Emergency Dental Care USA - General dentist in Omaha, NE

For over 20 years weve helped thousands of people with toothaches, chipped teeth and all sorts of other dental emergencies get the care they need without the wait. In most cases our emergency dentists can diagnose patients and perform treatment on the same-day.

We accept several forms of payment, and have financing options available to those who qualify. We accept most dental insurance on indemnity basis (we help our patients file a claim on their behalf), and have many patients return for non-emergency dental care.

My appointment was for 1:00 pm and I was sitting in the dentist chair right around 1:00. Everyone was very professional and sympathetic to my situation. I was able to get treatment for my abscessed tooth to help me make it until my company provides me with dental insurance. I highly recommend this dental practice.

I was super nervous when I first got there and the front desk lady and the dental assistant were both absolutely amazing about reassuring that it was going to be alright. & answered every question I had. The dentist himself was great and kept asking if I was doing okay. (I was there for a wisdom tooth extraction) If could give this place 10 stars I would! Made the appointment yesterday and got right in this afternoon. Staff went above and beyond and were extremely professional!!

was debating if to make a review or not. On 8.29.22 I went in and by far it has been one of my worst experiences. I called made my appointment was called back if I could make it in earlier i said yes came in at the time they asked. waited for about 10-15 min at the front desk since no would come up, I decided to call the number and it took two calls for them to come up front and notice I was there. After checking in i was asked to wait and it almost took an hour for me to go back. Basically my original scheduled time. As Dr. Swirczek came out and was ready for me she referred to me as a female and the front desk whispered "he" she then went aside and he corrected her that I was male and she laughed about it was no where near played off. Mind you I am transitioning I have long hair I had my eye brows done wit make up n mascara took me back and keep referring to me as he. I'm already feeling horrible the fact they laughed about it. Went thru got my tooth removed during that process she keep telling me I need you to open your mouth wider I did what I could she was hurting me but I was like ok it's part of the process it was over and I left . 4 days later I called just to see if it was normal to feel my tongue numb, parts of my jaw and I was in pain. They gave me another appointment for the following Monday it's been a week by then I told her what I was feeling and she went in with a sharp tool and said to let her know if I felt anything which I did and she went on and said it was normal that the needle hit a nerve and it would take about 6 months for it to go back to normal. After that appointment she made my tongue sensible with the pokes on my tongue it burns when brushing my teeth and toothpaste gets on it, when I rinse with mouth wash my tongue burns/stings any thing I eat and it has a spice my tongue is very sensible now I also have pain on the side where my tooth was removed. I feel discriminated by my gender and very disappointed on the work and the process it going to be to go back to normal. Her assistant 5 stars.. Dr. Swirczek and the front desk guy very very disappointed would not recommend this place even if it's an emergency like mine was. never again coming to this place what a shame

I was able to get in right away however I was rushed with the paperwork process. They didn't go over my medications. They would have seen I take 800 MG of Ibuprofen on a daily basis. I left, called back telling them I was in severe pain and was doing everything outlined in the discharge instructions. They said they do not prescribe anything stronger offered me a steroid pack. Still in severe pain. I wish they would have told me their policies and procedures regarding pain control. I am out of a lot of money and in severe pain now. My whole jaw has swollen and I have pain into my ear. I will not recommend their services.

This place is a scam. Do not go here if your life depends on it. They will not go through insurance, they'll demand upfront payment and they will price gouge you. STAY AWAY

Absolutely horrible experience. I wasn't even treated! Despite having one of the best dental plans, they wanted me to pay 100% of fees at time of service - despite their contract they had me sign stating that patients pay at time of service OR have 30 days. This was not discussed in advance, any of the three conversations had before coming in. I asked how much to pay, they said $95 just to be seen which includes NO treatment then the rest would be added on. I agreed to pay the $95 and asked if they can bill my insurance the rest since that's why I have it. I was very rudely told no and to borrow money from someone. I was told to apply for care credit and when I brought up the contract, "Holly" -who's apparently the dentist, said "show me where it says that. When I did, her response was "well I don't write the contract." Aubrey at the front desk was too busy on her cell phone to do her job. Extremely disappointed as this is an emergency dental office and shouldn't be used to take advantage of those in need. The customer service was terrible. Another family had to walk out for the same reason and when they left, Aubrey (reception) was making fun of her and laughing at her situation. Pathetic.

Nothing short of outstanding service from the minute I walked in. Dustin took care of everything and answered all questions, very detailed and organized. Set up the follow up appointment based solely on what would work for us. They take the time and the only focus was taking care of our needs. Stop looking give these folks an opportunity to serve you and you will not be disappointed.

