Dr. Shane Christensen grew up in Littleton, Colorado. He attended Colorado State University graduating in 2000. In 2001 he completed a Masters Degree in Human Physiology. In 2006, he received a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the Indiana University School of Dentistry. After completing residency at the VA Hospital in Denver he returned to Indiana University and completed his endodontic specialty training with a Masters in 2009. Dr. Christensen is a member of the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association and the American Association of Endodontists.
Dr. Christensen resides in Denver with his wife Stephanie and their 4 boys Cooper, Mason, Tucker, Colton and their dog Griffy. Growing up in Colorado, he and his wife enjoy skiing, hiking and experiencing the outdoors year-round.
He studied Biology at the University of Missouri in Columbia. In 1994, he received his doctorate in dental medicine at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine where he received the school honor awards in Dental Research, Fixed Prosthodontics, Dental Materials and Endodontics. He was also the president of the Delta Sigma Delta dental fraternity and was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi National Academic Honor Society and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honorary.
Dr. Holtzmann received his Certificate of Specialty in Endodontics and Masters in Oral Science at The University of Iowa. After his residency, he joined the faculty at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine and Saint Louis University as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Applied Dental Medicine and Postgraduate Endodontic Program. During his time in dental school, graduate school and teaching, Dr. Holtzmann authored and co-authored several scientific papers as well as authoring a chapter in an endodontic text book. Dave moved to Colorado in January of 2000 to join Endodontics of Colorado, L.L.C.
He is active in several charitable organizations including Kids in Need of Dentistry, the Howard Dental Center, Donated Dental Services and others. Dr. Holtzmann is a member of the Metro Denver Dental Society, the Colorado Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the American Association of Endodontists.
Dr. Jessica Riccobono grew up in the sunshine state of Fort Lauderdale, FL and attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL for her undergraduate studies. After graduating from the Swamp (Go Gators), Dr. Riccobono attended Boston University School of Dental Medicine where she received her DMD degree in 2019. After four years in the beautiful city of Boston, Dr. Riccobono packed her bags and headed to Dallas to begin her Endodontic Residency Program at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry, which she just graduated in September 2021.
Dr. Riccobono is fluent in the Spanish language, is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida, Texas, and Colorado Dental Associations, as well as the American Association of Endodontists.

Dr. Riccobono was Excellent! I was in need of an emergency root canal and I was on travel. Super stressed and in pain. I was put at ease instantly. She was very efficient and direct in her procedure. Bedside manor excellent! Concerned about my welfare throughout procedure. She even did a few extra things to expedite my healing and worked with me even though she was busy. She has a great future ahead. Wishing her well! Thank you again

I had an amazing experience at Endo of Colorado, more specifically Dr. Christensen. I have seen him and his staff not just once but twice, along with my grandmother. The entire staff at his office made me feel cared for and were so sweet! This practice is nothing like any other practices I have been to, they take their time and evaluate treatment and will tell you if you honestly need treatment or not. Dr. Christensen walked in and talked me through the whole process and the same day even took the time out of his evening to give me a call and ask how I was feeling. I highly recommend Endo of Colorado and would never go anywhere else!

I was just really nervous about getting a root canal but Dr. Holtzmann and his assistant were so friendly and made me feel so welcome! I would totally recommend this place to anyone needing a root canal.

Dr Shane Christensen and his assisted squeezed me in for a root canal this morning. I am in my third trimester and was in a lot of pain - I walked in with a ton of anxiety around all of it and walked out calm. Shane is gentle and compassionate and his assistant made sure I was comfortable the entire time. We talked through all the options and he let me advocate for myself what I would be comfortable with, which is huge in dental care. I cannot say enough and I am truly truly grateful! Highly recommend Shane!

The only place to go! Dr Holtzman is my "go to" after a couple of procedures. Now, I am trusting him with my teenager.

This was my first time at this practice and I LOVE them! I tend toward anxiety in the dentist's chair to be sure, and from the moment I walked into the practice I was so well tended to and cared for. The team was kind, gentle, very good at explaining things as they went, funny and the process itself genuinely was not painful. I cannot recommend them highly enough! I was at the Aurora location with Dr. Holtzman and Sonia.

Dr. Christiansen is incredible! He's kind, professional, and empathetic which is so necessary with my dental anxieties! Being in the medical field myself I always appreciate when I find someone who can empathize with patients and not make them feel crazy. He's just so great! He calls to check up on you and is there to answer any questions or concerns. Really nice guy so glad I was referred to him!!!

I was referred to Dr. Holtzmann (by Harman Family Dental) for a root canal-- I was pretty nervous about it as I'd never had a root canal and heard a dozen horror stories about how awful they are. He initially did some tests, but because we weren't 100% sure which tooth was causing my pain- he wisely had me wait until the pain subsided so he could retest, to be sure he was addressing the correct tooth (explaining "2 root canals are not better than one" :) The root canal procedure itself was mildly uncomfortable but not painful, it took about 45 minutes and he explained all the steps as he went long. He and his staff worked very well as a team which made me feel confident and safe throughout the procedure. I was good as new a few days later! Excellent Doctor and staff. Many thanks!!

Robin, the receptionist, is probably the rudest and unwelcoming person to talk to when you're a new patient referred to this office. I honestly did not even want to schedule my appointment. She kicked me off the phone saying she was "too busy" to take all my information. Since my dentist referred me to this office, I'm hoping the doctors are a lot more welcoming and friendly.

I am now a fan of Dr. David J. Holtzmann. I was very scared of root canal but Dr. Holtzmann walked me through the process, calmed me down, and I literally felt nothing while and after root canal. I am really thankful to Doctor and the friendly staff. I will definitely recommend Dr. Holtzmann.
