Endodontics of the Ozarks provides specialized dental services in the Springfield and Branson, MO areas. We specialize in root canal treatment, root canal retreatment, endodontic surgery, and dental implants. These services may be needed if your tooth becomes infected, you have visible swelling or injury to the tooth, or senstitivity to temperature or pain in the tooth and gums. A dentist will refer you to us if they think it is necessary.

Endodontics of the Ozarks is a dental practice dedicated exclusively to endodontic care. Root canals arent what they used to be. Our Doctors utilize new technologies that shorten chair time and improve treatment accuracy, making visits surprisingly pleasant. Endodontics of the Ozarks employs state of the art technologyincluding digital radiography, surgical microscopes, and the latest sterilization equipment. These new advancements provide many benefitsincluding minimizing radiation exposure to the patient and staff as well as enhancing visualization and identification of the intricate conditions of the root canal system, thus, assuring an accurate diagnosis, appropriate treatment, and proper care to the patient.

Dr. Pack is originally from San Diego, California where he graduated Magna Cum Laude from San Diego State University and then received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Southern California. Prior to becoming a dentist, Dr. Pack worked as a physical therapist at a skilled nursing facility in East Los Angeles where his fluency in Spanish allowed him to better serve the local community. Dr. Pack received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the top ranked UCLA School of Dentistry in 2013, where he held numerous leadership and volunteer positions. Dr. Pack was honored to begin his Endodontic Residency immediately after graduation, which is rare. Dr. Pack was awarded both his certificate and a Masters of Science degree with an emphasis in endodontics from the University of Florida in 2015. He is currently on track to become a board certified endodontist. Dr. Pack is a member in good standing with the American Board of Endodontics, American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, and Greater Springfield Dental Society.

Dr. Pack is married to Brooke and they have three children: Miri, Eisen, and Gabe. Dr. Pack enjoys spending time with his family, serving in his local church congregation, scuba diving, and is a 2nd degree black belt in Kenpo Karate.

Originally from Nixa, Missouri, Dr. Newberry is happy to be home, proudly serving the Ozarks area at Endodontics of the Ozarks as a Board Certified Endodontist. Dr. Newberry received his bachelors degree in biology and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He completed both degrees in just six years, rather than the traditional eight. Dr. Newberry was awarded a full scholarship by the United States Air Force and served five years in the military as a general dentist where he completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency. He received his certificate and a Master of Endodontics from the prestigious Loma Linda University in California. He has been published in the Journal of Endodontics and has lectured nationally and internationally. Dr. Newberry has achieved the highest level of training and is board certified. He is a member in good standing with the American Board of Endodontics, American Association of Endodontics, American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, and Greater Springfield Dental Society.

Dr. McFarland grew up in Phoenix, AZ. and Clovis, CA. He received his bachelors degree in biochemistry from Brigham Young University and his DDS from the prestigious University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry in 2007, graduating at the top of his class as the 2nd of 80 dental students. For the next 6 years he worked in Madera, CA. as a general dentist working at a community clinic where he was able to use his Spanish speaking ability. Following the rewarding experience he pursued his advanced specialty training in Endodontics at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. Dr. McFarland was awarded a Masters of Dental Science in addition to the certificate in Endodontics. Dr. McFarland is a member in good standing with the American Dental Association, Missouri DentalAssociation, and Greater Springfield Dental Society.

Dr. McFarland loves his family with whom he plays as much as possible. His wife Sarcie McFarland, and he are the proud parents of six beautiful children that bring them both great joy. Their oldest Tage and Cayden, twin boys, followed by their daughter Annabelle, son Ensign, daughter Citrus, and the baby girl, Zion. Sports and church activities keep their family busy all year round!

Ashley started with Endodontics of the Ozarks in 2013 and takes on a multitude of responsibilities. She is originally from Joplin, MO, but has been living in Springfield since 2004. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Tim; her son, Roman; and their Golden Retriever, Wilson. Ashley loves traveling, cooking and outdoor activities. We are blessed to have her as part of our team as she is always welcoming and kind and takes incredible care of our patients.

Felicia is originally from Fayetteville, Arkansas and has an Associates of Science and her RDA degree. Felicia joined our team as a Dental Assistant in 2017 and transitioned to Front Desk in 2020. Her hobbies are working out, cooking, watching movies, and hiking. She loves to spend time with her boyfriend Justin and her best friend Lee. Her outstanding patient care, warm personality, and ambitious spirit are just a few reasons why we are so lucky and blessed to have Felicia at our practice.

Born in Germany and raised in Central Arkansas Leah spent a lot of her time of her time in the Ozarks and has always wanted to come back. Leah joined our front desk team in early 2020 and has over 10 years of clerical experience, most of it in the healthcare industry. Her hobbies include reading, baking, and spending time with her husband and two sons. Leah and her husband have been married for 9 years. We are blessed to have Leah as a part of our team!

Shannon has been with us since 2010 and hales from Seymour, MO. She enjoys soaking up nature while taking hikes or running, and going to the lake. She also loves basketball and was a big fan of Michael Jordan growing up. You can expect to be in excellent care as a patient with Shannon which is why she has been such an important part of our team for so many years.

Candice has been with us since 2018. She comes from Fort Walton Beach, Florida but received her RDA here in Springfield. Candice loves doing volunteer work for dental assisting in her free time and also enjoys spending time with her family and friends and riding motorcycles. She is married to Tony and has two fur babies: Jada and Rowdy. Our patients and staff love Candice for her friendly, amusing, and kind personality and we are blessed to have her on our team.

Diana joined us in 2019 and comes from Northridge, California. She has a degree in Dental Assisting from Charter College in Lancaster, CA. She has a wonderful little boy and a cat. Diana is known around our office for her sweet, bubbly personality and we are happy to have her on our team.
