Cathy Santone, DDS graduated with honors, Cum Laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry in 1995. She has enjoyed practicing dentistry in Encinitas, CA since graduating from UCLA. Dr. Santone is passionate about creating beautiful and natural smiles for her patients while providing a relaxed and comfortable dental experience from their first dental visit. Dr. Cathy Santone became an Accredited Member of the prestigious American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry in February 2004. At the time, she was 1 of 10 in San Diego County and the only female in San Diego County, and 1 of 302 in the United States.
Dr. Cathy Santone served as past president and as a board member of the Southwest Affiliate of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) in San Diego. As an Accredited member of the AACD, she has served as the committee chairwoman for the Membership Benefits and Recognition Committee and participates in the Give Back a Smile program in conjunction with the AACD. Dr. Megan Dietz had the pleasure of growing up in beautiful North County, San Diego. She attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo for her undergraduate degree, where she played on the universitys lacrosse team and graduated cum laude. While interning at a dental office in her college summers, Dr. Dietz fell in love with the dental profession. She was drawn towards dentistry because it combined her two areas of interestscience and artas well as fulfilled her desire to help people. Dr. Dietz went on to attend dental school at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
After completing dental school, Dr. Dietz moved home to North County and was elated to live closer to her friends, family, and the top-notch San Diego beaches again. Early in her career, she began to work as an associate at Encinitas Cosmetic Dentistry and immediately felt like an integral part of the team. Dr. Dietz has since bought into the practice and become partners with her colleague and mentor, cosmetic dentist Cathy Santone, DDS.
Dr. Dietz loves the versatility that general dentistry offers, but she has especially enjoyed treating patients with Invisalign and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Dietz believes the most important thing about being a good dentist is the desire to continue learning. She has been a longstanding member of both the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and the local Spear Dental Study Club. Dr. Elizabeth Rodriguez is a San Diego native who grew up in North County. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from San Diego State University. Elizabeth discovered her passion for dentistry when she started volunteering as an assistant at a dental clinic in Solana Beach (where she also first met Dr. Megan Dietz!). She then went on to graduate from the UCLA School of Dentistry. Elizabeth now proudly serves patients at Encinitas Cosmetic Dentistry.
Elizabeth is a compassionate dental provider who takes pride in educating patients about preventative methods that can protect and improve their oral health. She is very excited to be helping patients in her home county obtain beautiful, healthy smiles. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys running, yoga, spending time with friends and family, and taking care of her poodle puppy with her fianc, Wesley.

I loved my new dentist, Dr Elizabeth. Very caring and calm and have a brilliant bedside manner. Very gentle with cleaning my teeth and for the first time I don't feel any irritation after cleaning my teeth. My only objection is every time I walk in, I don't feel welcome and receptionist looking at me like what are you doing here with her eye but doesn't even say hi or welcome Me. Smile doesn't cost anything, smile more, we could even feel it behind your mask. Welcome the patient and simply be warm to them by asking would you like to check in? I wish she was friendlier as it doesn't make me comfortable walking in there.

Arguably the best dentist on the planet. If you, like most people, have a fear of the dentist then fret no more. Both Drs. Cathy Santone DDS and Megan Dietz DDS are the best dentists I've ever experienced and I've had plenty of experience with all types of dentists. No more pain of any kind, no waiting, no attitude, they're always on time, friendly and the office is immaculate. Great staff beginning with Kori at the front desk, all the hygienists and dental technicians. Truly a professional operation and I consider it a day at the spa! The bottom line, This is the best of high-tech Dentistry combined with cosmetic artistry, great people and the latest Technology. You couldn't pay me to go to another dentist! I love my new smile! Dr. Santone is an excellent dentist...the best ever! I came to her with complex cosmetic dentistry needs. She really paid attention to all my needs and was very thorough throughout the entire process. She really cares and really makes sure all of your concerns are met and you are happy with your results. Each visit was pleasant, there was never any rush, she took her time to explain the process and the stages of each procedure. The entire staff was very nice, the energy in the office was amazing and it was very clean. I would give more stars if I could. I highly recommend this Dentist!

Dr. Megan is a fabulous dentist and takes great care of her patients. She was able to replace the bonding on a tooth for me as well as even out another tooth which was impacted when the tooth chipped. Am grateful to Dr. Megan and the entire staff for the great work they do!

We have been clients at Encinitas Cosmetic Dentistry for about 5 years and have always had fabulous and timely appointments. The staff is very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Dietz has taken wonderful care of our teeth and does a great job of describing conditions and options if there is incremental treatment needed. They do a thorough job of teeth cleaning and are also sensitive to your comfort. I highly recommend Dr Dietz and the team at Encinitas Cosmetic Dentistry!!

The office is incredibly clean and modern, with large computer screens up on the wall so that you can see your x-rays and intra-oral photos. The Dr.s are professional and very aware of patient comfort. I highly recommend Encinitas Cosmetic Dentistry.

I have been going here for over 5 years and have nothing but good things to say about the hygienists, dentists, and the office. Everything always runs smoothly, from booking appointments, to being on time, to accommodating schedule changes or dental emergencies. And my teeth and mouth have been very healthy with no problems thanks to the care at this office. I highly recommend if you are looking for a dentist.
