Emergency Dental Care USA - General dentist in Lynnwood, WA

For over 20 years weve helped thousands of people with toothaches, chipped teeth and all sorts of other dental emergencies get the care they need without the wait. In most cases our emergency dentists can diagnose patients and perform treatment on the same-day.

We accept several forms of payment, and have financing options available to those who qualify. We accept most dental insurance on indemnity basis (we help our patients file a claim on their behalf), and have many patients return for non-emergency dental care.

This company stole over $1,000 from us. They require full payment up front and then submitted the insurance reimbursement claim to also be paid to them. They were paid twice and refuse to refund us. We've tried contacting them numerous times and are promised a refund and then nothing happens. We will be taking them to court. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The treatment I received also failed a month later and ended in infection, multiple rounds of antibiotics and oral surgery to repair. UPDATE: 11 days after I posted this review a check for the exact amount I was owed arrived without any communication from the company. I appreciate the wrong being righted, but not happy with the process. In regards to response on 8/8/22: Yes, I understand these policies. The error was in your office, in the claim being marked to be paid to the company and not reimbursed to me. This occurred in June of 2021. I spent a year contacting insurance - who told me the error was yours and therefore yours to correct; and contacting your offices for assistance. I was told a refund would be issued several times and one never came until after I posted this review. I was more than patient, gave you a year to make this right and was unable to get any movement, so I was forced to this forum.

Do not waste your time or money here. Sunday in excruciating pain. I have an upcoming root canal appointment next week. Something has happened over the last 48 hours that has put me in horrible pain. I go in. The doc spends maybe 3 minutes looking at me. Writes a script for amoxicillin. I didn't know what he was giving me until I picked up the prescription. He would not tell me. I tell him I need something for pain. he says, "this will be be fine." tells me I can have to tooth pulled or he can do a pain block, as he is writing the script and checking me out. He obviously had no interest in treating me. I asked about a root canal and he says, Yes he can do them. I said why can't we do that he tells me to see my own Endodontists in a week when I have my appointment. Staff was friendly, Doc horrible. I am sitting on my bed with ice on my face, trying to figure out how to get through the day. I also called back and told the receptionist that I am in terrible pain and she informs me they are not licensed to write any narcotic scripts. WOW not helpful when in horrible pain.

TLDR: They performed a root canal on the wrong tooth! I went here in 2021 with severe pain in my mouth. The doctor told me I needed a root canal, but seemed unsure if it needed to be on tooth A or tooth B (adjacent teeth). He did a root canal on tooth A, but the pain did not get any better. I went to an Endodontists the next day and she determined it was a totally different tooth (neither A or B) that needed a root canal.

Went here early winter of 2020. September 2021 get a bill from this place. Have been trying to call for weeks to pay the bill. No one answers when you click the existing patient option and when you press the new patient option a scheduling coordinator will pick up but you can't pay with them. Have been told by scheduling coordinators that the lynwood office has been closed due to not being able to find a dentist. I understand that they might be closed for that, but they need to be available to allow patients to pay their bill since they do not have an online payment system. Have been told by scheduling coordinators and staff at other emergency dental care usa locations that they will pass my name and number along to admin for the lynwood location so they can call me so I can pay, but have yet to receive any call. Very frustrating.

After getting a tooth removed, I've notice a weird sensational tingling, bitter taste coming from my gums where the extraction hole currently is 2021. This procedure happened in 2019, unsatisfied with the out-come and mental uncomfortableness this has brought me and my family...

It was necessary to urgently extract a tooth with an infection. Came at the same day I called, did an X-ray and removed the tooth. Doctor gave recommendations on how to care for the gum. After a week, the gum recovered. Thank you.

They wanted to charge me up front when I had insurance so I went to modern dental on Everett mall way and found out it was covered at no cost out of pocket.

I have found this place to be helpful when I need it. I have been here twice, once for a cavity the second for an extraction. The first time i went in for my cavity I was charged 75 dollars and my insurance covered the rest. Heres the part I want you to pay attention to. The second time I went in for a tooth extraction they told me I did not have to pay anything, I asked why? The receptionists said, "You have a 75 dollar credit" I thought, what the hell! Any way, my point being I was charged to much on my last visit and they kept the money without even saying anything! They have my phone number and address on file, they could have said something. Had I not gone back really it would have been money stolen! I do like the dental care there, they have always been respectful and nice.

They make you charge up front for $105 for images and exam. When I asked if I could get the bill mailed they changed their minds and wanted my money now before I could get my tooth fixed. I was greatful, but the process they kept pouring water and air in my face. Now I paid $335 out of pocket because my customet service office for insurance was closed. Unfortunately, I had to come there because it was a Saturday. If I get cancer because they pointed the xray more to my head well it will be on their cost. Edit: Most healthy people should not get cancer from these dental xray with the vest to protect the body and not too many xrays taken, but the fact that they wanted the money first was not good business. Also, they did not have the staff ready as an emergency dentist office, only the receptionist was there and it was locked. They did eventually let me used their phone, but I hope my tooth repair does not break or I do get cancer or something of the like.

Super sketchy place. Like a pop up dentist office. $105.00 charge just to be have a consultation and a xray. No one wears a name tag or seems like they know what their doing. Super creepy.

I had a terrible toothache, they were able to get me in by 11am. On a Sunday. Dr. Wu was so kind. I have EXTREME dental anxiety and he could not have been nicer. Told him i just wanted an antibiotic so that I could get to my own dentist, however I actually may go back to him, I liked him that much. The receptionist was very nice. I would highly recommend Emergency Dental. Also, their price was more than reasonable. When u are in that kind of pain I would have paid 10 times that amount.
