In 2006, Dr. Nesari earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco. While at UCSF, he was recognized for clinical, research, and community excellence, with numerous awards and distinctions, including the Chancellors Award, the Bernard Osher Award, and the Delta Dental Scholarship. He went further in training to receive his certificate of Endodontics from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008, as the sole recipient of the Louis I. Grossman Award for Excellence.
Dr. Tran received his dental degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry (UOP) in San Francisco, where he graduated with high honors and was inducted into the OKU Dental Honor Society. Following graduation, he completed a general practice residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelpia, where he gained valuable experience prior to practicing general dentistry. He went on to complete his specialty training in Endodontics at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF), and he has been practicing endodontics in the Bay Area ever since.
Dr. Tran is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Northern California Academy of Endodontists. He is Board Eligible by the American Board of Endodontists.
Dr. Natanya Marracino Brown received her DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2005, followed by a GPR at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and Brigham and Women's Hospital. She received specialty training in endodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry and is board certified by the American Board of Endodontics. She has been in private practice in the SF Bay Area since 2009.
Dr. Marracino is also a certified life and weight loss coach with training from The Life Coach School. She is passionate about helping dentists manage urges to overeat after busy days seeing patients so that they can live their lives at their ideal weight. She is on a mission to help improve the lives of dentists by making mindfulness and wellness more accessible.
Having been raised in Spain and Puerto Rico, she is fluent in Spanish, and looks forward to resuming international travel. She is an avid tennis player and spectator, and can be found on the tennis court practicing her topspin forehand.

Dr Nesari and his team were amazing. Dr Nesari explained each step he was performing and along the way to make me feel comfortable. After the surgery he even texted me to follow up from his phone and answered my text at 7pm! highly recommend!

I had a great experience with Dr Nesari and the staff, everyone was extremely kind and helpful, including Dr Nesari, the assistant and the front desk. My root canal went smoothly and I received multiple messages from the staff following up after the procedure. Highly recommend!!

Warm and welcoming office in the heart of the Mission neighbourhood. Evelyn and the rest of the front desk team is exceptional - highly efficient and thorough. Liz, the dental assistant, is extremely knowledgeable, poised and professional in what she does. Dr Nesari is himself rather extraordinary and his concern and care for his patients is quite remarkable.

Staff and Doctor Nesari were extremely nice and the root canal procedure took was handled almost entirely painless. Felt in best hands and can only recommend! Also has to see Dr Nesari once for an emergency root canal and he helped immediately and super efficiently! Really incredible support!

The clearest and most efficient dental experience I've ever had. Thoughtful, simple illustration of what was going on and what the options were. Simple breakdown of prices and insurance implications. This is how a health business should be run.

I have had all my root canals done by Dr Nesari and him and his team are so nice, they really take the anxiety out of this operation. Knowledgeable, calm, fun and ensure with follow ups, text etc. Five stars!

Such friendly and welcoming staff. They were very accommodating and made the experience easy and pleasant. I highly recommend you check them out! Also they have Spotify and will play any music you request. They also called my insurance(which sucks) and they were able to get them to cover part of the treatment which was such a huge help for me.

Doctor Nasari and his team not only deliver a highly professional care, but also make you feel comfortable and welcome to their office. During my procedure I was given updates of what was going to be done, and how much longer to the end. Highly recommended.

I am always nervous whenever I go to visit the dentist. On this occasion especially I had pain from my back tooth which made me not sleep and eat at all. But, Dr. Nesari put me at ease !! He has a very good bedside manner. His smile, his positive energy and calm initial interaction, and his clear explanation about what caused the tooth pain helped calm me and helped me decide to get the procedure. While performing the procedure in his office, he calmly informed me how my root canal was, how much % of procedure was finished, and how long it took, all with an encouraging, soothing tone. It felt a little like I was in the movie "Fantastic Voyage" where we shrink and travel with a microscopic size submarine into my root canal with Dr. Nesari and his assistant Desiree! Under Dr. Nesari's direction, assistant Desiree was thoughtful and attentive, and receptionist Evelyn was warm and very friendly. The whole staff exudes a very welcoming environment, and demonstrated great team work!

Excellent service. Loved how everyone made me feel comfortable from asking me if I wanted to listen to music to asking me if anything was hurting during the procedure. I would recommend anyone to Roy Nesari's office. Clean environment, friendly as well.

I got into a bike crash and damaged my teeth. Ended up getting referred to this office by my dentist for a root canal! I've never had any extensive dental work done, so naturally I was quite nervous. But Dr. Ma and the entire office staff have been nothing but absolutely incredible. Dr. Ma was knowledgeable, patient, reassuring, and was sure to answer all of my questions extensively, and in plain language. The office contacted my insurance on my behalf and was able to lower my payment by over $200. Everyone checked in with me post root canal to make sure I was feeling okay. To be honest, this office doesn't cater to your classic "silicon valley" clientele. There's no fancy TVs for you to watch while you're getting work done, no $500 succulents in the waiting room, no fancy app for you to use. I've been to those types of dentist offices. But the high quality of care and the all around compassion this office has for you as a patient puts them far above the rest, in my book. Long story long, I wish I could come to this office for my general dentistry needs (instead of just root canals). But if you're in search of an endodontist, I highly recommend this office.
