The first thing youll discover about Dr. Dau is his great sense of humor. He has treated a lot of special needs children at Boston Universitys three hospital programs during his residency in pediatric dentistry and is comfortable treating children of all cultural backgrounds and difficult clinical cases. He speaks fluent Vietnamese and loves picking up Spanish on the go during his frequent travels to Costa Rica and Mexico.

After receiving his undergraduate degree from Willamette University, Dr. Dau attended Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Dr. Dau then completed his Pediatric Dental Residency program at Boston University, Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Raymond Park received his bachelor in science from University of Wisconsin Madison. After having a great midwest college experience, Dr. Park then continued on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious, ivy league Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. It was there that he discovered his passion caring for children while volunteering at Give Kids a Smile and Head Start Daycare Program. It provided a chance for him to interact with children who suffered from poor oral health and allowed him to realize the importance of early oral health intervention. Dr. Park became a true believer in educating families and ensuring children have a positive dental experience throughout their early years and beyond.

In his free time, Dr. Park enjoys going to the Woodland Park Zoo and Seattle Aquarium with his lovely wife and 1-year-old daughter Chloe. He is also avid sports fan of New York Giants and, of course, his alma mater, the University of Wisconsin (GO GIANTS and BADGERS!). But dont be afraid to ask him if he likes the Seattle Seahawks! Dr. Park is also an enthusiastic foodie and would love to know any of your suggestions.

As far as the front desk goes, I had horrible experience. I'm not sure if she chose me in particular or she didn't know how to do her job correctly, but I saw on their website they take my dental plan. I gave them a call the lady seemed nice. She told me they have a policy first to check the dental insurance coverage before booking my child's appointment. So I gave her the information. I waited about day and half. I never heard back so I gave her a call and ask if there was update? She stated that the insurance company had nobody under that name. Which was very interesting. I offered calling myself to fax her my coverage. She said no need. She ask If I could send a photo of the dental card so she could call. I waited 3 days.. I still haven't heard back. I Gave her another call, She says the dental insurance stated to her that there was nobody under the information I provided. I finally called the dental insurance myself and I had them call her and fax her the break down of our coverage. After all of that, she texts me and STILL says she gave the dental coverage a call and can't find us. She recommended we go else where. The whole experience was just weird. I never ran into dental office like this. I never experienced customer service where they don't contact you back. But if this is how the front desk is ran I'm happy we went else where.

I was just in today with my 4 yr old daughter. At first I thought the appointment went well, my daughter didn't cry she let them do all the things they needed to do all she needed was to be told what they were doing and it was okay(she's an anxious kid). The dentist came out looked at her teeth for a second then told me she needs multiple crowns. I had realized we did not do X-rays of any kind when I got home and so I called back asking why the X-rays weren't done, to be told it was how my daughter was behaving they didn't even offer it. First off she not once throw a fit, cried, or did anything to make me think her actions would lead to not even offering or try to get X-rays. And for your website to say you work with children with special needs, I don't see how. As a mom of a child without special needs to know that because my daughter needed to know what was happening to her and for mom to hold her hand for her anxiety to calm I can not see how they are capable of talking care of children w/ special needs.

Before going into the seats, told the receptionist/assistant that the other patient is coughing with phlegmy cough without her mask on. Her sister is getting her teeth cleaned and she's next to her sister. I told them I don't feel safe. Please at least Lysol the air. We're placed next to them. I am very afraid of catching covid since my 2-year-old daughter is not vaccinated. The assistant gave the girl a mask and asked her to put her mask on. And wiped down the chair. No wall or plexiglass is separating the patients. The assistant does amazing work but this place only takes patients' temperature as covid precautions. While Delta and Omicron are raging. I spoke with the dentist and he offered us a room to have her teeth clean. So much relief.

Amazing. They treat our boys great. Our youngest son has congenital heart disease and Dr. Park is very knowledgeable about CHD and caring.

We had an awful first experience here. The front desk staff was nice, but after that, it was all down hill. The hygienist seemed rushed and impatient as she was working with my 6-year-old. She didn't explain anything that she was doing (x-rays, cleaning, flossing, what it might feel like, let me know if this hurts, etc.). Her tone of voice got firm and she seemed frustrated that my son had a hard time following her directions because he was nervous. She then directed him to go to the dentist chair around the corner without physically showing him where it was. The chairs where patients are treated are all in the same room and right next to each other. There is no privacy and people's mouth germs (as they get their cleanings done) are free to float around all of the other patients. The hygienist didn't ask my child what flavor toothpaste he wanted, which isn't a huge deal, but a first in my 36 years of getting my own teeth cleaned, and something my little one was looking forward to. Also, the TV above the chair wasn't working. When the dentist came to examine my son, he didn't even introduce himself. He rushed through his recommendations talking about different types of sedation, and expected me to decide in the moment which one I wanted. When I asked specific questions, like "Are there any procedures that need to be prioritized over others?" he answered by saying that it's easier to do a bunch at the same time, not saying specifically which ones were urgent. Overall, I expected a more child-friendly environment from a pediatric dentist. Working with kids takes more than just handing out a toy at the end. It seems like they had no knowledge or training on how to interact with kids (or adults for that matter). I didn't appreciate the lack of communication throughout the visit and the lack of general bedside manner. It made it hard to trust that his recommendations were legit and that they weren't just trying to push through a bunch of patients to get a paycheck. Needless to say, we're not going back.

I just switched my last child (3/3). I am a busy single mom and find it hard to schedule these visits. Today I called to see if they could take in my child last min. & THEY DID! The ladies in the front are kind and friendly. They're also so incredibly patient with my fussy and nervous kids. The place in clean, they always have a movie going to entertain the little and not so little ones. And there has never been a wait time, we've come early or a little late and they still see us right away! Thank you all, especially the ladies upfront. I'm so blessed we found this spot!
