Dr. Ali Rezai received his undergraduate degree from UC Davis and attended UC Berkeley for his post-baccalaureate studies. He received his dental degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and completed his specialty training in Endodontics at the Manhattan Veterans Administration Medical Center where he also trained in a General Dental Practice.
In addition to private practice, he has been on faculty at the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Endodontics since 2002.
Dr. Rezai is currently an active member of the American Association of Endodontists. He is amember of the Alameda, Berkeley and Contra Costa County Dental Societies as well as the past President of the Alameda Dental Society. Dr. Rezai currently serves on the Board of the Berkeley and Alameda County dental societies. Dr. Rezai was also past President of the Northern California Association of Endodontists as well as a member of the East Bay, the Partnership, and Spear Study Clubs. He is also a Fellow at the American College of Dentists.
Dr. Patwardhan completed her Bachelors of Science degree in Economics at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She concentrated her studies in Health Care Management. Dr. Patwardhan graduated cum laude from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and she received her Certificate in Endodontics at Tufts School of Dental Medicine.
She is currently an active member of the American Association of Endodonticsas well as a member of the Alameda County Dental Society,theAlameda City Dental Society, and the Harvard Odontological Society.

Dr. Rezai saved my life/mouth by executing a long and careful retreatment of a root canal and placing a post in another tooth so that I could have a new bridge constructed instead of the awful prospect of upper implants, beneath the sinus, which would have involved a bone graft, as well. He worked carefully and painstakingly and expertly to make sure that I was a candidate for the bridge. He could not have been more conscientious than if my teeth were his own. He is also very kind and very patient and is great at putting the anxious patient (me) at ease. The office has some glitches with access and scheduling, likely a function of multiple offices in various locations, but it is worth being persistent if you want the very best endodontist on the planet. I also had almost no pain or complications, post this 3 1/2 hour procedure(s). No need for the prescribed pain relief or antibiotic.

Extremely horrible experience! Please avoid going to this practice. The doctor and the staff are highly unprofessional and will find ways to rob you in broad day light. I went through a referral and my dentist had already taken x-rays however the doctor discarded them and retook the x-ray as well as CT scan. They performed root canal on the wrong teeth!! The doctors and staff will leave no stone unturned to harass the patient. I am going to take legal action against the practice but wanted to help other fellow Alameda residents by throwing light in this practice.

Just wow, this amazing, been going to the dentist for a long time a go, Dr SHEILA did my ROOT CANAL today, she is the best ever, I love everything about this office the team are great, I recommend this thousand times

They did a great job on my root canal. You hear horror stories about how painful root canals can sometimes be, but with Endo Care it was completely painless. They also did a flawless job with the internal bleaching afterwards. It was my front tooth, so I was a bit hesitant, but the bleached tooth now matches my other teeth. Before the bleaching, the tooth was a slightly different color than the rest of my teeth. Dr. Bokhour even volunteered to come in on the weekend if I had an pain (which I didn't). I cannot say enough good things about Valerie and Dr. Bokhour.

I got a root canal from them yesterday and I already feel back to 100% today. I felt I was in very good hands the entire time. I went in for a consultation under constant pain, met Dr. Patwardhan who understood exactly what my situation was, and did the root canal right then. I felt no pain during the procedure and was out within an hour. Her assistant was also very kind and thoughtful. They said I might get leftover pain and aches from the procedure but I've barely had any trouble. Just extremely happy with the procedure!

Ill give 5 stars,because a good customer service and accomodation they are,and its my first time,the one staff name MAAM cherie,how nice she is,the doctor who treated me.. wow amazing.all the staff..keep it up..

Who wants a root canal, but if you need one, I HIGHLY recommend this place! From the time I called for an appointment the front office staff was friendly, and very helpful. Upon my arrival, I was treated with the utmost care. My consultation & the procedure went well. BOKHOUR, DDS was the BEST! Great team work with her assistant Rocio. I nearly went to sleep the process was so smooth. NO pain! The next day, still NO pain. So again, if you need a root canal, this is the place!

Well, a root canal is not my first idea of a fun afternoon, but I was in pain and needed help. Medical and administrative staff were very friendly, waiting time was only a few minutes. Dr Patwardhan explained the procedure, very professionally and without any rush and then went to work. About 45 minutes later she took the time to show me the final result on the X-ray. Today, the office called me to check on me. I could report back "all good, pain free". So I don't wish a root canal on anybody but if you need one that's the place to go.

DR. HAMID IS A VERY CARING PERSON AND AN EXCELLENT ENDODONTIST. HE MADE ME FEEL AT EASE THROUGHOUT THE ROOT CANAL PROCEDURE. HIS STAFF EVEN FOLLOWED UP WITH ME THE MORNING AFTER TO SEE HOW I WAS DOING.
