Dr. Ben Wheeler grew up in Blackshear, GA. He completed his Bachelors of Science from the University of Georgia and his Masters of Arts from Boston University School of Medicine. After graduating from the Dental College of Georgia (formerly Medical College of Georgia) with his D.M.D. degree, Dr. Wheeler accepted an endodontic residency position at The University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center. He performed research on root canal configurations using cone beam computed tomography scans which he presented at the AAE annual meeting.
In his second year of residency, Dr. Wheeler won the John T. McSpadden Spirit of Service award for clinical excellence, scholarly activity, & altruism. Dr. Wheeler is board eligible & an active member of the American Association of Endodontists as well as the as American Dental Association.
Dr. Wheeler loves the science behind endodontics as well as putting his patients at ease before their procedure. Dr. Wheeler resides in the Atlanta area and has many interests outside of Endodontics including cheering on his Georgia Bulldogs.
Dr. Shah received Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Florida. During his training at University of Florida, he acquired numerous accolades and awards. He was on Deans List for three years in a row. He was also chosen for prestigious Pierre Fauchard Academy Award and L .D. Penkey Institute Student Award in Periodontics and Prosthodontics for excellence in dentistry. He furthered his training to receive his certificate of Endodontics-a specialty training from the University of Florida in 2001. Dr. Shah is a specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists, and maintains active membership in numerous professional associations. He stays at the forefront of endodontic clinical advances with particular emphasis on 3D CT imaging, endodontic microsurgery, and retreatments.
Dr. Shah serves as the President for Georgia Association of Endodontists. He is also a member of American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association and Southern Endodontic Study Group. He serves on the committee of Hinman Dental Society
Dr. Shah gives back to the community by volunteering at Ben Massell Clinic and Fayette Dental Clinic. Dr. Shah lives in Peachtree city with his wife and two children. In his free time, he likes to spend time in the outdoors, playing and watching the game of cricket, hiking the trails of beautiful mountains across the country and particularly enjoys Silver Comet Trail. He likes to travel and he enjoys spending his free time with his wife and daughters.

None of us expect nor desire this kind of procedure, however, it happens when we least expect it despite the care we give to our oral health. Should you ever need root canal treatment, this place is outstanding for superior work, compassionate care, great service, attention to detail and all questions answered. I've been multiple times and they never disappoint!

I was referred to another Endodontic and wanted someone closer to home. I did my own google search and narrowed it down and I called and made an appointment. I am so glad I did. I had to get a previous root canal not done correctly redone and this procedure throughout the entire process was the most professional from the front office to the communications on the phone until Dr. Shah completed the work. I will not go anywhere else and I have already recommended others to come here. One of the most professional practices you will meet. If there was a 6th star they would have gotten it.

Bhavik Shah, DMD, BDS, MDS, just had a root canal done by Dr Shah. Excellent service and his assistant was very attentive, I waited a few days to leave a review to see what my pain level was like, very little pain after procedure. I highly recommend him.

I've had several root canal procedures from Dr. Shah over the years. Each one has been successful with no complications. But the most recent involved a questionable situation where I had to decide which of two teeth was giving me pain. Dr. Shah, through diligence and professional diagnostics found that it was neither of the two suspects. He was correct, and now I'm pain free from only ONE root canal instead of multiple. I'll always trust his professionalism and skill.

The best Endodontist ever!!! In the past i have had several root canalsfrom others and experience the worst. However, Dr. Shaw was gentle and professional and understanding!!! The best!!!

I'll be seeing Dr Shah Thursday for the 3rd root canal he's done on me in the last 20 years. He is VERY GOOD ... As professional as I've ever seen...
