I am an advocate for conservative dentistry, painless procedures, and clear discussions with my patients about their dental goals. The dental office can be an intimidating place for a patient and I want to break down those barriers to help as many people as possible.
Dedicated to offer personalized care to every patient, Dr. Christina Lee provides ample time to discuss treatment goals and options with each of her patients. This is because she believes patient education and preventative care is the foundation for a lifetime of optimal oral health. She is always mindful of the patients experience and known for her gentle hands, friendly demeanor, and caring approach.
Dr. Christina Lee obtained her Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Michigan and her Doctorate from the University of Southern California. She stays active and current in dentistry through her professional membership in the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Los Angeles Dental Society, as well as taking many continuing education courses every year. Dr. Lees dental interests lie within restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Outside of dentistry Dr. Lee and her husband, who is also a dentist, enjoy living a healthy active lifestyle full of yoga and cycling.
Dr. Steve Kim received his Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from the Johns Hopkins University, where he was awarded with Michael Bloomberg Scholarship for his academic excellence. Then, he entered UCLA School of Dentistry with the Deans Scholarship and graduated with a degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Kim is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Kim is dedicated to providing a comfortable and relaxing experience while delivering excellent dental care. He achieves that by placing an emphasis on gentle and minimally invasive dentistry. Dr. Kim also makes sure to spend adequate time communicating with his patients. He believes that patient communication is a crucial component in educating patients about oral health and various treatment options for their individual needs. Aside from the clinical aspect of dentistry, Dr. Kim also spends time expanding his dental knowledge and techniques by attending various continuing education seminars.
Q: What do you like about being an orthodontist?A: Being an orthodontist is truly a rewarding profession because of the emotional impact I can have on patients. I feel very fortunate and privileged to be able to give a person a new smile and the positive outcome that goes along with smile transformations.
Q: Why did you want to start your own orthodontic practice?A: Only with my own office I would be able to set the standard in patient care. I wanted to give my patients choices from the latest advancements in orthodontics. Braces do not mean metal brackets and wires anymore. There are esthetic alternatives such as ceramic braces, invisible braces, and lingual braces. We even use temporary anchorage devices (TADs) now for complex tooth movement. Also, I love the relationships I develop with my patients and wanted to be at a location where I would be there long-term for their siblings, family and the next generation.
Q: What is your favorite part of being an orthodontist?A: When I get to see my patients smile the day we remove their braces. Its a great day. The patient is excited and I just cant wait for them to see the final result. Its a good day for the whole office!
Dr. Jeesoo Choe is board certified and earned the status of a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Choe is a graduate of UCLA School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree as well as his advanced specialty training in Periodontics and Dental Implant Surgery. His extensive training in complex esthetics, smile enhancement, complicated full-mouth rehabilitation, and exceptional diagnostic skills can provide patients with treatments that are personalized.
Dr. Choe has developed various surgical approaches which can help you with all phases of modern periodontal therapy including hard and soft tissue grafting, implantology, PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrinogen) for tissue regeneration, and sinus surgeries. Dr. Choes utmost priority is to communicate clearly with each and every patient to make sure the patients are part of their individualized treatment. He emphasizes consulting with each patient the different phases of treatment step by step and explains those options using the most up to date diagnostic tools available, providing the best customized treatment for each patients particular need.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Choe enjoys playing soccer and basketball. Dr. Choe also enjoys playing the piano, and participates in annual dental mission trips to Central American countries, including Guatemala and Honduras.
Dr. Kiss grew up in sunny Southern California. He graduated at the top of his class from the USC School of Dentistry with induction into the OKU Honor Society. He was accepted to a six-year residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at UCSF, where he earned his Medical Degree. During residency, he completed one year of General Surgery training which exposed him to the most medically complex patients. His current focus is dentoalveolar surgery, wisdom teeth, bone grafting, dental implants, benign pathology, corrective jaw surgery, maxillofacial trauma and reconstruction. Dr. Kiss strives to provide quality care through state of the art treatments. In his free time, he enjoys time with family and friends, exploring nature, and sports.
Tanya is the true definition of excellence! With over nine years of experience at Embrace Dental and Orthodontics, she has honed her operations savvy and expertise. Tanya started off as a dental assistant then learned the skills to manage daily operations. Due to her clinical background she is extremely knowledgeable in treatment coordinating and is the best person to talk to regarding your insurance benefits. She truly is our go-to girl for all our needs! Her warm, approachable style makes her one of the favorites for patients to talk to. She genuinely cares about all our patients and strives for excellent service with a beautiful smile. Tanya loves music and going to movies. She is a Disney fanatic and her favorite is Beauty and the Beast.
Elvira is our longest tenured team member. She has been taking care of patients at Embrace Dental and Orthodontics since 2009! Her friendly personality and commitment for excellence have drawn immense praise from patients, whom she considers many to be her secondary family and friends. Elvira is extremely knowledgeable in clinical dentistry and her friendly chair-side manner along with witty sense of humor helps patients feel relaxed and comfortable. She takes pride in going an extra mile to make sure every patient leaves with a smile on their face. In her free time, Elvira loves spending time with her two boys and cat, Zoe.
Beautiful inside and out, Nancy is extremely passionate in creating a memorable patient experience. She is especially patient and nurturing to pediatric patients and parents love when she takes care of their children. We can always count on her to give 100%, she is the ultimate team member that every practice wishes to have and we are beyond grateful to have Nancy on our team! Outside of the office, Nancy loves experiencing new things and her goal is to travel the world!

Embrace Dental is one of the best dental group Ive been to. The staff is very caring and Dr. Steven Kim is very knowledgable. Ive met plenty of business dentists that damage your teeth more and cares more about money but this office will not do that.

We are grateful that we were referred to this orthodontist. My son completed his 2 years of braces (yay!) The staff is always welcoming and know us once we walk in. They are very patient and answer all questions we have. They do their best to always accommodate with our schedule.

Coming here was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I had braces before so straight teeth wasn't a problem, it was my two baby teeth on the side of my front teeth. I wanted a full bright smile. I would never smile in pictures, but now I'm not afraid to! They were so fast with the process and extremely EXTREMELY friendly. Especially the front desk ladies. They were always so kind and helpful, made me feel super comfortable in coming back again. The dentists know exactly what they're doing and they're so nice and helpful as well. I will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for veneers for an affordable price and quick/easy process. Thank you Embrace Dental!

My son and I did our braces treatment at this office, and I couldn't be happier about the outcome. Prices were just right, since doctors are highly knowledgable and explain with detail about any questions you might have. All the staff is nice. The establishment is super clean... very professional. Today my son was a first timer here at of Dr Peter Lee Office and his very first time getting braces at a very young age (8). Doctor was very understanding and helpful when I told him the situation of my son and why he would need them at such a young age, I could've waited until my son was a bit older but because my son wasn't feeling his smile I had to do something about it now. Dr. Lee was my my third opinion (I said yes to him). He made my son feel welcome and safe telling him what he will be doing and everything will be ok. His staff are very nice and professional at what they do. The place is very clean and sanitize.

I got a crown replaced and it fits perfectly now. Dr. Christina was very thorough and kind. She made the experience very pleasant, cannot recommend her enough. Front of the house was great and made scheduling very simple and hassle free. Will definitely be back.

Best Dentist I've ever been to. Love the friendly staff! Got a lot of work done this past year and every experience was always a good outcome! Braces were off a few months after the year. Pricing was reasonable. I've recommended a few people that are now also very happy to go there.

I recently completed my braces treatment here with Dr Peter. He is a miracle worker to say the least! I love this place. It's extremely professional and everyone treats you like family.
