A very positive experience from beginning to end. The staff was both courteous and affable. The Dr. Was very conscious of pain avoidance and once the procedure started he kept tabs on my comfort. I was very happy with the experience at the time and still am.

The procedure was close to pain free, Dr Neafus is very careful, caring and I would recommend him. Nice staff and clean environment for this type of oral surgery.

Very professional and seemingly well run. The root canal procedure was pretty painless and after the procedure I only had to take ibuprofen for one day, which I don't even think was necessary. I would definitely go back without hesitation.

Dr. Neafus and his assistant was amazing with my 11 year old son who had a root canal done. There was wonderful communication, kindness, expertise and care given. We are thankful to have found this Endodontist and will refer to everyone we know. Thank you so much!

This was a root canal, so it's difficult to try to explain how good of an experience I had it. But they handled it beautifully. I felt nothing during the procedure, and the before and after service was just great. Furthermore, I don't have any side effects, which has to mean they did a good job on the procedure. I don't recommend a root canal to anyone, but I do recommend this company if you have to have one. For sure.

I cannot begin to tell you how professional Endo Assc Unlimited is. From the first call I made, the receptionist, Moriah, was amazing...great at what she does. Dr Ryan and Debbie totally explained everything they would be doing even to the sound of the drill. Several times Dr Ryan asked me how I was doing. The one thing he did do was thank Debbie every time he asked for something. To me that showed such great character. I'm hoping I never have to have another root root canal but if I do I would not hesitate to go back there. I will tell anyone that needs this service to go to Endo Assc. Sincerely, Kathleen Skaalerud

Editing to add that we went to a pediatric dentist instead. Turns out that he DID NOT NEED ROOT CANALS AT ALL. These people were going to go through with two root canals on and EIGHT year old. The only reason they stopped was because he was panicking. They told us we would just have to keep coming back until he was able to go through with it. The endodontist then lied to the pediatric dentist who called to find out what happened. The endodontist told the pediatric dentist that she agreed that he did not need the root canals. Yet the ONLY reason the procedure was terminated was because my son was not tolerating the experience. My 8 year old was sent there for 2 root canals after an accident and dental trauma. We went to two of their offices. First apt was in Roseville. Arriving at my appointment I was told that when they had time, we would be seen and had to wait until they had time. Despite having an appointment. The office is very unwelcoming. The receptionist was not very friendly The waiting room is not comfortable. The doctor was nice and explained things well. We then scheduled him for the two root canals that we were told he needed. Our next appointment for the root canals was in Otsego. The office is beautiful and very nice. When we came in we did stand at the desk for several minutes before anyone came up. Nitrous was going to be charged at $190 out of pocket. That's insane. I went along with it since he is a young child and had no idea what he was in for. He had never had any dental work done beyond cleanings. The assistant came out to get him. She didn't address or introduce herself to him directly or try to make him comfortable. She clearly does not work with kids. I was told to wait in the lobby. A few mintues later I hear my son crying out very loud in severe pain. So much so that I was out of my seat immediately and at the door to go back. The receptionist looked back and got the thumbs up and said it was just the novicaine. I went outside to calm myself. I was called and told that I needed to come back in and go back to him. My son was 100% panicked terrified and crying. I tried to calm him. He was still laying back and squirming in discomfort. We left. He had blood on his teeth/in his mouth still and his lip was bleeding. They had the nitrous way too tight on his face that it hurt when he breathed in. When they took it off he had the imprint on his face for a while. There is absolutely no excuse for this experience or the fact that they were going to go through with an almost $5,000 procedure that was not needed at all.

I had a root canal and crown put on over 10 years ago. Just recently had an abscess (which can be life threatening) form on one of the roots. I'm still taking the antibiotics on top of over the counter pain medication to deal with it. After discussing this with the hygienist she was short tempered with me just telling her what tooth it was. Then Dr Aguirre comes in and proceeds to smack the tooth with the crown along with all other surrounding teeth with what feels like a small hammer asking if I can feel pain. Seemed extremely unnecessary considering the circumstances and continued to do so after I asked him to stop. I had already been seen by an emergency dentist. We already know what the issue is! He gave me two options after looking at the X-ray not chiming in on my pain level or gum health (so the pain test was completely unnecessary). Both options he told me he couldn't guarantee his work and both options were expensive. I don't understand how places like this stay afloat. You wouldn't hire a carpenter or electrician if they couldn't guarantee their work but for some reason you put a Dr. in front of someone's name and people throw money at them. Finding out I had an abscess from an emergency dentist was half the cost of what I paid this guy to give me a splitting headache. I just want to follow up with just because your dentist refers you to a place like this doesn't mean you have to work with them. You decide where and how your money is spent. Just because a person earned the title of doctor doesn't automatically mean they care for their patients or people in general.

Dr. Alejandro Aguirre is lacking respect for the patiend, bedside manners and compassion. My daughter went in for an evaluation thinking it was a tooth with a previous root canal completed at this location. At the evaluation, my daughter was in so much pain and asked this doctor to not blow cold air directly on the painful tooth, which he proceeded to do without acknowledging her concerns or offer an alternative. When she started crying he laughed. Dr. Aguirre was also very rude about answering her questions and showed no empathy regarding the pain and situation as a whole. If you need respect and empathy, choose another doctor. With this being said, the assistant and receptionist did show respect.

I was super scared to get my first root canal, but Dr. Aguirre did a wonderful job! The novocaine didn't even hurt too bad, and the rest of the procedure was a breeze! I would definitely go back in the future, and recommend them highly!

This was my first visit to the Otsego office and only my second (I think) root canal ever. I had some concerns about this one and Dr. R. Aguirre did a great job explaining the reasoning for it and the options I had. Going forward, he and his Assistant did an excellent job working like a well oiled machine and kept me as comfortable as you can be during dental work! I can highly recommend their expertise!
