Our endodontists dentists with additional education, training and certification specialize in root canals and other endodontic procedures aimed at saving patients natural teeth. We treat patients from Sacramento, Elk Grove, Woodland, Davis, Roseville, Rocklin, Auburn, Folsom and several other surrounding Northern California communities.

Dr. Aneet Bal chose to become an endodontist because of his desire to help patients relieve their dental pain and retain their natural teeth. Also, he believes educating patients about their treatment plan and root canal care options is paramount to the decisionmaking process.

Dr. Bal is a native of Canada. He obtained his undergraduate degree in organic chemistry from the University of Toronto and attended Case Western Reserve University Dental School in Cleveland, Ohio where he received a number of scholarships, academic and clinical awards. He graduated at the top of his class and was inducted into and is a lifetime member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, an academic dental fraternity.

After graduating dental school in 1997, Dr. Bal was accepted into a residency program at the Cleveland Clinic where he became proficient at providing dental treatment to medically compromised patients including those with cardiac, cancer, and transplant conditions. He graduated in 1998 and received his Certificate in Endodontics from Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia in 2000. In 2009, Dr. Bal obtained certification in oral sedation dentistry through the DOCS course.

Dr. Bal met his wife in dental school and they have four wonderful children. As a busy family man, most of his free time is spent with his wife and kids. His interests include cars, movies, hiking, computers, electronic gadgets, and learning to play golf.

Dr. David Keating, an endodontist, focuses his specialty dental practice on listening to patients and explaining what to expect during root canals and other endodontic procedures. His academic excellence, leadership and community service enhances and informs his endodontic practice.

Dr. Keating received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in 2009. As a result of his academic achievements at UCSF, he was inducted into, and is a lifetime member of, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, an academic dental fraternity. Dr. Keating went on to University of California Los Angeles where he earned his Certificate of Specialization in Endodontics in 2011. His educational endeavors also included various leadership positions, notably Class President, UCSF School of Dentistry (2007-2008). In addition to being the recipient of various educational awards, Dr. Keating has devoted a significant amount of time and effort into university service as well as public health related community service.

Dr. Keating was born and raised in Sacramento and attended Jesuit High School. In addition to traveling, Dr. Keating enjoys many outdoor activities, including golfing, fly fishing, skiing, backpacking and SCUBA diving. Dr. Keating initially worked as a Dental Assistant for Endodontic Associates Dental Group and is now enjoying practice partnership alongside his father, Dr. Kevin Keating, and the other endodontists in the group.

In early 2013, Dr. Kolber joined Endodontic Associates Dental Group and then became a partner in the group in 2015. Prior to joining the team, he practiced endodontics for three years in Arizona and the greater Sacramento area.

Dr. Kolber graduated from the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry in 2008 and went on to the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Dentistry, where he earned his certificate in Endodontics in 2010. While at UCLA, Dr. Kolber held the distinguished position of chief resident.

He and his wife, Ruthy, were originally from the California Bay Area, and have selected Sacramento as their permanent home. They have four children, and when not practicing endodontics, Dr. Kolber is happy to wear the hat of husband and dad. He is very involved in the various activities of his children, and is currently a dedicated soccer coach!

As a family man, most of Dr. Kolbers favorite hobbies and activities are best enjoyed with his wife and kids. Some of the families favorite regular annual trips include skiing in Lake Tahoe and extensive trips exploring many of the National Parks and Canada.

I would recommend Endodontic Associates to anyone needing a root canal. The thing about root canals is that the patient is usually in a lot of pain, and needs help quickly. My regular dentist at Douglas Dental gave me the referral, and gave them my details before I even had a chance to call. This is not my first time coming to EA for a root canal, and should I need one again, I hope to come back. There is a focus of patient comfort, and it makes all the difference. I was in a tremendous amount of pain, and the office moved up my appointment when the pain escalated. From the assistant that roomed me to the accounts manager at the end, all were helpful and worked to make it a good experience. The costs were discussed up front, with no surprises at the end. Dr. Keating and his assistant, Adora, were professional and made me comfortable, not only in regards to the pain, but in explaining each step as it went. If you have a choice where to get a root canal, this is my number one recommendation.

The most honest dentists, even though they charge a lot of money for their work. Thank you for the truth: "You need to decide - either remove this tooth now, or treat the root canal for $ 1600; remove this tooth anyway, a little later." I will add - which (tooth) was spoiled by another dentist, not with you. The result is that you need to delete 2 nearby, because the rim of the abscess at these teeth went deep into the bone and this is fraught with consequences. Us have to be very careful when choosing doctors.

