Dr. Rob Hochberg was raised on the east coast, and grew up outside of Philadelphia. After dental school, Dr. Rob and his wife, Monica, decided to have their wedding in Santa Fe, where they were married in June of 2018. Over the course of a few visits out west, they fell in love with Albuquerque and the state of New Mexico, and started pursuing making it their home.
Dr. Rob attended NYU College of Dentistry in New York City, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class. He stayed on at NYU for two years following dental school, for residency in Endodontics, where he served as chief resident both years. Dr. Hochberg worked on bringing several scientific research papers to publication while in school. Following graduation from residency, he worked for three years in the Philadelphia area in private practice. Dr. Rob took over Endodontic Associates of Albuquerque in the beginning of 2019, with great help from mentor and friend, Dr. Robert Chavez.
Dr. Rob and his wife enjoy all aspects of outdoor life, and love to bring their pup Benson along with them exploring their new home. Monica and Rob love riding their bikes, fishing, hiking and travelling. They feel truly happy to be part of such a wonderful community, and plan on staying involved with community outreach and volunteer work both with dentistry, and with animals, for life.
Dr. Rob was fantastic! This was my first root canal and I was very apprehensive and nervous. Dr. Rob made me feel very relaxed and explained very clearly what to expect. The whole procedure went very well - I highly recommend Dr. Rob and his staff for your dental needs.

Dr. Hochberg is AMAZING! He saved the tooth that is an anchor for my 'Million dollar bridge!' (My front teeth) I am SO thankful that my dentist, Dr. Leibold, recommended me to him. Every time I smile I will think of Dr. Robert Hochberg!
I was very nervous about having a root canal done and Dr. Hochberg made me feel at ease and was very caring. The procedure was done and successful with little or no pain. I would definitely recommend him.
Don't go anywhere else! I had to have a root canal - was in a lot of pain, miserable, and pretty scared to have the procedure. Dr. Rob did an excellent job of empathizing and explaining the process. He was confident, skilled, and made sure that there was not one bit of pain. Dana (Dental Assistant) was also so kind and knowledgeable as well. The registration and check-out process were a breeze. Modern, beautiful, clean, and comfortable office too. Everything was awesome!

Went on a list of referrals, and definitely the best choice. A re-root canal was necessary before all the other procedures needed. Exactly the quoted price. I greatly appreciate honest medical professionals. Minimal pain during and after. I wish he was able to reconstruct the bridge but went back to original referral for those.....

Dr. Rob Hochberg and his staff were absolutely amazing. He made sure I was comfortable and was beyond understanding about my severe anxiety. My root canal was super quick and completely painless. I would 100% recommended Dr. Hochberg's office.

Both staff and dentist were welcoming and concern for your comfort during the procedure. I am not a patient that tolerates pain, but I experienced the best dental care. Yes, I had a Root Cannel done. I have heard horror stories about Root Cannel. Not here! Top technology of equipment and top skills of the dentist. I was 100% satisfied!

I've never had a root canal done before and was very anxious to say the least! Dr Rob and his staff were awesome. He did an amazing job and I felt no pain at all during the procedure. I literally only felt a pinch during shot numbing time, but thats to be expected and not a big deal for me personally. If I ever need another procedure done I will go see Dr. Rob!!

Did I come here for a root canal?! I believe so! This is the place to go if you are needing root canal services done! Super friendly, and I was in no pain at all throughout the whole procedure and no pain after!! I will def be going back if needed!

Dr. Hochberg took his time to perfect my root canal. His calm demeanor made me feel at ease. He and his staff working with him were organized and professional. Although his office was busy I did not feel he rushed my care. I feel I got the best care I could have received.
