After putting off having much needed work done for several years, partly due to concerns over costs and partly due to simply being very self conscious about my situation, I finally took my first steps to get the work done. Today was my first visit to their office and from the moment I walked in the door, the staff as well as Dr Russell made me feel welcomed and they were very professional and efficient. They also eased my concerns about cost, not just because they're reasonable cost wise but also because they helped me figure out costs of future work I need done based on my insurance. Great group of people here!

Just finished my consultation over here. The younger lady at the front desk was amazing. Everyone was super friendly & very informative! I'm happy I found this place and I don't worry about going back. I know I'm in good hands over here!

This is the best team, headed by Dr. Russell. Always attentive, never rushed, I always feel I am in the best of hands. I highly recommend Dr. Russel for all your Oral Facial Surgical needs. I am a challenging patient and Dr. Russell has always taken care of me. I really could write pages. You might be able to find less expensive, although I don't know as I would never have work done anywhere else, but I know you won't find better. Jude Huber

Yesterday Dr. Russel pulled my tooth--no pain whatsoever. This morning no pain-felt great. Did some chores--then went for a run, thanks to Dr. Russel and staff--great job. Thanks, Mike Carr

Super clean, beautiful facility. Dr. Russell is quite personable! I appreciate that he explained enough for me to understand what was happening to put me at ease. Great team. Resolved an issue that caused considerable discomfort; I am so grateful and relieved. I would recommend.

My mother needed an appt. for a tooth extraction, they were able to work her into the schedule rather quickly given the short notice. The front desk staff was very helpful and the experience was great. I highly recommend Dr. Russel

Gave 2 stars because the wisdom teeth removal procedure itself went well. The rest of the experience was *grueling*. I was quoted $57 at the consultation for wisdom teeth removal. I have dual dental insurance. My appointment was a month later, I got a call from the office less than a week later that they had to post pone my appointment due to not being ready. Okay, I can deal with that. Day of surgery, over a MONTH after initial consultation, I was told I needed to pay over $700 and that they probably will refund me some money. Would of really appreciated them notifying me of a $650 price change PRIOR to my appointment. Fast-forward almost two months. I finally get a refund check. It's not for the amount I expected so I check my dental claims. The office submitted the same claim at least 3 times and got denied. Called the office and was told "I've been doing this for 7 years!" Okay? Well then why didn't you get it right the first time? Really unprofessional front office. If I had know what I'd be getting myself into I honestly would have looked elsewhere. Office is clean and other support staff was great though.

I have always had a wonderful experience at Emerald Isle for my oral surgery needs. Super friendly and professional staff & Dr.Russell is awesome! They always make me feel comfortable even tho I am a nervous nelly. They never make me feel embarrassed about dental issues. I am so grateful for Emerald Isle! I am about to get my 3rd implant. So far the first 2 have worked out perfectly.

Super frustrating experience here. I got my consultation done and scheduled an appointment to get my wisdom teeth removed for Tuesday, July 5. I was told that if I call 24 hours ahead of time to cancel I can avoid a $150 cancellation fee. I called on Friday, July 1, and I was still charged a fee due to the fact that the office was closed from Thursday, June 30 to Tuesday, July 5 (something that I was NEVER informed about in case I needed to cancel). I have tried to contact the office and have not gotten any response. Extremely unprofessional and the doctor does not have a good attitude. I would give 0 stars if I could.

On 7/6 our teenager was quite apprehensive about having their wisdom teeth extracted, and Dr. Russell and his staff were extremely patient and understanding. Their kindness made the process a lot easier on our child. My siblings and I had visits with Dr. Russell as children, and my husband and I are pleased that he's still around for our own keiki. A+ Experience I had a wisdom tooth extraction with Dr Russel. His office was not only impeccable but has a beautiful decor and zen vibe which makes it for a positive and relax experience. My extraction was smooth and speedy, so much so they were done pulling the tooth and I thought they were just getting started. Thank you so much to Dr Russell and his staff. I highly recommend and won't hesitate on coming back if needed.
