My visit was awesome! The office is extremely nice and clean. The staff is very pleasant and accomodating. Dr. John Collier was wonderful and so professional. I had no pain during or after my procedure and I was made to feel comfortable the entire time. They truly did an awesome job! I'm so impressed with the office and I highly recommend them!

Seemed nice enough until there's no disclosure up front before doing a 3-D X-ray that there's a $250 cost. Exam was not informative, they didn't show me the X-rays, and oral surgeon cannot read the CD they put the scan on since it's not on a thumb drive. When calling to get the scans put on a thumb drive, this place (with high technology like a 3D scan) could not figure that out. So, I went to Advanced Endodontics, got another 3D X-ray, and the experience with Dr Smith was amazing! And, I left Dr Smith's office with a thumb drive of my X-rays and better knowledge of my problem! This place needs to advance communication and technology.

I had to get a double root canal in which they had to drill through my bridge to do one of them. Everyone was so friendly, pleasant and made sure I was comfortable the entire visit!! When I say entire visit I mean from the time I got there until I left. I would highly recommend Dr Collier and his staff!!!

I was very nervous going in as I needed my first ever root canal and have severe dental anxiety. Dr Collier and his team were absolutely fantastic. From the moment you walk in, you know, without hesitation, that they value you as a patient and are true professionals. My experience was absolutely painless, and they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and answer any questions I had. At no point did I feel rushed, they truly take as much time as needed for you to feel comfortable and informed. 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing endodontic work done.

We were actually referred here from another office due to an earlier appointment availability. I was very impressed. The receptionists were friendly and helpful, the supporting staff and the doctor were so nice and accompaning. They made a point of explaining things in normal terms when I had questions. Definitely recommend!

I had to have my first root canal today. I'm a former dental assistant so I'm usually not the patient. I'm used to being on the other side of the chair!!! Well, from the time I walked in, the staff was amazing. Everyone was so sweet and welcoming. All of the ladies are exceptional at their job! Kayla was my chairside assistant and she was phenomenal! I could talk to her for days. Dr. Collier was the best! Everything I thought a root canal would be turned out wasn't so bad at all. I highly appreciate and recommend this office. They are exceptional at patient care and it really is appreciated. Thank you all so much for taking care of me!

This is the best endodontic experience I have ever had. It's almost like going to a spa. I had a root canal retreat (2nd time), which is supposed to be terrible. I was comfortable during and when my mouth wasn't numb anymore, I noticed it didn't hurt at all. I would highly recommend!

Environment was great! Modern and clean. The atmosphere was calm. And the staff and Dr. Collier were amazing. They constantly checked on me. Asking if I needed anything. Blankets, pillow, headphones, drinks ect. Would highly recommend.

My appointment was scheduled with Endodontic Associates on 12/03/21 for an appt on 12/22/21 for a root canal. All of my information [x-rays, dental insurance, etc.] was sent to Endodontic Associates from my regular dentist. I called Endodontic Associates on 12/14/21 just verify they had all my information, inquire about the dental insurance coverage, and see if I needed to complete my patient forms. The response was; yes, we have all your information and no need to complete the online patient forms. They run the dental insurance info only 24 hours prior to the appt. I went ahead and filled out the online patient forms to limit any possible issues. On 12/21/21, I called to ask about the insurance billing to verify what my out-of-pocket would be. The response was that I would pay $441 out-of-pocket (above the $280 I was supposed to be responsible for) and they don't know what they would bill my dental insurance until after the procedure. Since I have a set amount my dental insurance covers for the year, I needed to know if they would be billing above that amount, as I would be responsible for that as well. Endodontic Associates provided a rough estimate of $1,400; which meant I'd be paying another ~$500 out-of-pocket. At this point (less than 24 hours before my scheduled appt), I was frustrated and confused that they did not run the dental insurance prior and inform me (THE CUSTOMER), so I could be prepared and plan for another endodontist to perform the procedure. They also asked if I'd be bringing the x-ray CD from my dentist. Now remember, I called on 12/14/21 to verify they had all my info. When I explained all this to them and informed them how unprofessional their actions were; they simply requested to let them know and did not take responsibility for any of the communication/planning issues. Come to find out Endodontic Associates is not in-network with my dental insurance. Their website shows that they accept and my dental insurance website showed they were in-network. They stated that the website just hasn't been updated. Thanks for the very last minute notice and lack of professionalism! I spent hours on the phone between my regular dentist, Endodontic Associates, and my insurance to see what could be done. I had a dental appt scheduled immediately afterwards to replace the cap on my tooth; that was getting the root cancel procedure. I also took a PTO day to get all of this coordinated. I ultimately cancelled and went to Alabama Endodontics (they are my hero for fitting me in and providing all the costs upfront) for my root canal. They were professional, courteous, and the procedure was painless. Thank you Dr. Chris Jebeles (and staff) for a great experience! The procedure also only cost me out-of-pocket $205! I would never recommend Endodontic Associates for their unprofessional practices and lack of insurance payment (as well as patient responsibility) upfront cost estimates. I believe they wait to check the insurance 24 hours prior, so the patient has little option but to continue with the appointment.

My experience with the staff and doctor was great! I chose this endodontist because he is a Blue Cross Dental provider. Well, the office insisted I pay on the spot. I asked if they will bill Blue Cross, so I can get reimbursed. (I'm not supposed to pay anything, according to Blue Cross). They said they will bill... well, that was 6 weeks ago, and to date I'm out cash, and Blue Cross has not been billed. I promise you I will not darken their door again. Just can't afford it. It's why I have dental insurance. Intend to report to BC too. (Gave staff and doctor 5 stars.. billing got 0 for an average of 3 stars.)
