I contacted them for a root canal retreat, the original root canal was done there as well. They verified that they took my insurance and I set up a consultation. I went to the consultation and total paid 116 out of pocket. I then made the root canal appointment. The day before they called to cancel it stating that they actually don't take my insurance... so then the root canal appointment was canceled but I did not get a refund on the useless consultation. Now I have to make another appointment for another consultation somewhere else and pay again out of pocket. I think that they should have refunded me what I paid out-of-pocket. Lord knows they can afford to do this. They were nice, but I feel I was taken advantage of.

Dr. Acosta was super awesome. While a root canal is never something one would look forward to, his demeanor and engaging personality made the entire experience way less anxiety-inducing. He was fun, very good at explaining and preparing me for each step. I was even laughing while he was working because he stayed engaged even though I couldn't talk and his nurse was just as fabulous and rolled right along with him! Certainly made for a good distraction and kept me calm!

I went in for a complicated root canal. The front office staff was very friendly and professional. The procedure lasted longer than the predicted 30 minutes, which was due to the nature of the procedure. I was in the chair for about 50 minutes and they asked me how I was doing only once. I counted. I was hoping they would ask because I could not talk easily with the apparatus in my mouth and the doctor was literally smashing my lips and chin with his palm while he was strenuously digging out the canal. After nearly an hour of that, I informed the doctor, and his assistant, of how they were hurting me and I was lectured and admonished by the assistant. "The doctor worked really hard, you know". She tried to shame me for advocating for myself after my face was punished for nearly an hour with virtually no attempt to see how I was doing.

The receptionists at this office are very rude and unprofessional, they act like you are bothering them when you call. The last time I called a woman placed me on hold for 20 minutes then I was forwarded to the voicemail saying they were now closed. It was 4:35 and they do not close until 5:00. The next closest office is in Clinton, MD (1 hour away) and we will be going there instead.

Just had my second root canal. Both have been done at this office! Like most people I dread dental work. From the front desk, to dental assistants, to the doctors I'm always made to feel so comfortable. Seriously they are the kindest and most paitent ever. You aren't shamed, they walk you through what's going on, and listen to your concerns. My husband has had more work than I can list done here and he only has great things to say, too :).

Cannot speak highly enough about this office! The front desk staff were so kind. I explained I was in pain and they got me in quickly. The dr and tech helped to calm my nerves and made sure I was comfortable. I cannot thank them enough!

Just had my second root canal. Both have been done at this office! Like most people I dread dental work. The facility was nice and clean and the Dentist that took me in was really kind and profesional. The only reason why I give them 2 stars is because the receptionist did not tell me they wouldn't take my insurance company until I got out; forcing me to pay a high price for a 15min visit with no procedure done just because they wouldn't accept my insurance. I wrote down my insurance name on the form and she even made copies of the card and ID so I think it was really shhty on her behalf to not tell me they don't accept it right in there- she did it on purpose to get the money- otherwise if she would've told me I would've walked out.
