Highly Recommend! Was really dreading my first root canal, and Lauren and Sammie were so very kind. Juanita took great care of me, and Dr. Horn made it as quick and comfortable as possible. Is it weird to enjoy a dental experience? These folks are top notch!

I consider myself a high tolerance and endurance of pain. The last 3 out of 5 visits to him testified that. On those occasions, in mid-stream drilling to fix my root, my body literally jump from my seat. Somehow the localized anesthetic wasn't enough and my natural body reacted to it. The straw that broke the camel's back was my most recent visit while waiting for the anesthetic to kick in, I rubbed my tongue on that tooth and noticed that I can still feel sensation which I bought to his attention. His answer was "I am not drilling your tongue" and proceeded ahead totally ignoring my feedback. Sure enough, my body jumped again mid-stream. No apologies, no explanation but he finally resorted to numb me further. What I saw was his ego kicking in, not just this time but it has been consistent throughout all of my visits, Dr Pawluk, if you're reading this. Just remember, we are humans. You and I make errors in our career, decisions, or relationship one time or another. But when we must do is at these times is to hang our ego at the door as we learned from each incident. Doesn't appear you want that and worst still, you showed no respect for your customer/patient. And when that happens, each of us must find the courage to walk away from any relationships (be it attorney to client, doctor to patient or manager to staff) if respect is no longer being served. Hopefully current and future patients know what you are dealing with and who you are walking into. All the best.

Dr. Pawluk and his staff did a wonderful job for my son (under 13). He needed a root canal and was very nervous about the procedure. The staff and Dr. Pawluk made him feel much more comfortable on the day of the procedure. After the procedure was done the office gave me information about post care and what needs to be done in the future with the tooth. I would highly recommend this office to anyone who needs this type of procedure. They communicated very clear what was going to be done and even my son was surprised how easy it was after the fact. Thank you!

My son had multiple fractured and misplaced teeth during a floor hockey incident in PE. He was immediately seen by his pediatric dentist who referred us to Dr Pawluk. Dr Pawluk saw my son within 24 hours of injury. He examined and scanned our son and stated the injury was pretty bad. He noted that the teeth were splinted and stated his treatment was more or less on a wait and see basis. He assumed our son would eventually need a root canal and sent us back to our pediatric dentist to monitor. Our son had X-rays one month post injury and per pediatric dentist, everything seemed to be more than ok for the time being. Two weeks after that, Dr Pawluk stated that our son needs not one but two root canals ASAP. His schedule permitted him the procedure to be done in 2 weeks. I asked his office staff to inform me if there were any cancellations as Dr Pawluk said it was fairly urgent. Within a few days of his recommendation, I opted to get a second opinion. I called Pawluk's office to get his records and told them I was getting a second opinion. The day after that, I received a call from his staff telling me that doctor wanted to cancel my appointment. When I asked why he wished to cancel my appointment, I insisted that my appointment for his root canals should still stay and I would cancel in a timely fashion if we chose another endodontist. Within a half hour of speaking to his office staff, I received a call from Dr Pawluk himself. He told me that he had canceled my sons appointment. He also told me that I have known for six weeks that my son needs a root canal. That was a blatant lie. There was no mention of an immediate root canal until he saw my son at week 6. When I asked him if he's ever had a second opinion on anything, he told me I've had six weeks to get one. He was rude, unwilling to hear me challenge his blatant lie and eventually hung up the phone while I was mid sentence. Very unprofessional and dishonest. Take your kids elsewhere.

Pre-procedure, we had lots of questions regarding my Stepson's care, and Dr. Pawluk and his team answered them all. Dr. Pawluk took great care of my Stepson, while calming him down. His tooth was successfully saved as he treated his neglected tooth by root canal, which can be a scary procedure for a child. We will follow the aftercare as you provided which includes getting him into a dentist for a routine filling. We would definitely recommend your office for any child in need. Thank you!!

Dr. John Pawluk completed a root canal for me today, and it was as if I was obtaining a regular cleaning. (No pain at all) The Dr. and his assistant made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. Thank you, for taking me on short notice and getting me out of pain. The staff was very welcoming and personable.

My dentist send me to Dr P to see if a failed root canal could be saved. At my initial appointment with Dr P he told me the tooth could not be saved and extraction was needed. The day of the extraction already feeling terrified, Dr P came in and had me mixed up with another patient. He was rude and unempathetic towards me. I left the office crying after the extraction. I returned to have the stitches removed, his assistant seemed like she was in a rush and basically ripped the stitches out . I informed the front desk I would not be returning after that. That whole ordeal cost a thousand dollars.

Great Clinic, great stuff. Wishing his explanations were more elaborate and geared towards people who are not endodontist (writing for my husband, Jason Hatfield)

From the beginning to the end of the process, the registration was electronic that process saved time and allowed me to get in the seat to receive the services in a timely manner (I really like that feature), ...

My initial visit for Dr. Pawluk was for a root canal. Naturally, I was really nervous because I've heard nothing but how awful root canals are... Add a pandemic on top of it, and I was a little more on edge. In talking with Dr. Pawluk, his assistants, and the reception staff, I can't say anything but good things about how welcoming and friendly the staff is here. They make you feel like family, whether you're in the office or on the phone, and it put me at ease for my procedure.

I was referred to Dr. Pawluk's office for a root canal. It was a quick and easy process and I had little to no pain. All of the staff members I encountered were friendly and professional--would definitely recommend.

I walked in and was greeted warmly. A professional and well staffed office. Handled customer questions well and even tackled the insurance company. A well appointed and clean office focused on COVID safety for everyone - latest equipment and technology are being used. An experienced and capable dentist with a sense of humor - fully explained everything before he did it to put you at ease. If you gotta go - this is a FANTASTIC place to find yourself.

I am extremely pleased with everyone at Endodontic Associates of Illinois. Dr. Jaweesh and the entire staff were wonderful, caring, supportive and willing to do what was necessary to solve my problem (including negotiating time slots between Dr. Pawluk and Dr. Jaweesh). Everything was done in one day and I can only say that it was because of the work and cooperation of the entire staff that this was accomplished quickly, efficiently and with as little discomfort as possible. Thank you all very much!

3 weeks after getting a crown for a back molar, I started getting a severe toothache. Went to my dentist, who did a great job, and he explained that sometimes a cracked tooth can get worse after a crown. He referred me to Endodontic Associates of Illinois. I called and they got me in the next morning for a consultation. Dr Nisreen Jaweesh saw me and confirmed that I did need a root canal. They got me in that afternoon. I was not sure what to expect, never had one before but had heard horror stories about the procedure. Have to say it was like being at a tooth spa! I was given the best and kindest treatment from all the staff. I actually snoozed during part of it towards the end! :-) No one wants to hear they have to have a root canal, but if you do check out Dr. Pawluk's practice. They were wonderful.
