Dr. Ramon Hernandez graduated with a DMD degree from Universidad Metropolitana in Barranquilla. He was a research associate in the area of dental implants at the Institute for Facial Aesthetics in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania from 1989 though 1997. He earned his certificate in Endodontics from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia in 1992. After graduating as an Endodontist he continued at Temple University as a faculty member until 1997 and also earned his DMD degree in 1995. Dr. Hernandez has published many articles and lectures in the fields of Dental Implants and Endodontics nationally and internationally. He is a past President of the Brevard County Dental Society and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Central Florida District Association, the Florida Association of Endodontists, the American Association of Endodontists, the Southern Endodontic Study Group and the International Association of Dental Traumatology. He is also currently on staff at the dental department of Holmes Regional Hospital in Melbourne, Florida.

I had never had a root canal and dreaded it. It was easier than a cleaning. They had a nice graphic presentation to explain what they would do. It was totally painless. Including afterward. I highly recommend this group.

Went to Dr. Hernandez on referral from my regular dentist. From the phone call, to set up an appointment in the Titusville office, to the actual appointment to have the root canal done, I don't feel I could have been in better hands. Everything was explained to me in detail as to what would be done. Being able to fill out the initial paperwork and submit it online is a big advantage. If I had any questions they were thoroughly answered. During the actual procedure the only thing I felt, at all, was the injection for numbing my gums and that really wasn't that bad at all. Dr. Hernandez and his assistant made sure, during the whole procedure, that I was okay. They give you written instructions for what to do after the root canal is done and they follow it up with a phone call the next day to make sure you're not in any pain or feeling any discomfort. Once the novacaine wore off I was fine. I felt no pain or discomfort at all. Dr. Hernandez is one of the best endodontist in Brevard County and his staff is top-notch as well.

I just had my first visit for a root canal. The whole staff was great. The assistant and Doctor were very friendly, I had local numbing and zero pain afterwards.
