Knowing since the age of 5 that she wanted to be a dentist, Dr. Makuta pursued a rigorous academic schedule attending the University of California at Irvine obtaining a degree in Biological Sciences. She then went on to attend the Dental School at the University of California, San Francisco, graduating in 1998. Dr. Makuta is continually advancing her knowledge in dentistry to benefit her patients. She is an Invisalign and ClearCorrect provider, places and restores dental implants, and is in the process of obtaining her Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry.
As a San Fernando Valley native, Dr. Makuta is excited to be helping people maintain and advance their health in her home area. She has two children that keep her very busy. She and her husband love to travel and are big sports fans. Dr. Makuta has been in practice for over 20 years.

Dr. Makuta is the best dentist I've ever been to. I learn something new every time I see her. Everyone in the office is friendly and the atmosphere is calm and relaxed. I actually enjoy going to the dentist : )

I'm so glad I found Dr. Makuta. I've been looking for a good wholistic dentist for a while and had no idea she was right here in the San Fernando Valley. She's direct and honest and I like that about her.

Linda Makuta is the best holistic dentist in the San Fernando Valley! I was willing to drive hours out of my way to go to a good holistic dentist before I found her Encino Dental Care dental practice. I'm so happy I found Dr. Makuta so I can stay local. I love the knowledge I learned from her that someone's dental health is connected to their overall health and has natural remedies and treatment options no other dentist provides.

The clinic could fit me in in an emergency and repair my broken crown. The staff and Dr. Linda Makuta were amazing; I'm moving dentist services to them. They are amazing. Highly recommended.

This dental office is amazing, and I would highly recommend it here to anyone! The staff is super nice and friendly. I always come out with a new smile and feel great about my choices! Your teeth are very important and to come to an office like this one makes it even better

I had 6 old metal filings that I've been meaning to get removed for years. I think my last dentist used them as they were super cheap. Once I found out they contain mercury and I'm probably getting dumber by the day due to mercury poisoning, I knew I had to get rid of them. Dr. Makuta showed me how she was going to do the procedure safely and effectively. The experience was outstanding! She's really good.

Dr. Makuta is the best dentist in Encino. Her staff is top notch and very thorough. She takes the time to speak with you and let you know what's going on. I don't particularly enjoy visiting the dentists office but Dr. Makuta makes it a comfortable experience. I highly recommend visiting them for your next dental check up.

I've been seeing Linda Makuta for many years for all my dental needs. Now I have her servicing my growing family. She's always been upfront on all my questions of what I should or shouldn't do. It also helps that she's got the gentlest hands when it comes to teeth cleaning. I've visited many dentists and dental hygienists and often felt traumatized and left a bloody mess. Not with Linda. I feel very fortunate to have found her.

Dr. Makuta is great! I have always been hesitant about going to to the dentist since I stopped going to my family dentist in high school but I now look forward to going to the dentist. She truly cares about your oral health as well as your overall health. Dr. Makuta takes her time with her patients, which is hard to find now. I never had a dentist perform a periodontal exam so that was very cool!
