I went here to get a second opinion because i thought another dentist was trying to get me for money and Dr. Tefera just confirmed what i thought.. I let him do his evaluation without telling him what the last dentist said and after he told me what he was from his check up i told him what the previous dentist said and i was told he doesn't see any of that in my x-rays and i don't need that work done.. The office and dental rooms was very clean and the receptionist was very nice and welcoming i love the fact it was just me in there since i had an early appointment, hes an old school dentist that don't need a bunch of bells and whistles to give good service and dental care i will definitely be back for my check up. Just some advice If you dont feel good about the work a dentist want to do please get a second opinion a lot of dentist are just out for money and will do anything to get it even if its destroying your mouth

Dr. Tefera is great and so is his receptionist! He explained things to me throughout the process and encouraged me to ask questions. I also like the fact that it didn't take forever for me to get an appointment. Highly recommend.

Receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. The doctor was warm, quick and gentle. I"ve found my dentist for life.

Dr. Tefera is great and so is his receptionist! He explained things to me throughout the process and encouraged me to ask questions. I also like the fact that it didn't take forever for me to get an appointment. Highly recommend.

I don't where the low reviews come from but this Dentist is great. Sofia at the front desk is wonderful also. He took his time explaining everything and did a wonderful job. The ease of it all made my fear of the dentist silly. I will be back in 2 weeks.

Excellent service for the past 7 years. Was afraid of DENTISTS until I met Dr. Tefera. He did a root canal for me. Wow! No negative side effect, pain or swelling.

Dr. Tefera has been my dentist for the past 20 years. I trust him because he has taken excellent care of my teeth since the first day I stepped foot into his office. He always takes the time to answer my questions and to explain to me what's going on with my teeth and how to better care for them. He is always cordial and professional. I would recommend Dr. Tefera to anyone and everyone looking for a reliable and earnest dentist.

Dr. Tefera has been my dentist for the past 20 years. I trust him because he has taken excellent care of my teeth since the first day I stepped foot into his office. He always takes the time to answer my questions and to explain to me what's going on with my teeth and how to better care for them. He is always cordial and professional. Great Dentistry office in Brooklyn. The front receptionist is very warm and friendly. The front wait area itself is never too congested. I went to visit this office when I had gum pains and Dr Tefera was able to diagnose and remedy my gum issues quickly. I now go every 6 months for a routine clean up! highly recommended!

Dr. Tefera has the WORSE customer service skills! He refused to give me a referral for a periodontist because he says he just doesn't give referrals, doesn't have modern technology to sign an electronic signature for giving permission of my dental records and refused to give me a checkup, told me I need to look for another dentist. Do not go to him! The WORSE!!

Amazing doctor. Welcoming environment. No wait time. He was very gentle and did every thing with little to no pain. I would definitely recommend.

The only good thing about here is that there is never a long wait. The front desk receptionist is nice but the dentist himself is RUFF ( not rough) The guy tried to remove a cap that was glued onto my tooth with the hook pick instrument without Novocain. He tried to do my filling with only the topical Novocain gel, which is nothing its like ambesol. smh It was so painful but the dentist was so cheap he told me to bear it on both occasions. You will continue to hear that your insurance doesn't pay and they will bill you. You will never stop paying off your bill. I think they didn't want to put in the claims to the insurance company and much rather take the cash no matter how long you take to pay them. The receptionist has great customer service but the dentist does not listen to his patients and he is messy. Their good ppl but if you don't like what you do and don't care about your patients just shut down. Trust me it is empty for a reason.

Never congested. If you're earlier than your appt time, you get seen earlier. And most of all, the doctor is experienced and most of his work is completely painless.
