Dr Raphael Csillag graduated from Columbia University School of Dentistry and stayed there to complete his postgraduate degree in Periodontics. In 2006 Dr Csillag became Board Certified specialist . To further his knowledge, he completed a two year fellowship in Implantology at Columbia University. He is a former Clinical Assistant Professor at Columbia University Dental School.
Dr Csillag is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration and New Jersey Dental Association. He constantly engages in continuing education and latest developments in the fields of periodontics and implantology.

My teenage daughter had a bad fall that ended up breaking parts of her two front teeth off. After our ER visit, we contacted the Emergency Dentist of Hawthorne. My daughter did not want to see anyone or return to school with her broken teeth. They got us in for an appointment and she was seen by Dr. Csillag. He is a wonderful dentist. Very professional and empathetic to her situation. He did a beautiful job of bonding her teeth and the results are very natural. It's great to see my daughter restored and smiling again.

I had never in my life had so much pain. I tried to just deal with it but got to the point where it was unbearable. Saying I hate going to the dentist is an understatement. I ended up at Emergency Dentist of Hawthorne. Sadly I got the bad news that the tooth could not be saved. They extracted it the same day and took really good care of me. The pain subsided immediately. I'm going to go back and get an implant. Their prices are extremely reasonable and the people that work there are all very nice. Because of their exceptional care, I walked out with a new outlook on going to the dentist.

The clean and inviting atmosphere. Staff and doctors are knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Put my crown back on and I was on my way. Considering that I was a walk-in they had to squeeze in they were pretty expedient. Very happy with my entire experience.

My filling fell out and I felt excruciating pain. My regular dentist happened to be on vacation that week. No way I could wait. Emergency Dentist of Hawthorne was able to get me in and seen fairly quickly. They were able to resolve my issue and get me on my way. Definitely saved my day!

I broke the front of my tooth and had a social event to go to the next day.I was mortified, I did not want anyone to see me like that. I needed to get it fixed right away! I called Emergency Dentist of Hawthorne NJ and they took me in the same day. The doctor bonded my front tooth and it looks amazing!Can't even tell it was broken before. The day was saved and I was able to go to the event with a smile. Thank goodness for these guys.
