The journey began in a small suburb of Mumbai, India, the city which never sleeps with a population of over 21 million today. I was born in India and immigrated to America in the year 2000. After receiving a warm big Texas style welcome in Dallas,Texas, I have returned back home after a break to pursue advanced education in sunny California at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. I had the opportunity to become a Trojan twice with a Doctor in Dental Surgery (DDS) and also a certificate in Endodontics. I graduated with honors and an induction into Omicron Kappa Epsilon, the national dental honor society. As a part-time clinical instructor at USC, School of Dentistry in the Urgent Care Center gave me an opportunity to train dental students in the diagnosis, management and treatment of patients presenting with dental pain.
Being a dentist for 20 years has allowed me the opportunity to enjoy all aspects of dentistry and pursue one of my long term passions which is Endodontics. The precision and advances in the diagnosis and treatment of root canal related conditions had always excited me and continues to do so everyday. Along this journey I was fortunate to have some small and big milestones.
I am a fellow and founding member of The International Academy of Endodontics, faculty at International Endodontic Institute and in addition I am active member of various other specialist organizations. I have the privilege to serve on the advisory board of the DFW dental study club which is an affiliate of the prestigious Seattle study club.
Over the years I have published clinical papers on topics in endodontics and have won several awards for presentations at state and national levels. I have presented at a number of conferences both locally and nationally.
My accomplishments are hollow without the love and support of my friends, family and most importantly my patients! I enjoy the interaction with my patients and accept the challenge of alleviating fears associated with the thought of having a root canal procedure.
My wife and I have two beautiful daughters and call Lantana home. In my spare time,I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, dancing with my daughters, new age music, reading, entertaining and I plan to learn some golf.
Dr. Wang received her DMD degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. At CWRU, Dr. Wang earned many accolades including honors for exceptional academic and clinical performance and membership to the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. She was the recipient of the American Association of Endodontists Student Achievement Award. Following graduation, she continued at CWRU where she earnedher MSD and Certificate in Endodontics.Dr. Wangs main area of interest is the outcome of endodontic treatment. She has multiple publications on this topic in the Journal of Endodontics, the official journal of the American Association of Endodontists.
Dr. Wang is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, and Texas Dental Association.Dr. Wang is committed to evidence-based endodontic treatment, while treating every patient like family.
Dr. Countryman was born in Dallas and grew up in East Texas. He earned his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M University. He then completed his DDS training at Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas where he was on the Deans List each year and was selected to be a member of the Odontological Honor Society and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Society. After dental school, he completed a 2-year residency program at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA where he received an MSD and certificate in Endodontics. At UW, he was involved in research in the field of regenerative endodontics. He is committed to providing excellent care and making patients feel comfortable. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists.
Dr. Countryman and his wife, Laura are happy to be back home in the DFW area with family and friends. He enjoys traveling, being outdoors, playing golf and following his favorite teams the Rangers, Mavs and Cowboys.

I was told by my Dentist that I might need a root canal at 8:30am, referred to EE, at 12:30pm confirmed I needed a root canal and by 2:30pm I was pain free. TY for the excellent care I received.

Absolutely an actual 5star review. Had an issue at first but Dr Countryman went the 9 yards to fix it. He talked me into a root canal from a problematic tooth for the last 4 years (2 fillings, 2 crowns and a hidden abscess which turned into a major infection and surgery). I was done, wanted it out but he saved the day and my tooth...could he be a hero? Another hero who saved my face from exploding was Dr. Anver who did the surgery for the infection. Thanks guys and thanks to the staff!

Dr Raj is the best! He takes great pride in his work and had a great follow up program to make sure his patient is healing properly. He is very good at making you feel at ease about your procedure! I would recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Patel is amazing. My eight year old son chipped his tooth and needed emergency dental attention. Dr Patel was able to work him the same day and we have come up with a dental plan. No eight year old wants to get dental surgery, but Dr. Patel was kind and patient with him explaining everything on his level and remembering so much from visit to visit. He kept him calm and did a wonderful job. I cannot recommend him enough.

I recently had three root canals over a one week period administered by Dr. Rajiv Patel in the Flower Mound office. While I cannot say having root canals done is a pleasant experience, I can say that Dr. Patel and his staff made the experience stress free and relatively painless. From the first phone contact to my entrance into the office, Randi and Manta made me feel welcome and comfortable. They handled the paperwork quickly and efficiently. Dr. Patel's expertise and skill is evident in every step of the complicated procedure, and he does everything possible to alleviate pain and concern. During the procedure, Nyree checked frequently to make sure I had everything I needed, including a blanket and the right music. I was especially impressed that Lillian remembered me from a previous visit and just stopped by the room to say hello. If you are faced with needing a root canal, I highly recommend you choose Dr. Patel and his amazing staff.

Most comfortable procedure of my life! Dr Patel is witty and full of humor and tricks to make this as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. He knew how to take my front tooth, which shattered internally as a kid, and make it bright white again after years of this dark, embarrassing, mark on my self esteem. Highly recommend!

My Dentist referred me to Dr. Patel for my root canal. Never had that type of dental experience before, and historical comments I guess everyone hears led me to believe there would be discomfort during and following the procedure. WRONG! I experienced no pain during or since. Dr Patel and his staff are the real deal.

I could not be happier with Dr. Patel and Endodontic Excellence! I've had nothing but wonderful experiences with Dr. Patel and his staff so much I keep trying to persuade Dr. Patel to provide full dental services (cleanings, invisaline, etc.)! I could not recommend Endodontic Excellence and Dr. Patel enough. I have had my share of scare experiences and this is truly the first time I have felt this comfortable with a dental physician.

Dr.Countryman and his assistant were great! I was really nervous to get my first root canal done but my experience went really well. He also went out of his way to make sure I could get an appointment at a time I was available to finish my dental work. I'm really glad I was referred here and will definitely come back if I ever need endodontic work again.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Patel. I was very anxious about getting my root canal because I had heard so many bad stories, but Dr. Patel put me at ease and it ended up being no big deal at all. It was completely painless. He said I might want some Advil after the procedure, but I never needed it. I had to have a second root canal two months later and I went in without a care, knowing I was in good hands. I just had my two year checkup. I've never had any issue and Dr. Patel says everything looks perfect. You can't help but like Dr. Patel. He's funny, caring, and as far as I can tell, the very best at what he does.

Dr. Wang is amazing! Spot on service by staff! I was in considerable pain . They took me in immediately and I walked out 2 hours later. Up and running the next day back to normal. Highly recommend

Amazing experience! I was in an enormous amount of pain and since I wasn't going to get in until the following day, Dr. Countryman called me late in the afternoon to be sure I would be ok and to see if I had something for pain management until I could get in to see him the following morning in Flower Mound. Upon arrival, the office staff was fantastic and Dr. Countryman and his Assistant were both so kind. I was in enormous pain and visibly swollen from an infection and he quickly uncovered the issue and tackled the procedure in a way that I never even felt a thing. And I got to wear cool shades and watch tv ha! I walked out feeling immediate relief and am so incredibly grateful. They were both so kind and attentive and despite why I was there, the visit was extremely pleasant. I will be back for any endodontic needs and have already told several friends that I have a great Endodontist if they ever need it. A HUGE thank you for taking such great care of me.
