Dr. Catherine Hebert is originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana where she received her Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Chemistry from McNeese State University. Following this, Dr. Hebert graduated from Louisiana State Universitys School of Dentistry in 1981 and furthered her education with three residencies. To insure the highest quality treatment and best possible outcome, Dr. Hebert continues to enhance her knowledge and skills by traveling around the globe to train with leading endodontists and implant specialists. Dr. Heberts practices focuses on adult endodontistry as well as pediatric endodontistry, endodontistry for patients with special needs of all ages, and work with Veterans Affairs to provide services to honor veterans of the U.S. Military.
In addition to her private practice, Dr. Hebert maintains an Associate Professor position and teaches at LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans where she lectures and is involved with area dental study clubs. Dr. Hebert is also an active member of the Northlake Dental Association where she currently serves as active Secretary and Director. In the past, Dr. Hebert has been President of the NDA. She further maintains active involvement with the Louisiana Dental Association as a board member, a delegate to the American Dental Association, and a recent nominee to the International College of Dentists.
Based on her hospital training, Dr. Hebert maintains special certifications in the area of patient sedation. She actively pursues an average of 100-200 hours of continuing education annually to maintain her position as a leader in the field of endodontics. In 2007, Dr. Hebert completed an implant residency, believing that her knowledge of this field would help her to better counsel patients on the decision of whether to treat or pull problem teeth. Her extensive knowledge of and expertise in implant site preparation has helped many patients have successful implants when their natural tooth could not be saved. However, Dr. Hebert does extensive micro-endodontistry procedures with state-of-the-art laser technology to do everything possible to save a patients natural tooth.
Dr. Hebert has been on the Northshore since 1986. She and her husband, Steven Carpenter, have two children, Kevin and Katie. Dr. Hebert enjoys traveling and cooking. She developed an extensive recipe collection which she shares with her patients.
Steven is Dr. Heberts husband and together they have created the Endodontic & Implant Center. He was born and raised in Luling, LA and now currently resides on the Northshore. Stevens background is in computer programming and computer network installation and support. He wrote and supported endodontic practice software for 15 years and has been working in this practice since 1993 as office manager, IT support and dental assisting. He and Dr. Hebert have 2 children and 1 daughter-in-law. Stevens other interests include fishing, sports, traveling, chess, movies and stock market investing.
Bonnie was born in New Orleans and raised in Metairie. She has been with the Endodontic & Implant Center since 2010 and has been working in the Endodontic field for over thirty years. Bonnie has been married to her husband, Jack, for over 40 years. She has two grown children and five grandchildren. Bonnie loves to ride her bike and also loves going to all sports activities with her grandchildren.
Carolyn was born in New Orleans, raised in Metairie and currently resides in Mandeville. She has been with the Endodontic & Implant Center since 2008 and has been working as an Endodontic Administrative Asst for over 30 years. She is an ADA Certified Dental Insurance Coder and handles all of our patient insurance needs. Carolyn has 3 children and 9 grandchildren. Her hobbies include going on cruises and interior decorating.
Maria was born in West Point, New York and raised in Hammond, LA where she currently resides. She has been in dentistry for over 30 years and has been with the Endodontic & Implant Center since 2016. Maria is married and has 3 children, 2 step-children and 4 grandchildren. Marias other interests include her dogs Betty and Ginger, working in her yard and going down the Tangipahoa river.
Taylor was born and raised in Hammond, LA where she currently resides. She started working with at the Endodontic & Implant Center in 2018 as a dental lab assistant and was trained to be a dental assistant by Dr. Hebert. Taylor is married and recently had her first baby boy, Cooper in 2020. She enjoys traveling whenever she get the chance.
Shelly was born and raised in Louisiana and currently resides in Covington with her husband Joe, and two boys, Luke & Chase. Shelly has over 20 years experience combined in the dental and medical field. She worked with the Endodontic & Implant Center many years ago before pursuing other interests. We are delighted to have her back as part of our team. Shelly maintains an active realtors license where she and her husband renovate homes. Shelly continually seeks continuing education and enjoys reading. She enjoys working for a family-owned practice that not only gives God the glory, but seeks every day to provide cutting edge, quality care.

Dr. Catherine Hebert was so professional and gentle I had a root canal she explained everything in detail as she was going thru the steps. Her staff was also very courteous and friendly! Her husband was also there and very nice ! And they give you soup to take home that was a added plus ! Definitely recommend using her !

I have the best experience here. I was referred to see Dr. Hebert from several people. From walking in the front desk was so welcoming. Ms. Darlene could tell I was nervous and she put me at ease and made feel so comfortable. She was amazing. Dr. Hebert was amazing, very thorough and checked in on me after my procedure. No pain at all during the procedure. They send you home with some yummy soup! I will recommend everyone! The whole team is awesome!

