This is the type of review that I didn't anticipate writing. I didn't want to have a root canal but it was necessary. There wasn't one thing that I can complain about. The staff and dentist were all extremely friendly and professional. It was explained to me step by step what would happen. The staff was so caring and concerned about my well being. I never had any pain at all. I hope I don't need their services again in the near future but if I do I would return to them. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Gorham.

Dr. Funteas is easily the best dentist I have ever seen. I even asked her dental assistant if she does normal dentist check-ups, cleanings, etc. because I would love to have a dentist like her. Dr. Funteas was both kind and informative throughout the entire appointment, which made me feel absolutely relaxed and cared for. I have pretty severe dental anxiety, so this is always a must for me. I don't think most dentists realize how important it is to explain the process to patients who walk in already nervous and worried about the appointment. The root canal process in took about 45 painless minutes in total - I was totally shocked at how smoothly it all went. She's like a well-oiled machine!! Dr. Funteas explained the entire procedure to me both before she started working and during the procedure. If you have to see a dentist for a root canal therapy procedure, you need to see Dr. Funteas. She is quite literally the best I've ever seen!

All aspects of my visit were fantastic from the front desk to the assistants and especially Dr. They took into consideration other medical conditions and made sure that I would be safe and pain free. I would highly recommend this office.

Sounds odd to say a root canal was a wonderful experience but it truly was. The entire staff at the Franklin office is great and Dr. Urania Funteas made me so comfortable. She explained everything that was going to happen before, during, and after the process. Her work was swift yet thorough and I was pain-free the entire time!

Dr. Gorham and her assistant were amazing before, during and after my procedure. They explained everything in detail including risks (which in my case could have been substantial) with patience and compassion. I'm grateful for the positive experience and would absolutely recommend this practice.

I have received services from Dr. Funteas several times and each time my experience has been positive. I love the fact that she clearly explains the process and articulates what to expect from the procedure .Best of all is there is minimal to no pain. The office is immaculately clean and I appreciate the hygienic steps in place. Dr. Funteas is the best !

All staff from making the appointment, billing insurance, and day of procedure were knowledgeable, friendly and informative. Dr. Bissada explained the procedure, assured me it would be painless and informed me of the progress throughout the procedure. He took the time after the procedure to explain aftercare. I was impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of Dr Bissada and his team.

Dr. Funteas lacks compassion for patients who have anxiety and fear about dental work. She needs training on mental health, anxiety and how to provide COMPASSIONATE CARE.

Dr Funteas showed my daughter and I today that she has very little understanding or compassion for patients who suffer from extreme anxiety, or for their parents who work so hard to help them through. When it looked as though my daughter may not be able to get herself through the procedure, Dr Funteas said quite angrily "I set aside my time for you. It is NOT to be wasted. You will be charged for my time and you can find care elsewhere. She really needs to be put under at children's with this level of fear." I explained that we tried that route, but they couldn't fit her in for this procedure before she aged out of their practice. She said, "Right. Well that's exactly the problem isn't it? Im trying to help you out. " Translation: I'm your last chance so tough it out and don't waste my precious time. I actually had to ask her to stop scolding us, and just focus on how to help the patient! My girl did get herself through it..... but Dr Funteas was MUCH more concerned about her time and being compensated for it than she was for my daughter or I. She made an already anxiety provoking situation much worse than it had to be. I felt scolded, bullied, misunderstood, and demeaned. It was horrible.
