Dr. Shane Christensen grew up in Littleton, Colorado. He attended Colorado State University graduating in 2000. In 2001 he completed a Masters Degree in Human Physiology. In 2006, he received a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the Indiana University School of Dentistry. After completing residency at the VA Hospital in Denver he returned to Indiana University and completed his endodontic specialty training with a Masters in 2009. Dr. Christensen is a member of the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association and the American Association of Endodontists.
Dr. Christensen resides in Denver with his wife Stephanie and their 4 boys Cooper, Mason, Tucker, Colton and their dog Griffy. Growing up in Colorado, he and his wife enjoy skiing, hiking and experiencing the outdoors year-round.
He studied Biology at the University of Missouri in Columbia. In 1994, he received his doctorate in dental medicine at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine where he received the school honor awards in Dental Research, Fixed Prosthodontics, Dental Materials and Endodontics. He was also the president of the Delta Sigma Delta dental fraternity and was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi National Academic Honor Society and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honorary.
Dr. Holtzmann received his Certificate of Specialty in Endodontics and Masters in Oral Science at The University of Iowa. After his residency, he joined the faculty at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine and Saint Louis University as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Applied Dental Medicine and Postgraduate Endodontic Program. During his time in dental school, graduate school and teaching, Dr. Holtzmann authored and co-authored several scientific papers as well as authoring a chapter in an endodontic text book. Dave moved to Colorado in January of 2000 to join Endodontics of Colorado, L.L.C.
He is active in several charitable organizations including Kids in Need of Dentistry, the Howard Dental Center, Donated Dental Services and others. Dr. Holtzmann is a member of the Metro Denver Dental Society, the Colorado Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the American Association of Endodontists.
Dr. Jessica Riccobono grew up in the sunshine state of Fort Lauderdale, FL and attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL for her undergraduate studies. After graduating from the Swamp (Go Gators), Dr. Riccobono attended Boston University School of Dental Medicine where she received her DMD degree in 2019. After four years in the beautiful city of Boston, Dr. Riccobono packed her bags and headed to Dallas to begin her Endodontic Residency Program at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry, which she just graduated in September 2021.
Dr. Riccobono is fluent in the Spanish language, is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida, Texas, and Colorado Dental Associations, as well as the American Association of Endodontists.

I have a real fear of going to the dentist due to some really terrifying experiences had in the past, so I'm usually very uneasy whenever I need to go in for dental work. This time around I'm 7 months pregnant with a infection in my old dental bridge. This adds to my anxiety. Immediately walking into Dr. Christensen's office, I'm greeted with friendly smiles from the ladies at the check-in desk. This alone calms my nerves a bit. They were very friendly and welcoming. I want them to know just how much their friendliness helped me to be ok that day. Soon I was called back to have the procedure done. I was nervous not knowing how this was going to affect my baby. And then I heard Mariah's Vision of Love play over the speakers, followed by so many other old school songs that I could relate to. I felt at home. What a playlist! I was able to relax my mind and not think about where I was. Dr. Christensen and his assistants showed so much concern for me and my baby. They ensured that I was comfortable and even asked if I needed a break. I felt well cared for. I felt like I mattered. Dr. Christensen called to check on me later that a same day. Just to make sure I was recovering well. He's an amazing oral surgeon and I am so glad that I found him. I appreciate him and his entire team.

Rita and Dr. Riccobono took time to answer any questions, address my comfort and did not rush my retreatment of a root canal from when I was a child. I was recommended to another location, and after doing research on pricing, Endodontics of Colorado surpassed many locations and provided a friendly and professional service. No one likes to head to the dentist but my time here was done with care. Thx again!

Dr. Holtzmann & Ferida made my first (and hopefully last) root canal experience calm and quick. I was felling very anxious and worried pre-operation. Let me tell you first hand as someone who is terrified of things like this; it's not bad at all.

Dr. Christensen did a great job on my root canal retreatment. I was skeptical that a root canal retreatment would do anything for me. But it did! I got to keep my tooth, took about a week or so for the tooth to completely settle down after the procedure but it seems to be functioning well... chewing, smiling, etc, etc. Price was reasonable too!

Dr. Holtzmann was fantastic as was Ebony and his other staff. I've never had a root canal before and they got me in right away, explained everything thoroughly, and took great care of me. I can't believe how easy it was. Thank you very much!!!!!

Everyone knows that going to the dentist isn't always the best experience or one that we look forward too. I wouldn't want to be under anyone else's care but the dentists here. Very professional, very clean, very gentle, and very thorough. I am absolutely grateful for the services you all provided today.

Who would have known have any root canal by D.M.D.,M.S. Holtzmann would be relaxing. His staff is very professional and walked me though the procedure. Only took 1 Ibuprofen after the root canal but felt so little pain.

Had to go in for a root canal. The facility was very clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and the doctor who did the procedure reached out later to check and see if I was doing okay. I can't say anything financing wise as I have tricare and it was a part of the referral, but otherwise everything I can speak for they did an excellent job.

This is an A+ practice. I saw Dr. Holtzmann and Dr. Christensen and both were friendly, competent, and professional. I started having acute pain and they quickly and politely worked with me to move my appointment up to that day to get me relief. They took the time to answer all my questions clearly and I felt like I had their full attention throughout my appointments with both doctors.They are genuinely available for emergencies. I could not ask for more from a medical provider.

I have had to visit this establishment over the years and they never disappoint. On this last two visits, I was greeted with the exceptionally companionate, friendly and compassionate Lashanda. Dr Christensen is so kind and listens to every single concern without being rushed or dismissive in any way. I was completely confident with the care provided with him and Sonya was amazing too. Dr. Christensen did a fantastic job with my root canal. I went from days and weeks of throbbing pain to nearly instant relief and zero pain. The tooth is doing great. I would highly recommend him both for his skills and his patience in explaining the procedure and options to me.