Dr. Hebert is truly amazing. We are so lucky to have her right here in Mandeville. Hands down the best dental experience I have ever had. She and her staff are so kind, considerate, and personable. Not to mention professional! I went to Dr. Hebert because of some pain on a tooth that received a root canal and crown around 4 years ago. She identified two additional canals that were not previously visible. She is very skilled, gentle and ensures you understand the process she is following. Her office is beautifully decorated, comfortable and has up to date technology to identify issues my regular dentist could not. Darlene made sure I was comfortable for my procedure and brought me a blanket to use. I also received home made soup! It was truly a great experience and the whole time I was smiling and laughing. Thank you to Dr. Hebert, Steve, Darlene and Bonnie! I appreciate you all so much and will definitely recommend this office for any and all root canal/implant treatments because y'all truly care and it shows.

I'm terrified of needles so the thought of having a root canal put me over the top. Dr. Hebert and her staff were incredibly calming, compassionate, and sincere. I never experience any pain or discomfort during or after the procedure. Grateful for the excellent care I received.

I first came to Dr. Herbert for a molar extraction and implant. The Dr and all of her staff are very nice and helpful. They go above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable before, during, and after all procedures. They even send you home with soup! I would highly recommend Dr Herbert to anyone needing any special dental work done. Since going through the implant process with them, they are now my regular endodontist.

Today I had an appointment to have 2 root canals. I really didn't know what to expect and a little nervous. Dr. Catherine Hebert and her staff made me feel so special. They even sent me home with some homemade soup, which was delicious! I went to work a few hours later with no pain. To top the day off, Dr. Hebert even texted to see how I was feeling and if I needed anything. She is the most personable person I've ever met. I feel like she really cares. I even asked her if She could put my crown on too! She explained that she doesn't but she knows a good Dr. that does. So I'm going to book my appointment with him! May God continue to bless Dr. Hebert so she can continue to be a blessing to others.

Today I had an appointment to have my root canal done. I'm genuinely nervous when I need to have anything done with my teeths. Dr. Catherine Hebert and her staff made me feel so special and went absolutely above. I felt so comfortable and taking care of! I could choose from goodies and went home with delicious soup. After few hours Dr. Catherine Hebert texted to see how I was feeling and if I needed anything. I absolutely adore that she really cares about her patients! You will definitely love your experience at her office. I will recommend her to anyone I know. Thank you so very much once again. You're simply the BEST!

I have had 2 root canals done in the past year and both experiences were overall exceptional! Catherine, her husband, and entire staff could not have been more friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I had zero pain throughout and after both procedures. I didn't even have to take the pain meds. I would highly HIGHLY recommend them

I was very apprehensive to have a root canal so I kept putting it off. I recently had on by Dr Hebert and it was a pleasant experience. I was comfortable and did not feel anything. I was so amazed on how well she takes care of her patients as it is a rare find.

Dr. Hebert seriously went above and beyond for me. I was a nervous wreck but we had a consultation where she introduced herself and provided ample comfort measures. I met her wonderful staff that day also and felt at home with each member of the team. The day of my root canal, she was so thorough, polite, and told me what was going on every step of the way. She followed up the evening of my root canal to make sure I was feeling okay. She honestly cares about you as a person.Probably the best dental experience I've had!

Dr. Catherine Hebert is a wonderful Endodontic. I had an appointment with Dr. Catherine Hebert for a root canal. I had heard so many horror stories that I was very apprehensive about the procedure. When I first enter the office I was greeted by friendly staff members. The rooms are decorated to put in a calming mood for a stressful procedure. Her technicians and assistants had treated me with kindness and respect. Dr. Hebert came in and right off made me feel at ease. She explained the procedure and made sure I didn't feel pain or discomfort. Her husband was her assistant and they talked about friends and funny situations which made me feel more at ease. Even after my procedure that night, Dr. Hebert contacted me to see how I was doing. They even contacted me the next day to see how I was doing. And on top of all that, she even gave me a bowl of homemade soup to take home. It was delicious! I highly recommend Dr.Catherine Hebert and staff.

Dr. Hebert was so kind and patient with me. Having a procedure like that was rather nerve racking but she made it as painless as possible. She even gave me Minestrone soup to take home and called me the next day. Extremely kind and professional doctor. I would definitely choose her again without hesitation.

Dr. Hebert and all of her staff maintained a very professional, but relaxed setting for an uncomfortable ordeal. I felt Dr. Hebert and her nurse put my comfort above everything else that was going on. They appeared confident and calm throughout a difficult two hour procedure. Don Rickles laugh your heart out, I wouldn't hesitate to get another root canal at this practice. Got in quickly and insurance business was easily taken care of.
