Dr. Kelley is a Kentucky native. He was born in Owensboro, KY and graduated from Franklin County High School in 1987. Dr. Kelley earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 1995 where he graduated with Honors.
Dr. Kelleys training beyond Dental School includes a General Practice residency at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH where he was honored with the title of Chief Resident. Dr. Kelley obtained his Endodontic Specialty Certificate and a Master of Science (M.S.) Degree for Dental Research at Saint Louis University. Dr. Kelley has served on the faculties of the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry and Southern Illinois College of Dental Medicine as an Associate Professor.
Dr. Kelley is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, the Kentucky Dental Association, and is a former Executive Board Member of both the Kentucky Association of Endodontists and the Bluegrass Dental Society.
Ashley is a Lexington native and graduated from Medquest. She has worked as one of Dr. Kelley's chair side dental assistants since 2019. She has a very calming effect on all of our patients and is here to guide you through every aspect of your root canal therapy.
Savhanna has over 10 years of Dental Assisting experience and has been a lead chair sideassistant with Dr. Kelley since 2017. She will be by your side every step of the way calming you and answering any treatment questions you may have.

I've had two root canals over the past 5 years and both have been without any complications, problems or pain during the procedure. There was no issues afterwards and I was eating within hour's of leaving his office.

As always such a pleasure to be seen here. Had a crown put on a tooth a few weeks back, had a bit of discomfort around that tooth last week. They got me in first thing, went thru all the tests, answered all my questions. Didn't push a root canal on me, was said to be seemingly fine and call if it causes any issues. Always good to get checked out just in case. Best Endodontics office in Kentucky.

I went to Dr. Kelly for a root canal.... was very nervous.. but EVERYONE there was superb!! The front desk to the imaging person and Dr. Kelly and his assistant... he told me EVERYTHING i would hear and feel...I had no pain and was finished quickly.. this is a wonderful place to go for care!!

Very positive experience with Dr. Kelley and his staff. I was so scared to have my first root canal but they made me very comfortable and calm throughout. I was finished and back out the door in less than an hour. Highly recommend!

First off I'll start by saying, I loathe going to the dentist! I was not definitely not happy having to go the root canal route. However, Dr. Kelly and his staff were amazing! So amazing that I may have dozed off for a second! He let me know when he was using something different, what sound it would make, etc. I'm always leary of how I'll feel when the numbness wears off but I've had no pain what so ever since leaving his office. Thank you all for easing my fears, I would highly recommend their office!

Awesome place and staff are amazing. They fit me into the schedule the same day I called. I was very nervous, as this was my first ever root canal. Dr. Kelley made sure I felt no pain the entire time and told me what I would hear when he would start using a different tool. I would highly recommend this place!

Dr. Kelley and the staff at Lexington Endodontic Center are the best. After years of hearing about how terrible root canal procedures were, I found that the two that I've had with doctor Kelley were easier and with less discomfort than getting a filling or other more routine procedures. They are great at what they do.

Can't say enough good things about Dr. Kelly & Ashley & the rest of the staff. While it's never a pleasant experience to have a root canal they did make the process as comfortable as possible. Dr. Kelly was so very kind & took great care to insure my comfort throughout the entire process. Hopefully I'll never need another root canal but if I do I will most certainly return to Endodontic Center of Lexington. I highly recommend them, you'll be well taken care of!

I had to have a root canal re-treatment- basically they re-root-canaled it. This was 2 days ago and I just finished eating a steak burrito like nothing ever happened. Zero pain or sensitivity of any kind. They were super fast and friendly.

The scheduling was handled flexibly and efficiently to allow me to have the root canal procedure very promptly. The support staff and technicians have compassion and expertise. Dr. Kelley is experienced and attentive. I particularly appreciated his communication, informing me of what to anticipate st each stage of the process. While no one wants to undergo a root canal, the Endodontic Center of Lexington is superlative.

I went to dr. Kelly for a root canal cause by irreversible pulpitis due to a crown procedure and couldn't be happier. They got me in when the appointment was with very little wait. I was hoping for same day consult and procedure and it was where most dentistry would have required another appointment for the procedure. The staff both front and back end were quick and competent. It was also the most painless experience I've had at the dentist for anything. I couldn't even feel the needle for the anesthesia going in. It was also a relieve to not feel that pain anymore and be able to eat again within the day. For an emergency dental practice the cost wasn't much more than I would have paid with my regular dentist. Definitely recommend for quick result.
