I recently had a root canal performed by Dr. Hemsath. This is the second root canal I have received in my life. My first experience having it done elsewhere was awful and extremely painful. There was no pain with this procedure, and I even had to consciously not chew on that side right away before getting my crown, as I felt no pain once the numbness was gone. Amazing work! On the financial side, the front desk was super informative and helpful with my insurance. Their quote was close to the final cost and came out a bit cheaper. Highly recommend!

These people are awesome! Everyone there is super nice. Dr Hemsath is very knowledgeable and professional. He had great communication with my 10 year old and would recommend 10/10 times! Thanks guys!

Thanks so much!!! Had a very infected tooth and root canal. A 20 year old crown they fixed and the NEXT day it was like a new mouth. Better yet they SAVED my tooth!!! Amazing. Thanks to everyone there best experience I have had with tooth pain. You guys are heroes. Remember that!

I'm continuously impressed by Endodontics of Iowa. I had a dental emergency that was severe and Dr. Hemsath and his team got me in within 30 minutes of them being notified. The problem was addressed quickly and efficiently and with the utmost empathy. Afterwards, Dr. Hemsath made sure I had the right prescriptions to keep me comfortable and on track for feeling better. I would go out of my way to return here for any of my future endo needs. This place deserves 10 stars. Bravo Dr. Hemsath and team!

Hands down the easiest root canal Iv had. I didn't feel a thing when Dr Hemsath was getting the tooth numbed up. Before I couldn't chew down at all on that side and that next day, I could use that side again! No pain, went to work right after. Didn't need to take any pain relievers. 10/10 would do again. (If I had to) and the team is pretty awesome as well! Thanks for such a great experience!

They are such a caring office that provides exceptional work. Everyone is so kind and you can sense they have a happy work environment. They don't seemed rushed at all which helps when you are in pain and want help soon. Thanks again!!

My son was seen in this office today as an emergency patient. Dr. Hemseth was the dentist he saw. He Was phenomenal! I cannot say enough good things about him. He walked my son and I both through every part of the procedure that he had done. And explained everything to us if we had any questions. He made sure to ask my son how he was doing throughout the procedure. I would 100 times refer people to this office. It was such a great visit that I even asked him if he could please be a pediatric dentist lol! The ladies upfront were super friendly and caring, and made sure that he was comfortable until it was time to go back. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

What a great Dentist office their team is helpful and friendly. They put you at ease from the moment you walk through the door. Dr. Hemseth was amazing he walks you through the process so you know exactly what to expect. He has a gentle touch and makes the process as pain free as possible. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I was referred to Dr. Hemsath for a root canal. I had never had a root canal before and had heard all the horror stories. I typically have extremely high anxiety.when it comes to dental work. To my great relief, his staff was super friendly and attentive. They helped through the entire process and were upfront about costs and insurance info. Dr. Hemsath explained the issue and treatment and after care. I am happy to report, I didn't feel a thing during the whole procedure. I didn't even feel the novocaine injections. Truthfully, I have had dental cleanings that were more painful. My only advice would be for patients to bring their own noise canceling earbuds to muffle the standard noise from the equipment and treatment. That helps calm the nerves. Dr. Hemsath found another issue in another tooth and it also needs a root canal. Eventhough, I am not excited about needing another root canal, I am thankful he will be able to save my tooth and that this past experience made it so I am not anxiety ridden for the next procedure.
