Cathy Santone, DDS graduated with honors, Cum Laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry in 1995. She has enjoyed practicing dentistry in Encinitas, CA since graduating from UCLA. Dr. Santone is passionate about creating beautiful and natural smiles for her patients while providing a relaxed and comfortable dental experience from their first dental visit. Dr. Cathy Santone served as past president and as a board member of the Southwest Affiliate of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) in San Diego. Dr. Megan Dietz had the pleasure of growing up in beautiful North County, San Diego. She attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo for her undergraduate degree, where she played on the universitys lacrosse team and graduated cum laude. While interning at a dental office in her college summers, Dr. Dietz fell in love with the dental profession. She was drawn towards dentistry because it combined her two areas of interestscience and artas well as fulfilled her desire to help people. Dr. Dietz went on to attend dental school at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
After completing dental school, Dr. Dietz moved home to North County and was elated to live closer to her friends, family, and the top-notch San Diego beaches again. Early in her career, she began to work as an associate at Encinitas Cosmetic Dentistry and immediately felt like an integral part of the team. Dr. Dietz has since bought into the practice and become partners with her colleague and mentor, cosmetic dentist Cathy Santone, DDS.
Dr. Dietz loves the versatility that general dentistry offers, but she has especially enjoyed treating patients with Invisalign and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Dietz believes the most important thing about being a good dentist is the desire to continue learning. Dr. Elizabeth Rodriguez is a San Diego native who grew up in North County. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from San Diego State University. Elizabeth discovered her passion for dentistry when she started volunteering as an assistant at a dental clinic in Solana Beach (where she also first met Dr. Megan Dietz!). She then went on to graduate from the UCLA School of Dentistry. Elizabeth now proudly serves patients at Encinitas Cosmetic Dentistry.
Elizabeth is a compassionate dental provider who takes pride in educating patients about preventative methods that can protect and improve their oral health.
