Dr. Alan Wonhee Leeattended the College of Dental Medicine at Columbia University, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. During his senior year at Columbia, Dr. Lee was also elected to the honorsprogram and received the Empire State Academy of CosmeticDentistry Award.
His passion for preserving natural dentition ledhim to continue his education at the School of Dentistry at Marquette University, where hecompleted his endodontic specialty training.While at Marquette, Dr. Lee also earned a master of science degree andwas awarded the Advanced Dental Specialist GraduateResidency Endowed Scholarship and Post-Graduate ScholarshipAwards.
Before attending Columbia University for his dental degree, Dr. Lee served as a Military Dental Specialist in the US Army. During his service, he received numerous commendations, including the Army Commendation Medal from the Secretary of the US Army.
Dr. Lee's research has been presented at the American Association for Dental Research's annual meeting and published in numerous prestigious journals. Also, he continues to lecture at various continuing education classes. As a member of the Dean's Faculty at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, he currently teaches dental students and residents on his in-depth knowledge of endodontics and microsurgery.
Currently, Dr. Lee practices both surgical and non-surgical, laser-, and microscope-enhanced endodontics in his private practice in Reston, Virginia. His highest priority is providing the highest quality of personalized care for hispatients using the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutictechnologies available.
