knew this was an additional charge that they knew but did not disclose, they also could not justify the reason why this was needed. Save yourself $100 if you are using insurance to get a root canal on a referral from your dentist. Use a better business practice specialist.