The entire staff was professional and friendly. I was in great pain, and needed a root canal. The scheduler gave me the earliest appt possible but was able to get me in the next day due to a cancellation. This was my first time to an endodontist, and for a root canal. Dr. Javaheri took every precaution to ensure the procedure was performed safely and checked in with me along the way to ensure I was ok. He explained the procedure and asked if I had any questions. He had a very soothing way about him and a gentle touch which reduced my anxiety level. Highly recommend Rndodontic Associates.

I called Endodontic Associates on a short notice, actually on the same day I had severe ache at my lower right quadrant of my mouth. Shannon worked hard to rearrange the day's appointments and was able to fit me into their tight schedule. Dr. Gina Savani examined my teeth upon arrival and determined I needed a root-canal. She graciously offered to proceed with the root-canal and everything went really smooth and well. My heartfelt gratitude to Shannon and Dr. Savani! Keep up the outstanding client service!

I'll have to say I was very apprehensive before my upcoming root canal procedure after my last experience at another Endodontist office, but after my consultation with Dr. Gregory Kolber and his assistant Adora, I could see that this would be a much better experience. They understood my fears and kept me relaxed during the entire process and kept me from going into full panic mode. Thanks you guys Rock!

Dr. David Keating and the whole entire crew were absolutely amazing! Tuesday morning when I woke up I had a tooth that needed a root canal post haste and no one to do it. Dr. David opened up space and made room in their schedule knowing that I had to be somewhere and got the root canal done and did it so exceptionally that I felt absolutely no pain upon leaving their office and was able to drive all the way to the airport and pick up a friend who just like the office said would not be waiting long for me and he wasn't. I am so absolutely happy that I have found this office. Michael Zaballos

I had my very first root canal done by Dr. Keating n assistant Sam yesterday Aug. 3, 2021. I cannot say enough about my experience. They both were wonderful. Efficient, kind, gentle, knowledgeable, quick. I was very nervous prior to procedure. And now I know I didn't need to be so nervous. They work beautifully together and answered all of my questions. Their staff as well are kind and so helpful. I can, and will recommend this Dr. Keating and staff to everyone. Thank you so much for excellent work and kindness. Mrs. Karen L. Henry

I love this place. Friendly staff with wonderful environment to do your dental work. From reception to the dentist operating room, everyone was super nice to me. They explained the costs upfront and made everything super clear to me. I generally felt like they cared for me as a person. The location is easy to find with ample parking. I would definitely recommend Endodontic Associates. If and when I need another root canal, I will be specifically asking to be referred to this office again. What an amazing experience!

UPDATE: at the end of my comment. I don't usually write bad reviews on yelp. In fact this is probably my first bad review. I feel there is a lack of communication between patients and staff. I had an appointment for a root canal, money discussed, cash, no dental insurance. Early morning I got a call from one of the staff members informing me the doctor looked at my exray and wasn't sure he could preform a root canal later that day and could I come in because he wanted to talk to me. So I went out to Roseville after 8am. In the waiting room a staff member asked if it was okay if he preformed a scan on my tooth it would be 195.00. Thinking about it, knowing this is all out of pocket I said okay. Doctor went over my scan informed me he couldn't preform the root canal, explained why. When I went to pay it was 370.00. I asked what the extra was for, only then was I informed I was being charged for consultation. When I called to express that I was never informed of a consultation fee just an exray fee, I got a I'm sorry. I understand they did go over fees for the root canal, yes, but never informed me that "the doctor wants to talk to you" meant he wants you to pay to talk to him or give me a choice had I'd known. Being a senior my teeth are important, but so is my money.. I feel any kind of financial obligation should be discussed before charging.UPDATE: I scheduled an appointment over at Creekside Endodonics in Roseville. Dr. Erik Young was able to do my root canal with success. No pain and a very caring Dr. I think I need a refund from Endodonic Associates!

I just had my first root canal today. Dr Bal was so good. I was so nervous and claustrophobic but with a little help with oral sedation I was so comfortable. The staff was so nice and the assistant (I am so sorry I don't remember her name) but she made me feel so comfortable. The root canal was so quick approx 1 hour. I will recommend them to anyone. Thanks again.

I was not happy that I had to go through what I was told I needed, but then don't we all hate going to the dentist? Anyway, when I arrived for my treatment, I was treated with respect, and made to feel comfortable. The procedure didn't go as expected because my tooth was not stable and further drilling, etc. would have been pointless. All through the procedure, I was made to feel comfortable, and based on my experience would not hesitate to recommend Endodontic Associates in general and Dr. Savani in particular.
