This dental office is the best we ever had!! The ladies(Michelle and JoMarie) in the front are amazing!! Easy to deal with when it comes to invoicing they make payments pain free. No pun intended. Lol. Thoughtful and courteous. Hardly ever have to wait to be seen. Never than a week out. They are scheduling gurus. The nurses and the hygienist(JuliAnn and Dr. Kier)are kind and gentle. Explaining everything in simple terms. Dr. Carnevali is awesome!! Does excellent cosmetic work!! I can't say enough of how happy we are about the whole staff. Kudos to everyone!!

I was billed outside the benefits under my Insurance. My insurance covers 90% of the root canal cost, you still billed me $750 by adding an unnecessary procedure(this just for the root canal, this doesn't includes crown) . On top of that you were pushing me to get that done for other 2 teeth as well and provided me an estimate of $5000 for 3 root canals.

I have been seeing Dr. Carnevali for about 11 or 12 years now. He has always been extremely gentle, careful, and proficient at what he does. I am very picky with dentists, but always felt that I was in good hands with him and Emmert. Any time I had an issue or confusion about the bill and insurance the staff was able to resolve with just a phone call or leaving a vmail. Would definitely recommend if you want or need a dentist that stands behind their work.

Why didn't read reviews before I went? Went to Bethel Park location. They will indeed try to talk you into procedures that YOU DO NOT NEED or can get done more economically elsewhere! The customer service is incredibly poor. The front desk person very rudely cut me off in mid-sentence twice when I came in for my first appointment. Great start. They recommended deep cleaning and two crowns. No other dentist ever said I needed these crowns but hey what do I know. When they told me that the cleaning was $600+ I said that I didn't think I wanted it. They said you can call everywhere and that's how much it is because they use very special equipment. Ok. But still, I want to get a second opinion. Then the same front desk person kept trying to tell me it was expensive because the doctor they bring in is a periodontist. Then she tried to explain what a periodontist is. I told her that I recruit Doctors and Dentists for a living and do not need an explanation and that I wanted a second opinion. She again kept trying to explain what kind of dentist he is.... ugh. Anyway, the office manager came out and said I do not need the special equipment, I can get a deep cleaning a Settlers Ridge office for $35. I see, so their game is to try to get as much out of you as they can dishonestly, then when you call them out, they have a cheaper alternative. Thanks. No

Horrible, called to discuss my bill never got a return call. Left 3 messages, got charged for services that was NOT rendered!!!! Never experienced anything like this. They push unnecessary products on you. If you go take my advice DO NOT MAKE A DESCION WHILE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF NOVOCAINE AND STRESS FROM TRAUMA TO YOUR MOUTH!!! Get a receipt that day!!!

Criminals. Always selling you something you don't need. Would not give me a referral to extract a tooth with a previous root canal. Dr. Carnavali is not someone I would recommend to anyone. I wanted to go to an oral surgeon, but they wanted paid. Did not care about me. Phone calls never returned. Only bills

I went there 1/11/2020 to have a Crown re-cemented, unfortunately it wasn't able to be re-cemented and I needed to have a temporary filling put in before other work could be performed, which I was charged for. I was there for every bit of 15 minutes, when I got the EOB from my insurance this dentist office billed for Re-cementing a Crown that I no longer have and a host of other charges causing me to have additional out of pocket expenses in addition to what they already charged me the day of the visit. I switched Dental providers and asked for my x-rays, because if the new dentist takes any addtl x-rays I would be charged. This Dentist office said they would charge me $15 to copy them and $3.00 to send them. I told them PA state law entitles me to my Medical Records for Free, they agreed to give me my x-rays on 1/21/20, I went to their office to pick them up after I got off of work @ 5:30 pm and they were closed, they were supposed to be open until 6:00 pm that day and they knew I was coming to pick them up, the office was closed the next day. THEY KEPT TRYING TO GET ME TO COME BACK FOR MY ANNUAL EXAM! DID THEY THINK THIS WAS GOING TO WORK? THE TEMPORARY FILLING LASTED 24 HOURS, I HAD AN INFECTION THAT THE DENTIST NEVER ADDRESSED AND I KEPT CALLING ABOUT TO TELL HIM ABOUT. I called my insurance company and put in a complaint & told them that I had already paid them & that they did none of the work that they were charging for.

I was in search of a new dentist with evening hours. Emmert was recommended by a friend. The whole staff went above and beyond to help me with my late evening appt and a tooth ache that I had for weeks.

STAY AWAY! They overcharged me and my family for multiple treatments and even though after providing EOB by insurance company, they do not resolve or respond properly. I still have an ongoing follow-up with them to get resolution and refund. I changed my dentist, but as a long time patient of this office, I couldn't believe why they did that to me until I came here to write reviews, and I saw multiple similar cases. That makes them the most unethical dental office I've ever known. They should be responsible for their actions towards their patients!