Went in because I was having extreme tooth pain the visit itself isn't the problem but the follow up I had instead. Doctor prescribed me some antibiotics and some pain medicine until the weekend is over until I can get in with my primary doctor. When I called asking a question about my antibiotics the front desk receptionist lady was extremely rude, to me kept cutting me off when I was trying to talk about my concern and not listening to a single word I was saying to her, and would not help me in the slightest. Then she proceeded to tell me that my questions would need to be forwarded to an assistant and I would be called back in a few business days... I didn't get any help at all over the phone she didn't listen to a single thing about the help I needed from my post visit questions.

FINAL UPDATE: I finally got a refund check for my overpayment. That was almost 5 months, calls and emails to them and multiple other agencies. Do not waste your time here! Another update: this week they were sent a letter from the attorney general. I have also continued to try and contact them but still received no reply. Update: I spoke with Dustin today and he advised me aside from calling a number no one answers and emailing an address that no one answers that I have no further recourse with them. I contacted the state dental board today and have been directed to the attorney general. If I could give zero stars I would. They extracted a tooth for me. I have had multiple bone spurs since then which were caused by the way they wrestled the tooth out of my mouth. I paid up front and when submitted to my insurance they confirmed an overpayment but still have no issued me a refund. I have called and emailed at the very least a dozen times and I get redirected or ignored. Thieves stealing my money! My next follow up will be to the state dental board. ***adding I emailed them with a picture of my review and their response and still nothing back from them. I have emailed them 29 times and called them at least that many. I have an email on 3/14/22 confirming my overpayment refund was being sent for processing but still nothing. They also ignore complaints made to the BBB. I'm waiting to hear back from the state dental board.

Best experience at a dental office possibly ever. Walked in with no appointment in a lot of pain. Got tooth pulled and out the door pain free in less then a hour. Excellent staff that makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. Great experience. A++++

My husband had an emergency visit on 2/27/22. Of course, he was charged in full for services, otherwise they would not do the work. We received our Explanation of Benefits from our dental insurance company, and it showed my husband overpaid. I have been calling, leaving messages as well as speaking to a few people in the dental office requesting when a refund will be sent. I have called 10 times, which started 3/9/22. On the 8th call, I was able to speak to someone that was able to review further, and it looked like the refund was processed on 4/3/22. I explained it was never received, can it be cancelled and a new one issued. I also found another customer had the same problem from the 4/3/22 checks that were issued as they had not received their refund either. I was finally provided the phone number for the Administration office that manages accounting on the 9th call. I have left that person 2 messages as well as asking them to review their bank account to verify a check had not yet been cashed, then cancel it and reissue the refund. At this time, we still have not heard from the Administrator, nor received reimbursement. The actual service my husband received for dental work was great! As for the customer service from the Administration side - not so much. They have complete disregard for their customers and could care less - they will charge you the full rates to pay before performing services, but good luck trying to get your money back when the insurance information comes after the fact. It is considered FRAUD and STEALING to not reimburse your customers and keep their money!!! 6/8/22 - In response to the owner's reply that was left 2 days ago: You gave your "standard" reply as you are WELL AWARE that I have called 10 times, left messages, spoken to people, who as well have contacted their direct managers reiterating to all how you have yet to refund our money. All of which said Erica, which is probably who left the response to my review, is the administrator who handles all of this, and all were sending emails to you about the issue at hand. All of this started on 3/9/22. You are also aware that I have touched base with the office manager, Dustin, a few times, who has left you voicemails, emails, as well as texted you on 6/3/22 with the issue ONCE AGAIN that you are aware of. This is the same day that the review was left as nothing seems to be working and you are completely ignoring resolving the issue and refunding our money. The "check is in the mail" excuse needs to stop. I see many reviewers are in the same boat and for some reason you feel is it legal to keep money that is NOT yours. Once again, It is considered FRAUD and STEALING to not reimburse your customers and keep their money!!!

I am one of those scary-cats that hate to go to the dentist for anything. So naturally, my teeth have suffered. I took the pain for too long. When I couldn't no longer It was late and most places were closed. On the internet I found EDC. Couldn't have found a better place or DDS If I tried! They are open til 9pm. I walked in at 8pm, no appointment, and found Thuy T. Tran, DDS. Omg, he listened to my fears and took such kindness when he explained what he needed to do. (Had to extract 2 teeth) He catered to my fears explaining each step as we went. Couldn't believe how gentle the procedure went and NO PAIN! I'm going to repeat that....NO PAIN! Made sure I was completely numb and I was ready to go on with the extractions. He allowed me to call the shots. I was so relieved. Couldn't have a better experience! Please, if you need dental care and are afraid to go...this is your place. Don't waste your time or money going anywhere else! You might have to spend a lil more than a regular dentist but trust me! It's worth every single penny here. I went back yesterday for another visit to remove a wisdom tooth. Same experience. So grateful for him AND his staff. (Sorry I didn't catch their names to give them a shout out) Thank you Thank you Thank you!
