Dr. Woolsey was born in Atlanta, Georgiaand moved to the Emerald Coast when he wassixyears old. He attended Valparaiso and Bluewater Bay Elementary, Ruckel Middle School and Niceville High School, where he was a member of the tennis team. Following graduation, Dr. Woolsey attended University of Central Florida (UCF), where he received a degree in Business Finance and served in many leadership roles, including Student Body Vice-President. Following his time at UCF, Dr. Woolseyrelocated to Kansas City, Missouri to attend dental school at University Missouri - Kansas City (UMKC). His success during four years of dental school allowed him to be accepted into a 2.5 year residency in Periodontics at UMKC, where he received comprehensive training in Periodontics, Implant Dentistry and IV Sedation.
Dr. Woolsey is happily married to his wife, Jenni, whom he met while living in Kansas City. They are proud parents to Eli (7) and Carson Joy (5). They reside in Niceville, Florida. During his free time, Dr. Woolsey enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family.
Carol grew up in a military family but has lived in Florida since a teenager. She has two children and three grandchildren. Carol has worked in the medical/dental field for over 40 years and has been at Emerald Coast Periodontics since 1998.
Tammy and her husband, James, and two children retired to this area after being in the military for over 20 years. Tammy worked in the medical field as a LPN (licensed practical nurse) for several years and then went back to school for dental hygiene training. Tammy has been at Emerald Coast Periodontics since 2000.
Pam was born and raised in Baker, FL and currently resides there with her Husband, Paul. She hastwo daughters andfivegrandsons. She has 30 years of experience in the dental field and joined the Emerald Coast Periodontics team in 2014.

Dr Woolsey and the entire staff are marvelous. After having a terrible experience with a dentist to extracted too many teeth, along with a serious reaction after the extractions, Emerald Coast Periodontics was there for me. Dr Woolsey explains every step of the implant process, possible things to watch out for, and responds to your questions. I truly appreciate his support. You could not find a finer doctor. The staff stepped me through the billing process, help me stay on top of appointments and we're thoroughly supportive throughout. You could not ask for a better team.

I visited their office and Dr Bresler said I had to have a gum graft to save a lower front tooth. He indicated that as with any surgery there were no guarantees that it would work because how far my periodontal disease had progressed over the years. One week after the surgery the graft took and he was really happy with the results and so am I. Today is my final recheck and I really am elated because of the results. I would recommend his services if you have gum or other issues. I will go back and see him again and again because he and his staff is the ONLY place that made me feel comfortable relaxed. Take this from a person who has really bad anxiety!

Today I had my first of 3 visits with Dr Woosley. At the age of 11 I had some severe trauma from a horse kick to the face. I lost 8 teeth. After several post trauma dental visits and many root canals, I would always have this over whelming fear of getting implants. I knew I'd have to get them one day. Dr Gagnon recommend Dr Woosley to carry out the procedure. I had about 2 years of an infection above my front two teeth. Which would need some serious work. I was so so nervous it was killing me. But he prescribed me some medicine to easy the anxiety before we began the surgery. During the surgery he was continually checking if i was comfortable. He was incrediblely gently and worked quickly. His assistants are all very lovely, kind and give that little touch of a motherly feeling. I would highly highly recommend Emerald Coast Periodontics for anyone who is nervous but most of all someone who wants the procedure to go swiftly and softly.

I had gum lengthening procedure done. Staff and Dr. Woolsey took great care of me. I get very scared of dentists but had a wonderful experience with them. Would definitely recommend. Our daughter had a very gummy smile. We went to numerous specialists and had 3 unsuccessful gingivectomies done only to have the gum tissue grow back again, and again. We pretty much had given up until our dentist referred us to Dr Woolsey. He explained to us in detail how her problem was excess bone, which is why she had an abundance of gum tissue. To which a crown lengthening procedure would be the answer. He reassured us that this time her surgery would be successful because we were taking care of her underlying problem. Her procedure went smoothly, and she healed in no time at all. And now has the most beautiful smile! We recommend him and his staff without hesitation to anyone who is in need of a terrific periodontist. Dr Woolsey, we can't thank you enough!

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. During a recent gum graph experience I had several post op concerns to which they always responded quickly and courteously. Regardless to whom I spoke with, I always received quality advice. When needed, they were able to fit me in to the schedule on a moment's notice to be checked. To top it off, on the first day I saw 6 or more dolphins swim by the practice through the ceiling to floor window that my chair faced. Goodbye pictures on the wall!
